Really friendly service, with various workstations for one on one assistance. I enquired about a RC vehicle that they do not know of support directly, but received friendly and informed advice.Ill most certainly be taking this vehicle to them for expert advice at the in-store service desk

Nice variety of models and toys. Their collection of 1:18 scale cars was a little disappointing but their service is very good and they try to source whatever youre looking for if they dont stock it.Their location is quite convenient and there is plenty parking outside to choose from. They take what they do seriously, so you can rest assured you will get top notch friendly service. The salesman that assisted me was helpful and courteous at all times and professional. If you havent been there yet, its worth a visit.

Recently bought a DIY Minature house set that was about R150 more expensive then online stores but I felt its important to support local shops. When I got home I saw the glue was open in the packet. I called to ask what now and I was told to go buy my own glue. We usually Love to browse without someone asking if they can help every 2 minutes that alone makes me want to support online again. Will not be recommending this place to my gaming circle.

Jix has the widest range of modeling paints that I know of in the country, besides all the modeling tools available for purchase. Such a nice hobby shop. My teen son love going there on a regular basis. They have amazing board games, puzzles, and a whole lot more. They host workshops where a group comes together and play board games, or learn to paint those very tiny mini figures etc etc. The service is really friendly and helpful.

I am really impressed with the service from Jix Hobbies. They have the biggest variety on parts for my specific hobby and no one could beat them when it comes to that. Believe me I have been shopping around. Their website is user-friendly and once ordered, they delivered my orders extremely fast. The prices are competitive and the owner goes out of his way to assist. This is my second dealing with the shop, but I will from now on make this my primary shop for anything hobby related.

From puzzles to board games, rc cars to model vehicles and everything in between.An upstairs area for playing any tabletop games is welcome and good use of space.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable to assist with any hobby questions or needs.

I didnt have a problem getting the models and stuff. I do have a problem, because i spent over 300 rand on paints and it doesnt work on tamiya products. Workers told me to get Ammo paint, despite me telling them that from what i have heard, only tamiya paint works on their stuff. It was suppose to be a present for myself, but all it became was a big misery. The models are good no doubt, but seriously, ask online about this stuff, since pp online know more than the ppl that run these places

I visited the shop a few years ago and was not impressed. Well, it is now a lot better! The selection of stuff is mind boggling. Prices seems to be average to good. The staff is friendly and they are passionate about the products which helps as they are able to inform. A nice experience!

I could find parts for a very old R/C model I revived for my son and had a nice chat with the owner who is very keen to help and knows everything about everything in the hobby business. The prices are also very market related. The shop is neat and easy to browse.

Friendly service and a variety of stock. Any dream for a plastic model enthusiast. From plastic models such as planes and tanks and most of the scales that you could want up to different types of paints and in different colors. 10/10 and would recommend to visit if you are searching for your next model to build or want to stock up on some moddeling supplies.
