We enjoyed ourselves here and had a lovely meal. The menue is great and many choices! The owner was very friendly and took our order. The waiter who served us was very friendly and helpful. Definetely I will recommend them and will go there again.

Thank you to this amazing Rude Chef and her staff. A special effort was made to accommodate our group of 4 with special needs for my lady. Anthea our kind waitress made arrangements for sugar free veggies and their attention to us in spite of a private birthday party. The recommendation was spot on. Thank you. We will be back.

So homely, so yummy! We loved it.

We had a delicious supper, melt-in-the-mouth Karoo lamb and a wonderfully prepared vegetable dish, appropriately named Vegetable Stack, Fernskloof wine and brandy and date tart for dessert. Lovely atmosphere and relaxing music. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful surprise! Really good food, value for money and good service. Karoo lamb, spinach and pumpkin with mash. Food that warms your soul after countless burgers on your way down from Joburg. Highly recommended

This was our first time at this restaurant it was a very disappointing experience. The food was very average and small portions compared to across the road. Overpriced for what you get. The ambiance was nice and it’s centrally located. Not to shame this establishment, but rather go across the road to the hotel.

Food was great, but the owner definitely lives up to the name... RUDE!!! Will think twice before ever going there again.

Really pleasant owner/chef despite the name, apparently this is a local nickname from before she owned this restaurant. We had good food and great conversations with her and saw her chatting to all the customers.
