This is a great course, well maintained and mostly open fairways with little water features. Only lost one ball, and I’m a high handicapper so very forgiving. Professional and hospitable staff, and descent food for halfway. Walkable and great layout. Greens are not so forgiving, bunkers make up for less water and trees, almost every green has a bunker. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, very little ruff and easy to find your call even if you don’t hit straight. I’d play there anyway, scenery is great and refreshing. Clubhouse has fairly good range of products and the course is neat, beautiful change rooms.

Been a while since I played this course. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it was in good condition for this time of the year. Only aspect that can be improved are the greens. They were quite bumpy and not that true

When it comes to Golf courses in Pretoria Waterkloof Golf Club is a beaut. I am a mediocre golfer to say the least but Waterkloof Golf club I always look forward to playing, they have some tight holes off the time but thats what makes it interesting. The condition of the course is always top notch.You will not be disappointed booking your next round of golf here. Looking forward to playing Waterkloof this year with our annual golf day scheduled in September.The staff are also friendly and welcoming to new visitors, always nice to see how happy there are to see new visitors to the club.Looking forward to seeing you in September.

Beautiful Golf Course, played it for the very 1st time .... loved the greens and the general maintenance. The food gets 2 stars.

Overall a great first time. Staff friendly and perfect service. Course is looking great greens however played dificult but I do understand they were Holo tined (pardon spelling) recently. Thanks was fun

Had a good 9 holes. The course is in great condition. The course present a good challenge for all handicap players. I love this place and sunset at the Clubhouse is beautiful.

Course in good condition and price very affordable! So no problem with course and staff. The concern is security at gate taking pictures of inside of my vehicle before I can exit..!? I have no problem them having a look but NOT taking pictures!

The course is in a good enough condition after all the rain. The American style thick kikuyu next to the fairways is a bit too much if they have not mowed it recently. Friendly people!

The course is in great shape. The greens were extremely unpredictable with some being much faster than others but it all added to the challenge - this challenge could be overcome should you be a better handicap than me (currently at 27). Didnt really play too much golf on the fairways as I decided to go for the more scenic route but I was told they were fantastic. I would definitely play here again. They are also adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols in case someone was wondering with a grab-and-go breakfast/ lunch which you order before you play the 8th.

Played there last Friday. Great golf club in Pretoria. Facilities and the course are well looked after and maintained. Even during winter the golf course is in a great condition. Will definitely play there more often. And their prego rolls are the best!

The food is visually appealing with very creative contrasts in flavour and texture. Service was good as well. 2 reasons that it missed the mark for me: 1. Menu had too few non pork options and being one of the few restaurants with a degustation menu, I felt that I really missed out on an experience2. Portion sizes a trifle too small

Lovely course in the middle of the city. Greens are immaculate.

The security guard at the gate is so rude and so abrupt. Not impressed with the way he treats first time visitors.

Very nice golf course but dont underestimate the greens. Put away from the mountains. Thats your line on most of the greens

Very good greens after the recent rain

I played a round the course this morning. The course is in great condition however at the security gate photos of the contents of my boot was taken which has private documents in. I voiced my concern as this in contravention of the PAIA act.I spoke to Ben Steyn who very rudely told me not to come back to the estate if I have concetns about this. So if you value your own privacy I would suggest that you do not go there!!

The golf course is really good, but when we got halfway and ate something. It was terrible service. Firstly they got our order completely wrong. Which is fine I know sometimes mistakes happen, but when my plate of pasta came I was disgusted. It looked terrible and it was so oily. I ate two bites thinking maybe the presentation is just bad, but it was awful. I got nauseous and got stomach pains. Won’t it there again.

Very beautiful golf course. Not badly priced for students to play a full 18. The Pro Shop attendants are always willing to help! However, on the odd occasion the greens are hollow tined without prior warning, perhaps just confirm this when making a booking.

The course Marshall was unpleasant when we last played there. However, the course is a fun layout for some low scores, and generally kept in very fair condition!

I had a good golf. The course appears easy but surprisingly my scores where not good. Busy on Friday morning 7th December 2018 when I played here. Good Pro Shop with clubs for rent and cart to go with it. The restaurant has good menu and washroom just about okay .

Well run club house and some testing greens.Lovely driving to the place which is next to a nature reserve with some nice animals (wilder-beast, Zebras).I went to club for lessons with the pro. lovely chap who improved my game.Driving range was a little neglected was my only problem with club.As well as carts and buggies, the club has buggi-bicycles to rent for a sporty and fun round of golf.Always got a nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant.

Amazing venue and awesome staff

I had the opportunity to visit Kloof restaurant for the first time recently - what a fantastic discovery! The staff were all professional, friendly and efficient. And the food was spectacular! Unfortunately I did not get a photograph of the main course but only my starter and dessert... every single part of the meal was delicious and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend Kloof

Very interesting course set next to the R21. Rough can be a little rocky as the course is built on a rocky hill. Clubhouse is very neat and the service good. Always a pleasure to play here.

The bunkers were intimidating and plentiful. The greens deceiving yet refreshing. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. A pleasant surprise and a course that I will go back to.
