Size of the fish is getting smaller. Ordered a house salad and got a Greek salad instead. Still tasty though.

The personell are very friendly and the service good but the fish and calamari is oily to the point if being sickening.I had to come home and put it under the grill just for it to be edible.If I could I wouldve posted a picture. Value for money...NOOOOverpriced for poor quality

Tasty chips and calamari and fish burger but otherwise small portions, especially the fish special. Mussels barely there and chowder not saucy and not tasty. Eat quickly because the waiters grab your plates away while you are still eating.

Nice simple seafood menu in a cozy little eatery in a strip mall.The batter on this fish was light and crispy which is exactly what you look for in a good fish and chip restaurant. However for me there is a difference between good food and great food. And often times it comes down to seasoning. Although the fish was fresh and crispy, it was very bland. A little lemon garlic and salt either before battering or in the batter would take the fish to another level and would honestly leave me craving it every so often. For now it was great to try it but not really keen on returning.

The best house salad ever. Good quality service and friendly staff. Lovely to be served in Afrikaans. If you like good food, Tonis Fish & Chips and Tonis Pizza are te two best places to eat out in the Moot. I am health conscious and gluten free and they do it both excellent.

Most amazing attention to quality cooking. Enjoyed a deep fried hake in beer batter with exquisite potato chips. Both prepared in typical South African style, but with exceptional finesse.Also enjoyed the house salad with fried vegetables. I made use to eat the lunchtime special end of June 2018. Fish and chips and choice of local beer or drink @ R55.Add R7 and the chips are exchanged for salad. The food was well prepared and presented, but the fish portion very small and far too much dressing on salad.My mom also had the lunchtime special, Russian and chips. The Russian was a foot long and portion of chips large.Service was very fast, friendly and efficient.

I usually frequent Tonis Pizza and was pleasantly surprised to discover Tonis Fish and Chips.We had a sit-down lunch, but I believe they do take-aways as well. There is enough seating, mostly inside, but a few outside.Everything we ordered was delicious. The hake I ordered was as soft as you can imagine it.Im also glad her speciality desserts are available here. The nougat is always fantastic!

A total waste of my time waited nearly 40 minutes after placing my order then the waiter confirmed what we ordered only to wait another 20 minutes and then to discover our order was never placed, can only rate how pathetic the service is, now I have been there twice, the first time and the last time 🤬😡

Waitress did not smile once! Was difficult to get her attention when she was sitting glued on her chair staring at her phone screen the entire time. Felt like she thought she was doing us a favour by serving us. I will in the future rather skip!

Surprised at the calamari. It was very nice. Best chips. Fish was yummy. If you hungry take the bigger portion otherwise you will be dissapointed. Will go again for sure

I can recommend Tonis Villieria to everybody who loves their seafood, and even more, loves friendly and capable staff! Best fish joint in Pretoria! Crows Nest combo is delicious. And their hake pieces are the biggest Ive seen. The service is outstanding too, typical of Tonis. Love this place and higly recommend.

Its a nice well centered well trained staff and their chefs knows their stories about fish specially their manager, staff nd the cheffs are always frendly nd they know how to grill a fish a fish nd I like their method of serving their customers

Menu is fairly limited, but thats fine for a fish and chip establishment.Pricing is very competitive and the staff are very friendly and know what theyre doing. Portions are big, if worried about not having enough, top up with an extra side of chips or something, but the standard fare is more than enough to satisfy most.Its really easy to access with enough parking for its small size just outside.This isnt quite the same one of a kind, top rung experience that one gets at the Original Tonis, but you cant go far wrong here for the nights where pizza isnt what you crave

We were charged extra for salad and no chips. Asked for no onions with salad and sure thing I received onions. Also ordered a take away for my son. They only started wirh the take away after we had paid.
