Fresh and delicious food. Friendly service. Outside seating available. Unfortunately smokers at the adjacent table spoiled the experience. Local South African dishes like pap in a potjie, kaiings and boerewors on the menu. Just didnt like the fact that I had to pay R30 extra when I requested Ciabatta instead of white bread, as toasted sandwiches are already not cheap. Nor the fact that there was a charge for the buffet breakfast for 6 people added to our bill and when I requested a new bill with our correct charges it was met with excuses. A 10% tip charge is automatically added to the bill, which lifts eyebrows. More so, when a tip is based on how the patron experiences the service. This tip was too added to my takeaway bill and again R30 per sandwich added for Ciabatta.

Friendly people, good food well priced. Children friendly establishment. Interesting shops around the restaurant. I can definitely recommend this venue. Enjoyed the nursery as well, very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Lovely place and friendly staff. The quality of food is good with a nice selection to choose from.I absolutely adore restaurant’s with a wood oven for pizza’s but one thing I do not appreciate is when the toppings are hidden under the under the cheese like how the franchise Pizza Perfect does it. Perhaps it’s not the case but I feel like it’s a technique to skimp on toppings.The staff are friendly but expect slow service, perhaps this is because they are aware of the fact that their tip is already included in the bill.Regardless, the environment is relaxing and peaceful.Note: they have a play area and smoking areas are also available.

We did not eat at the Green Olive,we were at the nursery next door,my partner who has been there previously showed me around,nice tranquil surroundings,little shops that you can browse around in.Next time will try out the menu.

The international size of a taco is 8 inches. This place sells 2 inch tacos with no mention that you are buying mini foods on the menu, its not even listed as a starter. If that kind of deceit is any indication, I would not trust the other items on the menu. There is no truthful size comparison on the menu, and the food was underwhelming. Go for the view and only that. Also, they will try to reply with snarky sarcasm and use a phrase to sound smart by repeating Im sure. Your tacos are filled with lies, dishonour on you.

Most tasty quiche I have tasted for a while. Lovely to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the early spring weather with friends and interesting conversation.

We had a leasurely lunch under a tree with splashes of sunshine gracing the lawn around us. Food was outstanding. Service good. Relaxed and earthy. Decor gems soothes the creative soul in you.

Nice for families with kids. A free book shelf where you can take books for free and donate books. Lots of little specialist shops and adjacent to a great plant nursery. Buffet breakfast has a good enough selection and my simple omelette was well prepared. Good coffee too!

Excellent place to have a meal in a quite relaxed garden environment and also visit a well layedout nursery with a wide range of plants at competitive prices. Good place for wheelchair access in the restaurant garden & also caters for youngsters.

We havent had much off their menu, but we do pop in every now and again for a plate of chips with their amazing dip sauce and their epic Turkish delight milkshake. Prices may be a bit high, but definitely getting good quality for your bucks.Love the outdoor garden setting.

Loveley place to visit with friends and family with children. The food is delicious and the fact that you can order either from the menu or have the buffet make it much easier for everyone. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Nice place to visit. However the waiter can maybe inform the guests that the tip is already included in the bill whether you are 2 or 20. People are used to tip included for groups as indicated on the menu. It is as if they trying to get more by keeping quiet while the menu is already a little pricey. But still its your personal choice....just saying...😑

Outdoor area of restaurant is really great and covid friendly. Where we sat there was at least 3-4m between us and other parties. Beautiful surroundings and fantastic food (real value for money). Also a huge fan of the nursery and Oom Gerrie

Service was a bit slow due to mothers day rush but it was worth it for the flapjacks and atmosphere. Larger seeing aria is outside so if you are prone to get cold easily bring a jacket.

The tea garden and restaurant is set in a beautiful country setting under large trees. The menu offers a large variety, from light meals to full lunches. All the food is freshly prepared and the portions are very generous. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The adjoining nursery is worth the visit if youre looking for something new for your garden.

Nice setting and food well priced. Unfortunately the breakfasts are not up to par. My omlette was overcooked and leathery and my wifes breakfast was mediocre at best. This can be fixed without too much effort as everything else was on point, including the service~

The food and the service was really awesome. Just a pity that smokers are allowed outside which makes the experience a bit yucky for non smokers. I have nothing against smokers just a problem with their smoke all over my family and food.

Tranquil peaceful

Staff are so friendly and helpful.

You will find any and all kinds of succulents in the nursery and so much more. The restaurant has ample shade under large trees and kids can play freely. We enjoyed our meal which was served within 15 minutes even though a lot of people attending the succulent show had sat down for supper as well. Restaurant and nursery staff is tops.
