This company is very unprofessional, disappointing and borderline scammers. Theyre taking advantage of the GPU shortage, by advertising products on their website for one price, then increasing the price the day after you purchase the product and demanding that you pay the difference. My husband has been looking for a decently priced GPU for months as he wants to upgrade his home PC. I finally found PC Internationals website, which was selling an MSI RTX 3080 GPU for R21 849 (which is better than other prices but still pretty bad considering how much these GPUs should actually cost). I sent my husband a screenshot and a link, and we decided to purchase the GPU. After we got an invoice stating that our item had free shipping as it was over R2 500 and the credit card transaction fee that was R436.98 (the total was R22 285.98), we paid the full amount on the 18th of August, and were told that our item would be delivered within 2-3 days. Today (August 19th) a man named Donovan contacted my husband saying that we had broken their website and gotten a fake price for the GPU. He claimed that the actual price was R24 149 and that we needed to pay the difference. I went back to their website to check and, lo and behold, they had changed the price from R21 849 to R24 149. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of the actual price on their webpage before they decided to scam us and we have the invoice as proof. When my husband said that he wanted our money back, Donovan said they wouldnt return all of it. My husband argued that it wasnt our fault that PC International decided to increase the price of the GPU the day after we purchased it. Now, were waiting to have our money returned to us, and I just found out that it will take about a week to get our money back.

If ever you needed assistance with your your PC or laptop, look no further than PC International. This is the only store I use in Johannesburg for my laptops! All the staff are friendly, helpful and always offer superb customer service. Working with there staff in store, online and over the telephone, they have always delivered reliable, technical and thorough support.

Great walking service, bought a gaming mouse yesterday, the online website is good they have a fair amount of products but lack a bit of variety, only selling one brand of memory, and I did notice this across most of their products lines vs other companies such as wootware if you guys can improve on this I think you can become the best in jhb.

I bought a prebuilt PC from their online store.All the hardware works find however the presentation was terrible, there was absolutely no cable management. Installing an additional hard drive and case fans( only a CPU fan included ) was a nightmare! The back panel had been shoved on and the cables pushed against it hard.My case has an LED strip in it however this was incorrectly connected leading to my LED becoming defective.I was also missing so so many parts from the accessories meant to come with the case.My case also came with a USB C front panel connector however my motherboard didnt support this (they could have easily checked this compatibility issue on their side with an online checker such as pcpartpicker).Also I am quite sure that when ordering a so called prebuilt machine they dont stress test it and just simply throw everything together and check that it POSTS and everything loads.However, the performance was great, especially after adding extra inexpensive fans myself(bottom blue fan).Take this review with a pinch of salt, perhaps it was simply one builder being rushed.However be prepared to have to rebuild your prebuilt PC. The prices are good but maybe consider buying individual components from them or if their prebuilt is at a discount as for all the raw parts to be sent to you to build yourself as it definitely would have taken me less time to build it than sort out the mess of cables and components that arrived.I have reported these issues to PCInt and I will update this review once I hear back.UPDATE: They have sent all the missing parts, my LED is still defective however this is a relatively small issue

Very helpful staff and good prices

Purchased a laptop 6 months ago from them and had them change the drive from a 1 terabyte to a 256SSD. Now, my laptop is not working at all and was pretty much brushed off when I phoned them and was told to contact Acer directly. I’m pretty sure the issues are as a result of their sloppy work because I can hear a screw rattling around inside my machine. What’s worse is that I’m not even allowed to open the device to access my files as that will jeopardise the warranty (despite the fact that I have assignments due in two days that I was about to submit). Pretty terrible service and support for something that cost me 11 grand.

I brought in my laptop that wasnt turning on. The next day they phoned me to tell me I could pick it up and that it was working. Unfortunately when I arrived to pick it up the same problem happened. I bought a laptop battery at the end of November 2020. It was faulty and returned it in the beginning of February 2021. The technician promised me to send it to the dealer and get back to me within 2 weeks. Ive been waiting for a response during the 3rd week already. How can I complete tasks/ assignments if there is no battery inside the laptop. I am highly disappointed.

Best place for your computer

Computers Only in Midrand has better stock and treats their customers with respect. At PC International I was hung up on 4 times and when I finally got through their way of apologizing/righting the issue was by saying lets move past that. I recently purchased a case from them and asked them to switch it but when I got it back the cable management was so bad that I had to just redo everything myself, plus the front panel audio and mic jacks were just left unplugged. Will never use PC International again and will advise all friends to stop using it. Computers Only is perfect for the pc enthusiast! They Care!

Be careful. The gaming pcs are not ready as stated on their website. You do not have an operating system, and the hardware drivers need to be installed from CD, but there is no CD drive so you need to get the drivers downloaded onto another pc to transfer onto the one you purchased. Dealing with management is also quite difficult. The pc I bought was advertised as Fortnite ready it really was not ready.

Called in to make sure the certain product that I wanted was in stock, and I specified exactly which model I was interested in. Sales representative said they had 4 in stock, drove 50 kms just to find out no, they dont have stock, and to make it even worse, the sales representative kept interrupting me while I was talking and gave a me a very poor well Im sorry. Very unprofessional. Drove 100kms for nothing, wont do business with you again.

No follow-up done on my quote issued. When I eventually drive through to them, the guy that did the quote is not available because he is busy loading urgent stock onto the system so they can get it booked out for deliveries. (What about the other 8 ppl standing around?) Then only to find out that they dont have stock on the quoted item. The guy didnt seem very phased about it. Bad service and bad attitude. I wouldnt buy from them if they sold their stuff for 90% discount.
