I always go there for most of my solo dates and it never disappoints, an amazing experience for sure. The food presentation is so professional, you practically eat with your eyes dreading to destroy the picturesque food. Upon indulging in the well prepared meal, its worth it, deliciousness. The service is cordial. Would definitely recommend it👌

This used to be a good place. Now it is just ridiculous. Today, they simply decided to open at 9h instead of 7h. Although 7h is even on their own website. The diversity of products is much less than it used to be. When you ask for a fresh orange juice, they dont have oranges. Freshly made bread spreads and pesto sometimes date from two weeks ago or just have gone bad. I cannot recommend this bakery anymore.

Its a very good idea but the way it has been managed is terrible and here is why, first the way they serve coffee or tea, the cups are hideous, you cant even pick these cups with comfort, a shop like this should have mugs with much bigger handles for more comfort, the seats are beyond bad, they are so hard, after just 10 minutes your bum starts to hurt, they should have a leat soft cushion to make it a little comfortable, then comes the service itself, I see they bake fresh croissant but they will only serve the cold and very hard ones, makes you thing what is the point of all this bakery and baking.

He offered me a cup of cappuccino to sit and enjoy my piece of cake.I had the best customer service from Warren, and he appreciated my feedback regarding the cake.

Nice place. big, lots of space, was very busy but its cold so everybody was in side. well prepared foods. big portions. great menu. personally to much fat on the bacon and mrs balls would not be happy that there is a substitute in her branded bottles..but still enjoyed it. lots of pastries.

Specially came to the Grove Fournos for cappuccino and cake and the doughnuts we ordered were stale. As a bakery I find this exceptionally disappointing as one expects fresh products every day. This was at 11am so more than enough time to have baked fresh. ☹️

Dirty mugs and when you order something on the menu they do not have it in stock. You ask for well done eggs then you get soft to a rare eggs, I mean what is the point in telling the waiter soft, medium or well done eggs? Spinach is not rinsed off and still taste like ground. Absolutely dissapointed.

Was there yesterday. The waiter was incompetent. Told me I could put the cherry tomatoes from my salad into my omelette. Clearly he wasnt listening to me & misunderstood. I WANTED BACON & CHERRY TOMATOES IN THE OMLETTE. I ordered apple juice, my friend made the suggestion of cranberry, so HE decided on that after I asked for apple. Again, he wasnt listening to me. We sat there what felt like hours after our meal was done waiting for some sort of attention or him asking if the meal was good, that never came. I had to flag him down just to get the bill. Another epic mishap! He asked for a tip after his pathetic service. I usually enjoy breakfasts there because the food is amazing but the staff lately, definitely below standard. It seems they have no idea what the hell they are serving or whats in the restaurant to begin with. Sad experience for a place that always had excellent service, in the past

I definitely will not come back! Ive just been to the ice cream counter at Del fournos and the assistant was extremely unfriendly and not attentive to my family and I at all. To make matters worse, the Stracciatella ice cream we had ordered had gone off. It was extremely sour and unpleasant. Definitely money wasted.

The bakery always has great, freshly baked bread and pastries. We went for breakfast and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The waiter was slow and inattentive. Half an hour after ordering I was informed that the chicken livers I had ordered were not available. Surely this could be communicated early? We then received half our meals before the others arrived later - everything was cold. We won’t be going back there again and also won’t recommend it to others.

Toasted sarmies on whole wheat were great. Baritsa is a cool guy, but his trainer knows very little about making a cappuccino, and have no idea what a flat white is.

Stopped here to get a quick sandwich on my lunch break. Everything was fresh and healthy ingredients. Attention to detail with the on-the-go packaging. I would happily go back. Looked like they serve ice-cream and cakes and there is a big sit down restaurant/coffee shop area with good natural lighting.

Very disappointed. Bought an Italian bread there today, which was cut and packed in a plastic bag. When we ate it when we got home, we found that it was not fresh and was probably baked the day before. Just wish Fournos would put a date stamp on the plastic packaging so that I can know whether the bread is fresh or not.

Chocolate Cookies are stale but edible.Chocolate brownies are lackluster, has nuts in if anyone wants to know. The icing used on top is hard and tasteless.However their milk tart is very good.

Consistently good quality and a vast variety of baked goods, tea and coffee as well as light meals. Pleasant, welcoming vibe, nice for kiddies and families. Straightforward to reach if one parks on the upper level. However there is a corrugated iron walkway which blocks any outlook over the car park and beyond and is an eyesore. Hopefully temporary.

Our waiter was Kevin and he was so attentive, friendly, well mannered and certainly an asset for the company. It was an excellent experience having Kevin as our waiter! He’s to be commended.

Always exceptional food and coffee here. Had the whole extended family here and we all had a very good brunch. Excellent chicken livers in mustard sauce! Bought some nice take-away baking. I find the quality to be high and the price very affordable.

Fantastic restaurant! The owner is great, full of life and happiness, always smiling and making sure all his guests are happy. The food is brilliant, wholesome, full of flavor and well presented. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful; and they brought the food pretty quickly even though they were quite busy. Highly recommend this for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee! The coffee is lovely as well Illy coffee if Im not mistaken.

I bought a chicken pie, cheese pie and petite four. The only thing I would eat again here is the cheese pie. The chicken pie had a total of 2 cubes of chicken. The rest of the pie was filled with a paste of sorts. The petite four is supposed to be made with Marzipan - it was just coated in icing. A real rip off to say the least. Very disappointing...

I bought a cake there on Friday, I normally buy my carrot cake from fournos bakery in Irene centurion. The cake taste good as always but the service I recieved from the cashier “Pamela” was just awful, teach your staff to treat people equally no matter what the skin colour may be.

Ive been there three times in a row now that they did not have beesting in store. A menu item as per there staff. Apparently always sell out on Saturdays and then they do not remake for Sunday. Maybe make more for Sunday clientele. Fortunately I found another bakery in Menlyn retail park that always have beesting in stock and dare I say beter tasting.

Menu is Lacking vegetarian variety, but they are extremely flexible. Best vegetarian wrap!! Thank you for accommodating me
