They do not even deserve that 1. I made a deposit of almost 90% on my shower door and they refused to do the installation before I make full payment. Their service is extremely bad, not sure about their workmanship as am still waiting for my installation it’s been 5 weeks.

I phoned about 5 weeks ago for a replacement of a sliding door glass. Was told they will phone me to come out for the measurements. No phone call received up to date.Went there today for another glass order, when I got there I was told there is no glass cutters to assist, I must come back at another time. I asked if it was maybe possible just to order it in the meantime. I just wanted to give my measurements. The lady said no, they are on lunch, its the only time they have to rest. Really? Please dont desturb them between 13:00 and 14:00! Will never go back!

Very poor services. They do not accept proof of payment from a bank and it might take 10 to 14 working days to replace a 52cm x 64cm window at a retirement village in Eldoraigne.

Promised to repair glass for 3 days and then on the 3rd day stated they will only come the next day which will be after we have left for holiday with a big open window unsecure.Got another company to sort out within 3 hours with great service, no empty promises.

Worst experience ever dealing with Elwierda glass. They do not deliver on time. The did not finish a job and went to another site before completing our project . They left the incomplete job over a long weekend.

They took wrote my measurements for a piece of glass incorrectly, told me to come back an hour later and still didnt have my glass ready for me. No one knew who I was or what I had ordered. Glass came back incorrectly sized for what I needed. I returned to the store to ask if they can rectify the mistake that was made on their behalf by taking the glass given to me back and cutting a new piece with the correct measurements. I wouldnt have a problem paying in the difference. And I was told rudely and flat out no they cant help me and if I want a larger piece i need to repay for a new piece. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I just dont understand why they wouldnt rectify the problem because they could have made more money by allowing me to pay the difference in, instead they have lost customer.

Window broke Thursday, I called early morning to make an appointment, was told teams already out for the day they would schedule me for the Friday. I would receive a call. Friday by 11 no call. After I called I was told 13:00 team arrived and put in a temp piece of glass ( the final piece needed to be sandblasted). The temp glass cracked in three places, what am I supposed to make of that. Needless, we are on day 6 and I still dont have a quote from them to complete the job.

I dont have words for how bad their service are. Shocking.

Phoned them twice to get a simple quote on a window. First time I provided the measurements and was told they would phone me back in 5 min with the quote. Four hours later I followed up and was told the lady I spoke to will get back to me when she has the details. The second lady was very rude.Im sorry. One star is to much for these guys. Stay away!

No commitment to customers

Worse service ever!!!!!!!! Got a quote in May 2016 - accepted and paid 80% deposit on 12th June 2016 for closing a stoep with glass and aluminium (their specialty). The job would have been completed on or before 3 weeks from payment. They sent rookies to do the job, looks like ......... The main problem is that today is 30th September and the job is not finished. 2 Frames, windows and cover plate not installed yet. Whenever i call i receive a promise that someone will call back without further or any response. The owner and maybe the same as manager cant be contacted as he never respond or answer on any cry for help. I think that i have to get a quote from Hennops Glass & A to complete the job

In my experience alwierda glass has the worse service ever. If one calls with an query about the glass, they says that they will come back to you as soon as possible. But they never follow up on your queries, and never come back to you.When the glass was finally being installed, not all the glass was deliverd or was ther wrong size and tipe of glass. It takes 6 times to complete a simple task.Last week they arranged with me a time for 10:00 to complete the small household project. By 12:00 I called and wanderd when they are going to arive, and they said the will be there by 13:00. By 15:00 I called AGAIN, and the same answer they will be there by 16:00 . At 16:30 I called AGAIN, and they said that they would not be comming today, and will come the next day. The next day the same thing happend.They are unable to keep to the arranged time ( THEY GIVE ME ).When I tried to speak to the owner, the owner would not listen to me while I am talking. While I busy talking he takes a call.My recommendation is to NEVER use there services again.Worse service I ever received.

Poor weak !!!80% deposit paid. One month later and still had no shower. Elwierda calls and says the door is right, they are coming today. Today goes by and I hear nothing. I had to call myself the next day to hear why they didnt show up! Oooh worst excuse ever, the glass fell off the bakkie, theyre going to squeeze for 5 days. Again the same story. 5 days go by I hear nothing again. Drive to them, no Friday you will find the door. Friday goes by. Again I call them first thing on Monday. The door has come today we will bring him tomorrow. Will never make use of their service again. Stay away!

Can someone please just come to my house and open the windows that could never open or close. You were the installers of the whole houses sliding doors and windows. Pathetically, El Wierda paid 3 weeks back for work that is not finished yet, owner never answers his phone. They promised me work would be finished in 3 days. Please stay away ....
