The food is absolutely incredible. Whatever you fancy the Lazy Lizard will have. My recommendations would have to be the beef burger, the carrot cake and also this fruit bowl just hit the spot from my second day there. Fresh and wholesome food, you just won’t find anywhere else to be honest. Staff are so lovely and I will be back - that’s a promise. Thank you for a memorable weekend.

We love the Lazy Lizard! Best fresh baked goods in town, a good vegan selection available! Were big fans of the banana bread and roast lamb pies. Their cakes are always fresh and super tasty. And the staff is wonderful too.

Food and venue ok but service slow. I understand prices are generally higher in the smaller towns, and this place is definitely one, I think post covid some places are trying to recoup too quickly.

Disappointed. Food presentation not great and quite bland. Service not great, our first waiter took our drinks and food order and then we never saw him again. Noone checked in on us, we werent able to order another drink during our meal and Noone came to ask if we wanted the bill, etc. Eventually we went inside to pay. I expected more from this little town and thought because its small, there would be more attention to detail.

I had a great experience! The garden area is really nice. The food was great. The staff was so helpful and friendly. And a bunus- there was an AMAZING harmonica player who blessed us with the most beautiful songs. AND THE BREAD!! Wow!!

Very unpleasant experience. We were 3 adults and 1 child. The drinks came in 3 different times. The food took long and when it arrived the pumpkin soup was inedible - just tasted like orange water. Nobody came to check if the food was fine, after a long time we got someones attention and sent the soup back. The rest of the food was expensive for what we received. We waited 15 minutes for the bill where I eventually had to go inside to pay, and they didnt even have a bill and I had to tell them what we had. There is also a big dog that is not on a leash that barks at the kids in the play area. Unpleasant and not recommended.

Horrible! Drive past it. No-toslow service. Warm beer. Waiter got our order after three attempts. Lamb chops tough and drowned in gravy. Dont know how they are still in business.

Our go too spot for Prince Albert. Fantastic coffees and the best homemade burger around. Portions are generous so come hungry.

Great cozy restaurant on the main road. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn’t know how tastes homemade drinks, so been offered to try, lovely idea. Homemade lemonade and herbal ice tea tastes fantastic.Couvert - home baked fresh bread is served with salted butter - while you are waiting for meal.I had a greek salad and feta/spinach quiche- very delicious.Portions are very big and prices - reasonable.I recommend

Fun and quirky spot on the main drag in Prince Albert. Delicious food and a lovely garden which is great for kids.

It helped that my first visit was with a local but the service was warm, friendly, extremely efficient and the coffee and food were delicious. I couldnt fault it.

Lamb roast was just too little and just all over the show... I felt like they threw about everything in the plate to fill it u... minus the lamb itself.......but the lamb curry was got adult portions...and nice..

We arrived after a long drive and had the most delicious lunch! Our drinks and meal arrived in good time even though it was crowded. The carrot cake is a must! Highly recommend the lazy Lizard.

We stopped at lazy lizard today and just wanted a coffee but couldnt resist the delicious apple pie. What a stunner!!! Highly recommended!!! And the flat white with almond milk was yummy too! Our teenage boys couldnt stop raving about their salmon, avo, cream cheese sandwiches and I must say their chocolate milkshakes looked very tempting!!! Well done and one day sooner or later we are going to return and hopefully in the meantime a lot of other bypassers will read this!

We had pizza just before closing, and it was fabulous. Sitting outside just made it that bit more special. Best thin base and yummy toppings (except for the chillies which I didnt order 🙄). We were also able to get some supplies like milk, homemade biscuits and delicious fruit.

Wonderful early Sunday morning omelette breakfast sitting on the veranda watching the passing parade. Clearly a favorite with the locals too. Bought locally made cheese as the dairy itself was closed due to covid19 restrictions.

First time I have visited the café/restaurant/shop. And will certainly visit there again when in the town or close to. Food served is of good quality much if going by the shop is fresh home grown or locally obtained produce. We must have been there on an off day. Service was slow. Our waiter vanished after our food was delivered. The platter for 2 was indifferent with a few slices if cheese, cold meats and one chicken drumstick. One assumes a platter for 2 would include two of everything. Meagre amount of bread too. Not good value for money.

I was there for the Karoo Gravel Grinder. We started each day at Lazy Lizard with a quick breakfast. The staff were friendly and food was delicious. No matter the request they did their best to accommodate us.

The cafe is really nice and has nice things for sale. The service from the counter however was quite unfriendly and not helpful. His PR skills are lacking badly. The lamb pies were nice, although the carrots dominate the taste buds, therefore the lamb meat taste does not come through on the palate. The cappuccinos were top class.

What a fantastic place - although our primary purpose was breakfast, this delightful establishment serves a more important function - as an outlet for fresh local produce, including their own superb breads and other baked goods. To top it off, the staff are engaging, humorous, intelligent - WOW!

Well planned menu with sufficient choices to satisfy all patrons. Breakfast is served with freshly baked bread on the premises. Lunch includes favourites such as Karoo roast leg of lamb. Also serves some wine options from the surrounding area. Staff is friendly and helpful at all times.

Before the COVID lockdown I had a superlative breakfast here. As a result I suggested to my group we repeat the experience this September.Sadly no comparison. Rude owner and ridiculously overpriced menu.
