I bought Beef briyan at Parkview Tranna on 17 Sep 21. It was stale and did not have salt or taste. I was told to pay cash too for R94. Who does that π³
Absolutely awesome Indian. By far the best in Pretoria!
We ordered two highly overpriced (compared to what we received) mutton bunny chows for take away at Wonderboom, first of all we got stale brown bread (who serves a bunnychow with brown bread???), the mutton was flavorless and a non-existing aroma in the sauce.Secondly, your spicy chips were disgusting.
Delicious, tasty Indian Food.Friendly service by Talha and team.
We were so disappointed. Yesterday we had a beef and chicken breyane. Before we got home one if the side sauces lids popped off in the plastic bag. Later to find its brewing. The breyane and rice was so dry and tasteless. What a waste of money.
Best Butter Chicken we have ever had! This restaurant is amazing!
My wife had a bunny chow and I had a chicken curry. We shared. This two meals was enough for 4 people. And so tasty. I love my curry and eat it everywhere. I have never tasted something thus delicious. Thanks guys. Food was awesome and service and speed of delivery outstanding.
Worst curry in gauteng. Naan so tough you cant even cut it with your knife. Korma was just sweet. Chicken was tougher than the lamb.... how? All the dishes was just vile. Never in my life again
What a rip off R156 for a lamb korma ask for hot it came just sweet ,it came in a small aluminum container with a few pieces of very dry lamb rice was not cooked properly will never see me again
I just love this food!!! Good service and excellent food. One of my favourite take away places thank you!!
Food is not bad. - Just not a very hygienic place.
Good spicy Indian food at a decent price. The food is okay and the price is not expensive but its also not cheap. Overall its nice restaurant for take aways if youre in the mood for some nice Indian food.
The best Indian food in the country!
LAKEVIEW.πβ Went for a Bunny Chow at 3pm today & found the Curry sweet & tasteless of Curry & Bread stale! When I told the Manager who was very uninterested, he assured me the sweetness was the onions!!! I also got charged R26,00 each (X2) for a small tin Coke!!! I was not given a receipt and did not ask for one because I had already decided to send you this... Wont be going back to Any Tranna Restauarants but WILL be sharing this with others from here on out! π
The lack of CURRY would be the least. The food is really bad. I will never support this place. Sadly to say it was the first time and expected more due to the location and price of the food.Portions are way too small, no aroma, no flavour. No curry. Is there even an Indian working there? If so then go home and get some inspiration.
The lamb korma was nearly half bones. And at R150 a portion I am very disappointed. It seems as time goes on the quality is deteriorating. No email address to send in a complaint with photos I have. The chicken korma has massive chunks of chewy chicken. I used to love it as a treat, now its just terrible.
Load shedding forced us to go out and i am glad it did! Curries was great and the Naan second to none!
Delicious! We had the butter chicken, lamb special and paneer korma. All very nice. The garlic naan also delicious. Only inconvenience was the lack of coffee and only cash payment. We will definitely return.
Food is great! And the manager is awesome
The worst Briyani Iβve ever had. Infact, Iβve had a better briyani ready meal from Woolworths. Iβm not sure why this restaurant is rated so highly... definitely wont be going back
Delicious Chicken Tikka Masala! Always the best!
Their chicken korma and lamb biryani is deliciousπ€
Used to eat /buy take aways a lot, but we now only buy birjani and naan as these are still nice. We found during the past 2 years that meat is tasteless. They probably cook all the meat plain and just add sauce as you order. When I asked the manager at Parkview he didnt disagree and said they always do it in the same manner. 3 other couples we know that also used to eat at silver lakes branch agreed that food is not the same any more and stopped going there
Good authentic Indian food. The butter chicken is excellent.
First time at Tranna Parkview & certainly not my last; perfect way to end my 45th birthday! Our family of 5 ordered Beef Samoosa, Garlic Naan, Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Makhnie (butter chicken), Lamb Kadai & Paneer Korma. Food was nicely presented in bowls by Ali (the manager); there was more than enough, the flavours were great. Perhaps a bit pricy for a take away establishment (there is seating for about 15 persons inside), but overall a great experience.
Good indian food. However, the chicken breyani has less potatoes and chicken. But on the upside, there is a lot of rice.
Service was awesome and food was great!!
4 people 3 main courses. Mild is not hot at all, Medium is good for all, Hot is very hot. We had extra garlic Naan. Food was awesome in flavour and with Naan was more than enough. Will return several times!
Bunny flavourfull but too sweet
Waited 50 minutes for an order. The shop was busy. But the person at the cashier takes more and more orders , he tells the uber delivery driver everytime 5 minutes, but he lies. Will not support this place at all
Food is ALWAYS delicious and people always friendly.
Good food
I ate chicken corma at Wonderboom yesterday. My wife only at the sauce and rice. My kids were at grand parents and ate something else. My wife was sick last night; Im still sick.....
Great Indian food and friendly staff. Loved it!
Tried the mutton bunny, first of all there wasnt enough curry in the bunny, it was completely tasteless and it was super over priced. Would not recommend.
Good food, good service.
I ordered takeaways here once before and they were fantastic. This time very disappointing and they made me sick
Great food good service. excellent.
I feel Tranna at Parkview needs a 2 star rating. Once I was chewing on a piece of plastic in one of their curries.
We had the Korma tonight and it was just sweet with no heat. Had much better from the branch in Johannesburg
Food average but the service was great.
Food is overpriced, service is very average
These guys make the very best take-away curry. The perfect choice for rainy, overcast or winter days!
Best food delicious in every sense of the word with exciting flavours
Just awful now! Rather drive to the Hazeldean branch in Silver Lakes. Itβll be worth the trouble.
Usually find the food to be decent however tonights take away was unsatisfactory. Overcooked veggies. The yellow daal was too salty and runny. The service was slow.
Excellent, fresh and reasonably priced sushi.
Cheap and cheerful Indian curry shop
The worst lamb bunny ever, bread was stale, curry was terrible. Bread ended up soggy. Chicken samoosas were badly made, terribly seasoned.God I miss Durban right now, you people dont know what a decent curry is. Panaji in Durban North is excellent.
Amazing food and friendly service
Great food, They also cater for vegans too..
Tranna Parkview used to be our favorite Indian restaurant. Unfortunately the food is below average now. On 2 occasions it tasted like the meat was off, distinct sour taste.
More bread than food not tasty at all
Best Curry in Pretoria
Pathetic customer service. Food was teribble .
This is now our Friday evening spoil. Food excellent four times in a row.
The person who answered the phone had poor manners, and the naan was stale and chewy.
There good close to early on the q
Great food. Will be back
Bone-in lamb is superb.
Food very oily and has cockroaches in it.Tried calling no answer at restuarant

Good indian food
Tranna never lets you down.
Food was really great
Vegetarian starters always overcooked, chicken is tasteless and dry and the lamb korma tastes like cream!
Found a piece of electrical cord in my Chicken Korma
