Had my front left passenger window replaced by them on 25/02/2021 through insurance. Window had to be replaced with smash and grab tint as the original one had smash and grab tint. Was a victim of a smash and grab two days ago and the thief went through the supposed smash and grab tint...! They clearly did not install any smash and grab tint else none of my valuables would have been stolen. Have been trying to call them to no avail.

They are quick and easy to work with, considering I went through my insurance. They could use more admin staff, or more than one receptionist/secretary, since people that go there dont have enough manners to consider those of us that were waiting long before them and should be helped first.
Initially went to get my windscreen replaced here because the insurance selected them. New Windscreen leaked water, when phoning to report the problem or rebook they never answered the phone. When I drove there early in the morning the next day, they said I must come back at 2pm.Apon entering the shop in the morning, I phoned the number which I initially dialed - +20 times and guess what, the phone rang in the reception? Why dont they answer the phone?? And they said its impossible that the windscreen leaks. Why would I lie to waste my day?They said they are having phone problems, but to be honest I dont believe them. Why did the phone ring?Secondly, after the new Windscreen was reset, they damaged the plastic covering in the inside of my bakkie window frame and you can se the glue buldging from the Windscreen corner - poor poor workmanshipWe as clients are forced to use businesses like this because the insurance companies choose them, likely because they are cheaper. Consequently they dont need to provide a good service because they know that insurance companies will always prefer them as the service provider.
Elna is too useless. I now need to fins another glass fit for help. 3 weeks of no help. Worse, I needed to finalise everything this month so that I can sell the car and get another one. Even her attitude is that whatever kind of attitude. Definitely informing my insurance about this poor service.
The cracked wind screen of the Audi was replaced here at home on time within ½ an hour. The service was very friendly and professional; really excellent. Frank

Windscreen was replaced, I needed to vacuum my car home from all the glass inside the car....on the floor, gearlever, passenger door.Would be nice if they cleaned properly.
So far so good, the fitment of my windscreen was done within 30 minutes, I still need to wash it (towards the weekend) :-)

Went in to get a quote and set an appointment to fit the windscreen. When the day and time came, nobody shows up, 30 mins later I phone to hear what is going on, they say they will find out for me. Still havent heard back and it is the end of the day. Cant even make the effort to call and let you know they cant make it.
This was the best service, even after they closed at 12h00, they waited for me and Riaan repaired my windscreen crack. 5 out 5 for efforts and 100% for excellent service. Thank you very much

I had to return four times for them to correctly install a door window. They were fast, they were friendly, but they should be able to install the window correctly the first time. I am disappointed with Glasfit.

Fantastic service. Maria at reception handled all the admin of my claim and even in Afrikaans! The work was suppose to take 2 hours but was done in less time. There is a Steers next door if needed. When you expect the worst but gets the best it is always appreciated.
Insurance claim, 8 days later still await their call, they dont answer the phone. Call Centre has same issue will send a mail.
This glasfit turned my horrible experience with pg glass around. The manager fetched the glass from a supplier himself and they made space for me before the holiday season. Excellent staff. Great job

I had my winscreen and side window replaced through my insurance, and had to wait for the prescribed time while fitment was undertaken.The work was handled profesionally and i can say with ease this is the place to go for your cars windows and windscreens.
Absolutely pathetic workmanship. Had my windscreen replaced here, they did not seal it correctly. Wind noise coming through the seals when driving. The most basic part of installing a windscreen is making sure it is correctly sealed.To add to that, my dashboard was absolutely filthy after the install, and the sealing glue was all over the plastic strips on the sides of the windscreen.Update: Was instructed to take my car to any Glasfit to rectify the issue, so I went to Glasfit in Alberton. (Helpful staff, quite friendly). They managed to convince me that its probably just the way the beadings were put back - I disagreed but eventually caved and listened to them.After redoing the terrible job done on the beadings, the wind noise is still there. So they have me running around trying to sort out THIER mess
Went via insurance. Called them early in the week.(mon/tuesuGot an SMS to tell me Glasfit cannot get hold of me, yet no missed calls. I phone Outsurance again, only then they indicate that they will get Glassfit to place an order. Its long weekend. Get a call on Tuesday from Glassfit to confirm details of windscreen. Say to them I am leaving on Friday. Need windscreen to be replaced before that. They said sure. Will order the item. I call on Wednesday to check progress. They say they will callback. Nobody does. I call again a little later. They check and tell me item has arrived. So I make a booking for Thurday. Get there. No queing system, cars are just pulled in at whom of staff. I speak to a technician, and then get my car taken to the workshop. Almost an hour after appointed time. Not systematic at all. No two way communication..Very disappointing. Just hope this glass survives.
Good job replacing my cars windscreen. Their facilities for customers and reception needs a serious upgrade. I had to wait for my car. The seats are terrible and nothing as refreshments while you wait.
Pathetic customer service. You walk into the office and not one person greets you or asks if you need help. They dont even acknowledge that you are there. Its as if they dont care. Everyone is on the phone or pretending to be busy. You literally have to ask if anyone can help. Terrible attitude. Wont go there again... Rather go to PG GLASS!

I have had the most unproffesional experiance from this glass fit. After installing a scrathed windscreen a week ago. Now been here for 3 hours to have it replaced again only to find out they dont even have the windshield here. Rediculous

What a disappointment. The place looks unprofessional, the staff are unprofessional. I was told the tinting of two windows would take an hour, but after two hours and no phone call I returned to find my car untouched. what a waste of time.
