I cant say much, but I can say this:One of the places where the food is worth your money. They have some great specials as well! Good service and friendly staff.Definitely worth a try...

Well well well the country side never ceases to amaze me! Hidden in the most quiet of places is a lovely restaurant/pub. They serve lovely food. Yesterday they had a special on steaks and good grief they were huge. They close earlier on Sundays which is a pity as it really was nice sitting under the lovely big trees with the kids playing. But I guess we all need some time off and so do they! It is far out from Jhb but well for the Pretoria folks it could be a good idea to head out there for good food and a couple of drinks. My only thing I found was not too good was the garden. They could make it really nice. They also had a road leading to the staff facilities which could be cleaned up nicely. Also they could make a few more play areas for the kids with slides and swings etc. I will post a picture of the place when we go there again.

Mixed review... The food is really great, the ambiance just as excellent, prices are good. The only thing the service is dog slow and they get orders wrong, but spectacularly wrong. If they get this right, theyll be worth 5 stars

Went there on 24th November. Waited more than 2 hours for food. When asked for manager he was very arrogant. Waiter tried her best though.Owner needs to speak to Manager

Great bushveld pub. One of my favorite spots. The food is really nice and service very good. Platter really tasty and good value for money. Will definitely recommend visiting for a lekker pub lunch or dinner with the wife.

It was a very bad experience. We arrived just after 19:00 and myson finally received his burger at 22:20. The medium rare steak that was ordered arrived beyond well done. They must decide if they must decide if they want to be a pub or a restaurant. Will not see me again soon.

After much hype on Facebook we decided to make the trek to go and see this place.It is difficult to give this place 2 stars because it definitely has something to work with. The setting is great and the views are perfect.But I guess I was expecting more at the end of the day, the hype of Facebook was similar to that of Bosvelder. I thought I would get the same feel from this little pub in the middle of nowhere.However we were let down, the pork special left much to be desired and was chewy and tough. The burger was a pre-made patty probably from a frozen batch.I dont want to beat this place down but like one review said decide if you want to be a pub or a restaurant. And if you do want to take yourself to the next level, take some tips from Bosvelder.Otherwise I really do hope you guys do better as you have an absolute gem of place considering you just down the way from Roodeplaat.

Had no good experience of them. Everything you order on the menu is not available. Then when you do get something it is of that nature you just cant get it eaten. Brought it to managements attention with an email and gave me contact details and received no feedback after a week after reading the email. Extremely poor service if you want something to eat.
