Absolutely love this place. My dogs are well looked after, get personal attention and have so much fun playing while here. Even for weekends away, Canine Kids is the only place Ill trust to look after my dogs for a night or two. Highly highly recommend.

Let me start with this, I am not someone who applauds a fish for swimming, so for me to be impressed with anyone’s work and service it truly has to be beyond and above. We enrolled our fur baby at Canine Kids in November 2020, We needed our baby to have friends to play with, to have running space during the day, and most importantly we needed a place where we would know that no matter what, it will be taken seriously that this fur baby is not just a dog but our child, therefore we needed to know where he stays during the day when we are at work that the care, the love, and attention he will get will be of the highest quality and that we can continue our workday knowing our child is truly well taken care of.From getting hourly updates about the dogs playing and their eating times, the fast responses on anything you want to see or know at any moment ( if you are like me, the paranoid mother ) Well the communication is amazing, I wish more companies could have this type of communication, We get videos and photos of everything happening hourly and it is so amazing, When you walk in there the first person you will most likely meet is Barnett, Now once you get to know Barnett a bit you know that your child is safe no matter what, From Jolandi the owner to Barnett ( the school principal ) to all the workers who work there, they are absolutely amazing beyond amazing, how they know each dog and its personality and how they love them so much that some days my child doesn’t even want to come home For the health care part I can say that with the vet right next to them and the vet knowing the school very well, You can be rest assured that if anything should ever happen your baby will get immediate care, If your baby so much as looks sad, Barnett will let you know immediately If your baby looks ill in any matter Barnett will let you know immediately, the love they all have for our fur babies and the care they give from top to bottom is what all mother’s expectations are for a school and even so much more.To Canine Kids, Jolandi, Barnett, and all the workers we as mothers for our child want to say thank you, you have all exceeded our expectations for the daily care of our child and we will most definitely recommend Canine Kids to everyone, from our side they are truly amazing.

Canine Kids is our dog Luna’s second home - she gets to hang out with all of her (human and canine) friends, gets loads of attention, and if we need to leave town she has a safe and happy place to stay over too. We get updates throughout the day to show us how she’s doing and make us miss her (just a little) less. Luna has been going to daycare twice per week for almost as long as this wonderful daycare has been open, and she is STILL excited every time we take her. She is a happy socialised rescue that now gets along with everyone and is never home alone for too long. We would never have been able to have a dog with full-time jobs and a small apartment without this wonderful place. HIGHLY recommend ❤️

Canine kids has been so great for our dog in terms of socialization, and being able to do sleepovers whilst not having to worry when traveling regularly. The dogs play freely in the yards under the great supervision of the care takers, who manage the introductions among the dogs so well. It’s done wonders for us with a dog who suffers from separation anxiety. I don’t know what we would do without Canine Kids!

Ivar was a rescue and initially quite skittish around other dogs. Since starting at Canine Kids, he has become much more friendly and playful. His life is now busy and filled with excitement and exercise. Much better than sitting at home all day! Jolandi and the team are amazing and Im so very grateful to them and the awesome service they provide.P.S. Jolandi always has our babies best interests at heart, often sending out relevant pest info and how to keep our dogs safe. She sends personal videos of milestones, for instance- the first time Ivar got into the pool. She is definitely a huge dog lover and an absolute star for doing what she does!

My furbaby goes to Canine Kids twice a week and she always comes home tired and happy. I receive videos and pictures of her and the other dogs playing, swimming and sleeping throughout the day. Im very grateful that my dog can go to a loving and safe environment while I am at work.

I share the same sentiments as another reviewer Leriche Van Der Berg. The owner, Jolandi Maré, has a clear ignorance, bias and bitterness towards the pit bull breed. We inquired regarding our 10 month old puppy pit bull and 12 month old staffie to stay over at Canine Kids. There were absolutely no problem or concerns raised with our staffie, however our 10 month old pit bull puppy (which is vaccinated, spayed, chipped, successfully completed puppy and obedience class) was an immediate issue. She informed me that they do not take pit bulls, but she will have a look at our pit bull, (again no mention of the staffie here). This perplexed me as on the Canine Kids website she boldly states: I have a great passion and love for dogs...I felt I had to get clarity on the matter before going any further with the inquiry. According to Jolandi, pit bulls have uncontrollable and malicious trigger points (verbatim quote of Jolandi). When I asked her to provide me with empirical or scientific data to support this statement, the only rhetoric she had was to state that her dog has been bitten by a pit bull and another lady form a animal rescue center warned her against the dangers of pit bulls. She insisted on this point even after a telephonic conversation with her to try and enlighten her that she is perpetuating the stigma of certain breeds even though she and her business is self-proclaimed dog-lovers. She then commented that I should open my own daycare where I can let pit bulls be welcomed. This is just so disgusting. It is 2020. It takes but a mere Google scholar search to find readily available scientific and factual information regarding the ethology and epidemiology of canine aggression. Also, the American Temperament Test Society provides empirical evidence regarding dog breeds. If Jolandi reads this review, I will leave her with a quote of Martin Luther King Jr. Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.
