My burger tended to be quite salty including the sauces so I didnt enjoy it much but everyone enjoyed their mealBathrooms: easy access, beautiful restrooms, safe!Great for: birthdays, meet-ups, hanging out as friends...really lovely for all that.Overall: 4/5

Beautiful setting - the entire venue is too cool ! Cautious was a fanatic waiter who made sure we constantly had food and drinks on our table. We had a fantastic evening and wished we could have stayed later but curfew cut us short. Will definitely be returning soon!

The service was great with a smile. The menu has enough options. The restaurant is on the more expensive side but the portions are big. So I feel the price of the meals were justified. The vibe is good and the views and scenery is beautiful. I will most definitely go back!

Great vibe with amazing food.

Wow , what a gem of a place. From the lush gardens with the massive Cape Ash tree that is close to 300 years old, to the open, light and rustic feel of the restaurant. The food is also very special.. Everything was on point and delicious and the portions were generous. Staff were very friendly and well informed. Definitely my favorite restaurant so far in Pretoria. Highly recommended.

What a nice location for breakfast, it almost feels like you are far out of the city in the bush.We went for breakfast recently as we were looking for somewhere other than the obligatory mall restaurants and we were quite impressed.The venue is clean and looks modern but still welcoming.The menu had a good selection of breakfast items with meat lovers and vegetarian options. I chose their steak egg and chips and when it arrived I was quite pleased with the portion and the sauce was delicious, unfortunately the steak itself was a bit tuff..almost if it was more steamed than fried. My partner enjoyed everything about his veggie omlette.Our server was not the fastest but I appreciated that they dont keep interrupting your meal. The chef I believe also came by the table, not something you see much these days.The one annoyance however is that we were there a bit early and they were still moving tables and benches around us but this can be avoided if you get there maybe 30min later.All in all a good morning out.

I visited the Restaurant on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The venue is beautifully kept and has a very unique flair to it. The theme of pipes ranging from furniture to lighting is very cool. I liked the black cutlery. I had an omelette and it was good. The chocolate brownie milkshake is so good. Have it. No, dont have it. Yes, have it!

Awesome outdoor area and really good food. It can be a bit pricey but damn good bang for your buck! Staff are also very friendly. I will definitely me making plans to come back with friends

Always a great pleasure to dine here. Visited for a great breakfast this morning. Service was excellent and our waiter went all the extra miles with a smile. Just one reason why I return again and again. Great breakfast menu.

I took a business partner out for a quick lunch. We ordered a focaccia starter with extra feta. He ordered a pull pork burger and I ordered a chicken burger. While we were chatting a loud distortuon noise came over the speakers. The waitress informed us they were busy working on the sound system.☹ This carried on for a while. The the focaccia came - forgot the feta. 😡I said they dont need to remake just add the feta and heat a bit 8n the oven...dont like fridge cold feta on the bread. They brought it back without reheating.😡 The waitress then told them to remake it. After a long wait were we were wondering ehen our burgers will arrive the waitress informed us that the kitchen just informed her they did have pulled pork and can not make our burger. 🤬🤬This was a good 30- 40 min after ordering. Needless to say we left....still not having eaten ANYTHING😡😡🤬😡. They gave us our coke for free...so sorry they said.🤣

We picked Diep in die Berg as it was a very special occasion for us to dine where we knew that we will enjoy.TK, our Waiter, was friendly and very attentive to our needs.Having dinner by just ordering a variety of Starters is a magical journey on a culinary road, specifically here! Every dish was an experience of flavours. Tempura Prawns cooked to perfection, Wifey enjoying her Lamb Balls, stickey wings with honey & mustard basting, and many more.Management attending to all the customers were also very noticeable.Thank you TK for surprising us with the lovely Desert of Cheesecake to make our evening extra special.

We decided to go and celebrate a special day at the venue. The restaurant has a spacious, minimalistic, industrial look that goes well with the location and lush greenery. Ample seating available indoor, outside on a small terrace.It has a limited static menu with starter, main and dessert options; but the options sound decadent and mouth-watering. There is quite a variety of cocktails on their cocktail menu and their wine list is adequate, making me think it’s more of a hangout than an eatery.We had their Angus fillet and it was tender from the first to the last bite and eye pleasing presented. We tried their Green pepper as well as their Feta sauce and can recommend both.The only drawback for us that that we had a terrible waiter. We poured our own bubbly, when I wanted to discuss the doneness of the meat, he stated that he will be with us in a jiffy and then continued to serve the patrons outside. I switched food with my partner, as mine was more done than his, as we gave up waiting. I wanted to ask for a different spoon (for the dessert) but he continued to serve the patrons outside as the spoon smelled of egg (a terrible smell if you are eating).What was just terribly inconsiderate, not to mention irresponsible, is that none of your staff are wearing masks? With a pandemic raging, I honestly thought that there would be more consideration for the health and well-being of your staff, not to mention your patrons.Notwithstanding, we had a lovely evening and will go back to try some of the different items on the menu as there was sure some decadent items. Will just wait for Covid to pass.

Decent place to eat and have a nice time with good company. Try the crème brûlée platter for dessert...a must! Problems I experienced: the craft beers were warm, so you often order a drink and you have to settle for something else, unless you like warm beer on a hot summers eve. Also, I asked for a medium fillet, was overcooked. Wife asked for medium rare, also very overcooked, more like well done. Nothing to complain about, really. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go there again to try some more meals on the menu!

Even during a level 3 lockdown this was a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is very modern in style and has a great view outside. The waiters are prompt and friendly. The meals are delicious and wholesome. Great for friends and family!

Absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent and the atmosphere lively and happy. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The host of the restaurant was friendly and inviting. This place is fantastic for first dates, date nights and a good night out with friends or family. They can cater for very large groups. This is one place I would recommend.

It was just ok. I couldnt eat anything since they dont cater for the gluten free people. Also no plant based milk options... So just ok. Their services were good! Its ideal I guess if you dont have any allergies. Its nice and big and quite beautiful outside!

When I first found this restaurant about a year ago, I was so excited. Their service was great, their food (and pricing) was good, and the vibe was very chilled. I really enjoyed it and would take the family to eat there at least twice a month. We mostly choose to enjoy our meals outside on the deck, overlooking the lush garden - its the most beautiful scene. But during the last few visits, we got swamped by others cigarette smoke whilst eating breakfast and its really just killed the vibe for us and weve stopped going there. I did send them an email about this, suggesting they make a separate smoking section, or at least advise patrons that the whole of the outside area is a smoking section, but never got a response. Sadly one of the restaurants well be letting go.

We took my hubby for breakfast. It was really good. Everything is beautiful. Food was great and we had friendly service. Will definitely go again.

A nice and extended menu but the food served was average. We had a very friendly and helpful waiter but they got certain things wrong and the bill took ages to sort out. All and all not a bad experience but might not return.
