It was n bit cold in the room. Air-conditioning will be appreciated.

The place is peaceful, beautiful and a fresh breathe. The facilities, the garden is do beautiful.

With covid 19 many amenities not available but staff should prepare for people, like switch on geysers, tell them rooms wont be cleaned place enough coffee, tea etc for duration of stay. Breakfast 2 slices brown bread, egg and dry sausage prepared by person not wearing cloves or hair net or sober. Big No

Not a good place to visit in winter, their ceramic wall heaters are not nearly enough for a cold night, the lighting on the alleyways is also not good enough at night, I fell going to my room

Schoongezicht is a very pleasant stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value.

The receptionist was not really welcoming. I felt like this B&B should be graded with a 2 star because I did not receive the 4star services from them.My night rest was also not peaceful, there just too many noises throughout the night.

Ive been visiting Schoongezicht Guest House a number of times in the past months and can highly recommend them.The rooms are always clean and neat and the personnel always friendly.Vegans - pay attention - you are catered for here. My wife and I had to switch to a Vegan lifestyle and found that the Schoongezicht Guest House Chef had no problem accommodating our specific dietary requirements with enthusiasm. To the personnel of Schoongezicht Guest House that we often interact with, i.e. the friendly guys at reception, the very capable Chef, the friendly Waiter - thank you, we appreciate your friendly and professional attitude and service.Jan Mouton

Great experience !!! Lovely ambiance, spacious and neat rooms. Breakfast was full of variety even for vegetarians. All staffs were very humble and took good care of me. The manager was very much polite, sweet and ready for help anytime. Special thanks to all guest house staffs and all the best !!!

Pictuarisk garden cozy rooms

I attended a course through UP there and have to say that the staff are even better organised than the staff of UP itself. The place is kept very neat, there is ample parking space, staff are friendly and helpful and the food... Better than most restaurants! Only wish I could have stayed there as I suspect the accommodation may be just as good. 4 stars only because I didnt have the whole experience and cant comment on the rooms.

Great guest house experience. The staff from the manager down to every employee treated us great throughout our week here. Breakfast was great every morning with a taste of local cuisine and dinner was some of the best Ive had in South Africa at very reasonable prices.

I attended a course through UP there. Food was great. Bathroom doors and the soap dispenser in the one venue need to be fixed. Cutlery and dishes not always clean.

I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone. My colleagues and I, about 15 or more people, sleep for 2 two nights and all of us realized that they dont change towels and the linen in almost every room has stains, mostly blood stains. Duvets are so outdated and very dirty. There is so much dust on the headboards and side lamps. Some wall plugs are not working... I wouldnt come back here even if its for free. 2018/08/07

Outdated rooms. Dirty bathroom and linen. The pillows were smelly and old. The staff is unfriendly. The conference facility could be better organized. Will not recommend this place.

Attended a Tukkies grad-school course here. The good: meal were excellent canteen fair, even the vegetarian meal was excellent.

I was there just for conference and the facility was adequate for small and medium size gatherings. I toured a couple of rooms though and I would use them if I needed accomodation.

Shower door falling off its hinges, bathroom door didnt close, pillows were terrible but well equipped with fridge and microwave TV and safe.
