I highly recommend this restaurant! I have been there severally and find myself coming back for more…with good reason.🤗The service was excellent, the food delicious and the setting absolutely lovely. For Prosecco lovers, the restaurant serves bottomless glasses on Tuesdays to Thursdays and Saturdays in the afternoon.

Best thing about the restaurant is the location and the surrounding with beautiful view at the golf course. Food was below average in my opinion. Flavours did not match for some reason and the presentation was poor. Definitely not good value for money

Had a great meal here with an amazing view over the golf course. The service was great. The food was excellent. Definately not a cheap eat but also not overly expensive. I can really recommend this place to anyone

The wine list was disappointing at first blush, but the Proseco, red and white we chose were quite nice!Service was disappointing, especially during the early phases of the evening.Wine prices are typical,and maybe on the low side. The food is more pricey, but for the serving sizes and quality represents good value.

Great setting and atmosphere. My fiance had a lovely piece of lamb. Cheese sauce was great. Waitress taking drink orders was lovely. I ordered my steak and it just had a burnt taste to it. I expected far better quality based on the reviews and prices. Oh wells.

Decided to try out Blu Saffron for a birthday dinner. Reserved a table outside and specifically mentioned that it is for a birthday. The view was exquisite (view of the spectacular golf course). This is where the fun began. After 15 mins of waiting for someone to assist, I went to one of the hostesses to find out who is serving us. Places drink orders and it was brought to our table in a reasonable time. Starter orders were taken (springbok carpaccio and duck pâté). Both starters were good. After a while our mains orders were taken (Blu Rump and Oven Roasted Pork Neck). The rump was cooked to perfection, can’t say the same about the pork neck. It was more on the tough side and the flavours did compliment each other. Not recommended from my side. I’ve been to other restaurants where if you mention that it is a birthday dinner, they will make it special for the birthday person. Did not happen tonight...

I used to love Blu Saffron, but I was quite disappointed last week...they are normally very expensive, but now I found them stingy.as well... we paid R210 for a piece of meat...without any sides. Everything was extra...and I had a soup...small bowel for R75...without any type of bread... I also dont like the idea of walking through the smoking area to get to the outside tables..

Really amazing fine dining. Social atmosphere without any of the usual stuffiness. All our courses where phenomenal and we ended off with some great coffee and whisky at the trendy bar

What a mash up..Service was extremely good..Cant fault it at all..Wish I could say the same for the food..The prawn cocktail was mediocre..A memory from the 70s as it was then..The prawn tempura was good..The duck was so dry it was inedible.. And the sauce it was served with was so sickly sweet, it actually made it worse..The lamb shoulder was cooked very well, but again the mint sauce was sickly sweet..Potatoes werent crispy and lacked salt, and the creamed spinach was mediocre..Not worth R3600 for 4 people for a Sunday lunch.

Expensive. Service is great and the specials are read to you personally and any questions answered wittily before your meal. But that is not enough to justify the hefty surcharges for basic sides. Food is of high quality and choices are plentiful but the presentation is not on par with price anymore.

The service is extraordinary and the food is great . People who aspire to owning or working in a fine dining restaurant should take note of how the managers describe the daily specials

Had a lovely evening. Starters and mains were amazing. Desert was a bit lackluster as the Ferrero Rocher Mousse was more like a chocolate cheese cake than a mousse and was still frozen in the middle. The chocolate ganache on top also tasted a bit burned. But other than that, great service. Will go again.

Superb service and the food is divine. The Kudu fillet in particular is amazing. Pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and a more sophisticated crowd. All round amazing experience. Staff is very friendly an courteous and a special thanks to the manager that makes a special effort to make sure everything is perfect. Food is absolutely top class. If you havent been, you wont be sorry.

Nice meals and good company

The food was lovely! The service was excellent. I enjoyed every second. The only thing I could complain was that the one waiter spilled some sauce on me when serving the main course and there was a mix up with the side I ordered. This was however resolved instantly and Id definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone up for a treat!
