Very nice restaurant with good food. The atmosphere was great and the service fast and friendly. Large play area for the kids and it looked like the outside seating part of the restaurant was also dog friendly. Other than a small hiccup with the bill, (stuff added that we didnt order) which was sorted out quickly there was really not much to complain about ! Definitely give this place a try on your next day out. Well wort the visit !!

PLTFRM is just amazing if you need a break from the city! The atmosphere is amazing, food delicious and service good. A great place for the whole family and best of all they pet friendly! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a lovely outing!

We always love this feeling of open spaces, escaping from the hustle and bustle. It is almost like going on holiday for lunch. To top it off, great food!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place, will visit again! The food is great & reasonably priced. The waitrons are amazing as well! Amazing vibe, theres also play area which my daughter enjoyed- Only thing I didnt like is that some people were smoking in the kids play area, if that can be addressed then 5 stars!

I dont remember ever being at a prettier, friendlier and professional establishment that is meant for partying and functions.Our company came here for our MDs 40th and we all had an amazing time. From food to impeccable service I would HIGHLY recommend this for large functions or even a Sunday lunch since it is pet and child friendly.You can go for your Sunday run and go eat an amazing lunch afterwards.5/5.

Food was good. The open area feels pleasing even though its pretty much right next to the high way. The play area is satisfactory, but van become crowded quite easily.

This place is absolutely stunning! Great service with friendly staff. Great vegetarian options and just a good vibe. Theres hiking trails on the premises, outdoor playing area for the kids and live music on Sundays. A great way to end your weekend is to go chill at this establishment.

Nice place with a great setting. Dog friendly, which is a plus. Pizza we ordered was tasty and fresh. Wood fire oven baked. Nice!Unfortunately it was so busy we could get a table and had to wait at the take away section for an hour. 3 stars because of exorbitant food prices and long waiting times. More tables should be kept for walk in business.

We are not cyclists but we thoroughly enjoyed having lunch at PLTFRM on Boxing day. Big lawn and safe kiddies play area. Dog friendly. Nice selection of beers including hard to find specialities. We had pizza and gourmet PLTFRM burger, food was great, I especially like the full Greek side salad with feta and Olives. Thanks to Bernard for your friendly service! Well be back.

We went on a Monday afternoon to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful location, friendly waiters, but expect to pay double what you would at any other restaurant in the area, unless you order pizza, I guess.Pricing aside, my biggest gripe is with the quality of the dishes. My husband had the ribeye steak, and the waiter never asked how well hed like it done. When the cut arrived we understood why - it was wafer thin, not even 1cm across. We paid R210 for that, and R25 for chips to go with it (yep, no free sides here!), and at R50 for a Castle light draught, R90 for a gin cocktail, it all becomes a bit ridiculous.I had the beef trinchado, the tiny cubes of meat were overfried, tough and chewy, the sauce way too sweet and my mashed potatoes were a modernized take I suppose, only slightly mashed with the bitter skins still on. Yuck.I dont mind paying top dollar for good food, but these dishes felt tortured and forced. There was nothing joyful or nurturing about it.I could have prepared these meals so much better, and I am nothing special in the kitchen. Come to think of it, I wish I had - At least Id have better memories of my birthday. :-(

I attended this restaurant on Sunday in Moreleta next to the hospital.It is beautifully set in a natural garden. Parking is excellent. Wheelchair friendly.The service is efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic - and quick : Waitrons seem to almost run to attend customers.Our group shared tappas. The food was excellent. We were first time diners. we will be back.

Dirty glasses and slow service... Saturday 11:00 - 16:00 - 8 adults and 4 kids ejoying a great time together with a few frustrations... Lovely setting and nice atmosphere....We had to send back our fresh drinks and fresh glasses a few times, as it had previous lipmarkings on and some looked like they were not washed at all... We even had to call management as every round had a few dirty glasses... Hope they sort that out soon.The service was extremely slow. The slowest waiter ever... The other waiters worked harder at our table and he was never to be found... The drinks took up to 20min to get to the table... A still water even longer... Our bill was around R3000.00 but could have been way more if the service was better...

Loved my vegetarian burger

Mmm, so wanted to like it, service is great, view, setting and decor are wow! But the food was only ok, the prawn, chorizo pizza was very good, the tapas were not great, salt & pepper calamari had no salt or pepper in the batter and were just little pieces of fried calamari, the caprese salad was 90% tomatoes, 3 tiny balls of mozzarella, no basil. And the truffle and Parmesan chips were oily and i didnt even get a hint of truffle. So yes a lovely social place to chill etc. But food wise only ok.

Nice open restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. There is a mountainbike route here as well as a cycle shop. The area is a green area within the city. They have good craft beer as well as a good variety of food on the menu. Their Pizzas is ok but the burgers are better.

Staff has zero regard for common decency. We called in advance to find out about their services and with them having knowledge of us planning to visit. Upon arrival they were fully booked. The least and most decent thing the staff could have done was to inform us when we phoned that they dit not have space or that we needed to make a booking. Obviously when you call you plan to visit.

Great outdoors seating area which is beautiful. The food is delicious! Not great for working as it is quite loud and there is always relatively loud music playing.

The food was good, just a bit expensive. The service was very slow, and if you want to watch any sport while eating then you shouldnt go there.

Great place for a beer after MTB or Trail running at Wolwespruit , or just anytime. They have great pizza and some wood fires to keep you warm inside and gas fired heaters for outside. There are also warm showers for when you want to stay longer after you Adventurous excursion. Prices are reasonable and variety is good. But service does take some time.

If you want coffee, rather just avoid this place.45 mins for a cuppacino, that is done in 3 sips.Dont know why they decided to change from a normal human sized cup to a glorified espresso cup.Maybe get a take away coffee before coming to eat here, least you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I have been regulars for the past year. It used to be such a great place. Sadly the same can’t be said now. The service is atrocious! For the past few times that we’ve gone to the restaurant we waited more than 20 minutes for one drink. To top it off, our order has not been correct either for the past three occasions. Customer service is definitely not a priority. We’ve asked the door lady multiple times to let us know when a table opens up outside. Every time we saw there was an open table and seated ourselves. Seriously, these are small, basic things we expect from a restaurant. We’ve even politely mentioned our concerns to one of the managers a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed. Sad to say we will no longer be regulars.

Made a booking with Charmaine/Chantal...not realizing one s supposed to receive an sms. 9 of us arrived there yesterday to hear that there was NO booking!! We tried to explain, but their only action was nonchalant hands in the air! No apology for misunderstanding. What a let down...thought the situation could have been handled so differently. Does the manager actually care?

Friendly service but the outside tables were not available due to Covid regulations when I asked. But sadly it seems they are only available for regulars or friends of the owner. You have to be connected to get a nice table outside.

Great food and service!

I have been to PLTFRM twice recently and was very dissatisfied with the lack of service. On the first occasion our food had not arrived an hour after we ordered and we ended up paying for it and leaving as we had other commitments.On the second occasion we were shown a table and no waiter attended to us for about 20min. We then left again with no one even bothering to ask what is wrong.Its not always been this way. Unsure what changed.

We went there for a brunch special that was advertised on their website which miraculously didnt exist when we got there. Some of the food we had was pretty average, so was the service. Their meat platter is probably the best thing to have of everything that we ate. They had live band playing, so if thats your thing you should check them out.

This is one of the best. Great vibe. Pet and kid freandly with the best food and cocktails. The owners are hands on. Awesome vibe.

Food is good, at reasonable prices, with a wide selection of local and international beers on tap. There is a play area for kids. Live music on weekends. The restaurant is also dog friendly, and the menu has a selection of treats/ snacks for your dog. Great place to come with kids.

Amazing pizza, friendly staff and management. Price is a bit in the upper range, but worth it. Go for a hike and have a beer afterwards. Hiking trial is beautiful, but has a couple of obstacles (which is the point if it is your thing)

Breakfast waffle with bacon and cheese was awesome. Setting is amazing.
