A nice spot to have a cuppa coffee and buy your favorite bottle of Du Toits kloof wines. Not a fan of the ice coffee here. Wish they rather use smaller ice cubes than the big ones. The coffee dont need to taste more like ice than coffee.

If you are in the area, you absolutely HAVE TO stop and have breakfast here. In fact, all their food is amazing and upholding the good franchise name. Their coffee, pastries & cake is fresh and slices are huge. Burgers are realy tasty and their pies (although not on the menu) are really meaty and perfect for a chilly morning.

We always stop off here for breakfast on our way home from holiday. Its my daughters favourite place to go. The food, baked goods, coffee etc are all divine. They sell preserves, wines, olive oil, beauty products and even happy socks! Outside is a lovely play area for the kiddies. Going there is always the perfect ending to our holiday. We will be back!

Very expensive, and cooking smells throughout the restaurant are very off-putting. This successful chain is done no favours by this branch... Go to the Enchanted oak farm stall on the other side of town for some real hospitality and tasty food.

Stopped there today to buy pies for lunch which we have just had at our campsite on a farm in the area. Filling was generous and tasty, pastry was nice and flaky but the pie was very dry. I suspect that it was cooked the previous day as it was around 09.30 and probably from the previous days batch.

It felt chaotic. We stopped to grab a coffee but they were experiencing a bit of a Sunday rush. Nobody knew where to stand to get their take-away coffees so customers ended up blocking the entrance to the kitchens and the coffee bar. Staff members seemed flustered and customers were confused. Might be worth a lunch stop on a quieter day but it’s not really a grab-and-go stop.

Nice food. Very slow service and waitress had her hands all over the neck of beer bottle. I think the waitstaff need training. No banting items on menu but they did make me a nice omelet outside breakfast hours.

We eat here often, even before it became the Ou Meul Du Toitskloof. Nothing compares to the fabulous location. Its kid and pet friendly. The food and service is good, but not their pizzas. Two of our family members ordered pizza and our main issue is with the base. Its not a true pizza base and is very difficult to chew. I personally love their sourdough bread. I usually order the chicken pesto open sandwich, but this time I tried the Ou Meul club toasted sandwich. Ive included a pic of my sandwich and the beautiful view. The chicken pesto is still my favorite. Its really worth a visit and is easy to reach from the N1, between Paarl and Worcester, on the turn-off to Rawsonville. You should try the Du Toitskloof wines while youre at it!

Ou Meul is our favourite go-to.First of all, we always stock up on rusks here, they are irresistible and the perfect morning bite when having friends over for the weekend. My husband and I call ourselves croissant fanatics. Having tested and tried (literally) hundreds of croissants over Cape Town, Ou Meul at Du Toitskloof has completely nailed it! These freshly baked, buttery, stringy, french delights are to die for. They pair perfectly with a flat white or even better with some bubbles. The burgers are absolutely fantastic. Fresh brioche buns, perfectly grilled patties and stunning trims. We love the classic burger as it is - really really good.Service always wonderful, with an extremely friendly owner who truly cares about his restaurant and the clients experience. An absolute must! Bon Appétit!

A fantastic venue to spend some time relaxing enjoying either breakfast, brunch or lunch with family and friends. Fantastic fresh baked foods made daily on site served by friendly staff.Premises are wheelchair friendly as well as kid friendly and our furry friends/companions (kept ln a leash) are welcome. There are a few wooden horses and some playpark items to keep the youngsters occupied . Du Toitskloof cellar is on the same premises for some wine tasting and sales. With an upper deck area for larger groups or private events available, by arrangement, it is perfect. The missus and myself have hosted a couple events here and all that attended were happy .For an afternoon out an about it is a perfect place to enjoy the company of good friends with good food and a glass of wine. Oh try the apple juice it is awesome.

We were blown away by the food and drink selection, it’s not what I expected at all! Maybe we were just used to Riviersonderend and the “coffee to go” culture there, but I was very nicely surprised. All the wild and whacky flavours of milkshake are divine, from milk tart to pecan tart to brownie. The chicken burger was amazing as well, with plenty of flavours and toppings. The prices aren’t too cheap but you get what you pay for and more, I wouldn’t reasonably expect them to be less. We would go back in a heartbeat if we’re close again soon

Delicious and well presented food.Unfortunately there was a large number of flies inside the restaurant when we were there for Sunday lunch. It really detracted from the experience as we were constantly waving flies away from our food and drinks.Otherwise the service was good i.t.o. timing; the waitress could just use some finishing training as the interactions were quite blunt or rushed. Also, one of the two millionaire shortbreads ordered for dessert contained virtually no caramel from what we could see or taste.Note: their menu differs from what is on their website at the moment, they do not serve croissants here anymore.

What shocking experience.... We were a table of 5 people. We waited 10 minutes before being given a menu, further 10 minutes to place our order. Waited 20 minutes to get our order only to have one one persons order be missing. When we finally located our waitress she said she never placed that persons order because one of us went to the bathroom so she miss counted...makes no sense.... The burger that did arrive was still raw which we sent back... We then waited for another 15 minutes for the 2 burgers to arrive. When the burgers finally arrived it was still raw.. which we made the waitress aware of. But because we were so hungry we decided to just eat the burgers.. Not once did the manager come to us and when we got the bill and complained the manager still refused to come to us.Not to even mention the ice coffees we ordered was void of coffee so we had to ask for an additional shot whichbee were charged for or the fact the bathrooms were dirty and the toilet doors dont lock.Really shocking experience... I dont even blame the waitress I blame the manager for being pathetic at her job.

The inside area was really noisy on the public holiday. It took me awhile to realise it was actually the waitrons and kitchen staff that were so loud because it wasnt the guests !! Ordered a small breakfast of 2 poached eggs, ciabatta toast and black mushrooms and received a plate of black slop, see pic. Tell me that doesnt look like a pile of cow dung, even the flies gathered (true story)!Ou Meul are renowned for their breads so why take a creamy, sloppy mixture of black mushrooms and pour it over the bread? The bread was soggy by the time it reached the table. The 2 poached eggs were drowned in vinegar! The single star rating is for the poor waiter who was most apologetic and embarrassed by the dish he had to deliver.
