Best n cheapest veg n fruit ..ten rand wensday specials..pleasure to shop

Place makes you hold on to you wallet a little tighter.. This may sound snobby, but the level of poverty in the community is scary and parking at the Spar makes you very aware of it. I feel sorry for the people, but wont recommend the Spar just because of the area...

Really upset with the service we received the past weekend. Ordered cocktail buns and French loafs on Tuesday (15.12.2020) and paid a deposit. Arrived on Saturday to pick up and they accidently gave our exact order to another customer who said it was theirs (Which I doubt highly). My friend called the manager as we needed the goods for a function when he numerous times said he will give us other items for free which was kind, but it was not what we needed. Then he returned with 4 packs which we needed more of and said we should come back in a hour for the rest (after they accidently gave away our order). Got to the tills and they had to call and fetch prices because the sales assistant did not know what the prices was?!. Oh and, got the french loafs in a spar crate between baking sheets, not even packed and wrapped for our safety (Well done on meeting the Covid Regulations).

This is by far the best Spar Ive ever been to in all provinces, friendly staff, good prices and convenient hours.

This is one of my preferred supermarketes. ALWAYS clean with fresh food and 98% of the time hot buns and rolls. Sunday meals are also one of the best in the area

The staff at the bakery section are terrible they act like they doing you a favour being in the store! They have no sense of what a customer is, they go about there business while customers wait at least 5mins until someone acknowledges you, they argue in front of customers, speak there private unnecessary things in front of customers this is including the cashiers only acknowledged my presence after tilling the 5th item thats when she wants to greet me. Besides the friendly security guard at the door customer service doesnt exist here.

Parking is a HUGE problem here. More than once I found either black feathers between the baked cake or abrasive scouring in the cooked spinach. Also the buns is not always properly baked. But at least the staff is always friendly and they have a wide variety of products.

Like this SPAR but had to go and ask for prices.....why not posted on the shelves so I can see if Im still within my budget. Thats not acceptable.

Love my local Spar. They have good deals on some of the products in store. Also love the reward card system. Absolutely love the Spar dog and cat food brand. Really good quality. Only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is because on weekends the shelfs seems to run empty...

Local grocery store. Parking way too little...unless you want to walk far. Great of weekend goods.

I am a regular customer, I do purchases there almost every day, although I dont greet everyone surely they should be used to my face....and yet.... I am being followed by security from isle to isle.... I feel a bit offended...I am the kind of guy who points out when they missed items at the till, I am the kind of person who returns items which dont belong.....I am the last person to be dishonest.Secondly, today I stood in the queue and the cashier had challenges with the customer in front of me, why cant cashiers indicate to us that we should rather move on to another available cashier instead of letting us stand there waiting...I am not angry, its a suggestion which will only improve customer service

MY EXPERIENCE WITT THE SHOPS HAS TO BE THE ROOLS. I AM A ROLLS LOVER AND I HAVE TESTED AND TASTED BREAD ROLLS FROM 10 OUTLETS IN AND AROUND PRETORIA, ALL WITH INHOUSE BAKERY. SPAR AT MOOT HAS THE BEST ROLLS AND I ALWAYS BET ON THEM IF I NNED TO ENJOY A MEAL.
