Worse place ever. The staff are outside making noise at this time 12am couldnt sleep. Tv in my room is not working reported it earlier they told me that someone will come at 5pm to fix it since..They love money eish

Overall it was a nice and quiet place. Its clean and there is safety. If youre planning to stay for more than one day it would be a problem because if its self catering but no fridge. Also the bed is a bit too noisy. I generally enjoyed my night though.

Worst place. Not at all what it looks like on the photos. And the new name is movesto. They scream money for everything. Theres no washing machine or kitchen, no towels or anything. Theres a excuse for a kettle. Which is on floor. And the place stinks.

This place is very dirty the stuff is noisy The kitchen is filthy dirty. The rooms are nice and big but they need someone who can clean the place properly. The was a bad odour in the shower. The area is great.

I was very happy about the friendly staff members, however my stay was awful. The carpets were absolutely soaked, the room had a bad smell because of the wet carpet. In this cold we couldnt were socks as this got wet. There were no towels available, no toilet paper and this made our stay just unpleasant. I think for the amount i paid for the room i received. I was definitely over charged.Very unhappy.

Had a pretty cool stay there. They received me and my partner on short notice. Rooms were pristine and a serene environment. Loved room number 5. Great guy working at the reception during evenings.

I had booked their Brooklyn Guest house and got there to be told tge place is fully booked and was moved to Waterkloof. Wouldnt say its good value for money because of lack of admin and customer service

I made a booking 3 days in advance but when I get there they said it was full.

The stay was bad, I checked out after an hour of being there, the mattress was smelly, like wet smelly socks, as if something was dying in the room. The staff was unfriendly and not willing to help and put their best foot forward, and we have to pay for that, will never go back

There werent any bedside lamps. The linen was mismatched and dirty - you could smell the previous persons scent. The carpets are very dirty. There was only one extra blanket in a room with two beds. The wasnt any toilet paper in the bathroom and the towels were rough to the touch and were torn. It was just a uncomfortable stay overall.

Good location. However lack basic things in room like mirror and dressing table or even just shelf near plugs. This is spacious room and there is space for the above. Broken item (ottoman) can be removed.

Good place to stay. Direction not very good. No notice boards on side street.

Luckily we only stayed there for one night. While we were sleeping someone with a key to our room unlocked the door and bombarded in. The bedding was old and horrible. The carpet was grossly dirty. In the morning the water was on and off and we couldnt shower. Even for the price this place is not to be recommended.

Appealing on outside, thats it. The room i booked was not the one on arrival. The gentlemen at reception was more concerned about himself than accommodating me the guest who had been told at check in to pay more. Service not up to standard very disappointing. Rooms were dusty, not cleaned properly, TV only played 1 channel with a permanent error message displaying. No side lamps for night reading. Bathrooms dont have little soaps to wash hands. Rooms not sound proof. We could hear every single sound from people walking up and down the stairs the whole night. Overall not a good experience!!

WHAT A GHASTLY EXPERIENCE! We arrived at the time we had booked to check in ONLY TO GET TOLD THAT THEY ARE FULLY BOOKED AND HAVE GIVEN OUR ROOM AWAY. THE GUY AT RECEPTION MADE IT SOUND LIKE IT WAS OUR FAULT! HE WAS RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!WHATS THE POINT OF BOOKING IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE THE ROOMS AWAY?????

Worst place to stay in. The pictures are all false advertising. The owners and stafff are loud. The water in the bathrooms is cold and taps are faulty. They claim to have cable TV and Wi-Fi which are both non-existent.Would not advice anybody to stay here.

I made the booking on Thursday or Friday and on Saturday morning when I called them I asked if my booking is secure and the lady said yes. I couldnt pay online so she then told me its fine that I can pay when I get there. When I got there the guy(receptionist) told me that there would no room available and all he could say was sorry. I requested a mnager and I was told that his not there. Very unprofessional!!!

The stuff there is horrible. Cleaning not up to standard. Rooms smell. The staff speaks a foreign language and receptionist is very rude and vulgar. Worst experience of my life. Id encourage people not to got there.

Bad service. Rooms were full and yet we had booked and they took ages to clean up and prepare the room. Those who followed us were also being referred to other guesthouses although they had booked.

Horrible experience!!! No customer service; arrongancy at its best. We made booking for our visitors & confirmed the booking with a Charles via mobile upon arrival we told its fully booked & reffered to Blackwood guest house where we were also told we are fully booked but we have 1 room that....we didnt even wait for them to finish sentence. The place looked shady & obviously didnt want to risk my visitors lives...i wouldnt recommend to anyone!

I was very disappointed with the room. It smelled as if someone was smoking in the room. We did not even stay, we cancelled our stay straight away.

I went there and the room I booked was given away, I was taken to a shady room with no TV. And when I woke up in the morning there was no water and the guy that works there said it happens often but it will be fine at around 9, I left for work without bathing
