No putting greens available as previous years. Only a circle cut in rough grass with a yellow painted coffee tin indicating the hole. I have played many times before at this golf course because it is a nice comfortable 9 hole course for a quick few holes in an afternoon. They can return this facility to its previous function, a dumpsite.

Its absolutely beautiful and taken care off. Theres a nursery, small eating place, fishing, running and bike trails. Thats excluded from the gholf that its famous for. I loved it.

This course has turned into a pathetic dump. You might be able to go hunting here but dont try golf. The whole course is overgrown and nothing is maintained. All the holes arent even available to play, as even the staff can no longer find them since their renovation 🤣 and with the rough being more like a jungle. Used to play this course in the past but it has taken a serious turn for the worst. Please do not waste your time on this golf course (pretty sure you cant even call it that anymore)

Hillsife Golf Club is pathetic. You cant see the green on the golf course and there is no holes in the ground for you ball there is a piece of metal with concrete inside that is the so called hole. The course is a mess and no maintenance done on the course itself. You have no idea where the next hole is and the map given is not a proper navigation. Nice place to go to as a family if there is a market and the resturant is nice. But the golf course is a no go.

There is a food and craft market every Saturday. Its worth visiting.

Maybe not the best golf course, but the park run on Saturday mornings is a lot of fun. Someone must just invest a bit of money to finish the clubhouse and maybe re look at the course itself. Then maintain it well and I am sure it will be a great 9 hole course!

The golg club is 0.3km from my home. I passing it nearly weekly.There is however a very lovely nursery

Go there for a Parkrun every Saturday. Has a great track for those waiting to keep fit and healthy. Its also free! Right here in PTA North

A lot to do here, theres a nice restaurant very cheap. Love going there. Every Saturday you can walk or ride your bicycle. Fun for the whole family.

Cheapest Golf Course in and around Pretoria. It is a challenging course. Some serious rough and fair fairways. The greens need some attention. It is worth your money playing at Hillside.

This is by far the cheapest golf you will find. It at the time i played in 2018 on a tuesday was only R50 for 18 holes! thats right, R50 for a full round of golf. For that alone its definitely value for money. Good for beginners or for saving money.

Nice affordable course with a challenging layout. The Saturday Park Run is also well organised on a fairly technical course.

If you like searching for your ball, then this is the perfect place to go and im not joking. You will even find struggle to find your ball on the fairway. They also have obstacles on the greens.

Affordable price for a challenged 9 hole golf course, fairways can be cut shorter still have to look for ball on fairways, will be nice if there are some water points on the course for drinking. Just take water with you.
