Wow!! Just received my hard cover photo book and it has exceeded my expectations. I had custom designed it, and had no experience of doing a photo book but I had lots of help from the agents when I called, particularly Rochelle. It is a precious keepsake for my family, and I couldnt recommend Qphoto more.

Best online photo service I have ever used!!!! Highly recommend. Very fast delivery. I opened my pack of photos, which came with little pegs and even black paper to back my few glossy prints. I was beyond impressed. These guys are the ones to get photos printed with!!!

I placed an order on the website with a Promo code for Xmas in July. The system had an error so I took a screenshot to send as soon as the payment went through to correct the discount not given.Unfortunately they can not correct the discount as the terms and conditions state that the code should have been entered even though the system gave an error. Really disappointed in the service

The photos were great but the service was terrible. On the 8th of May we gave in and asked for about 14 photos to be printed, paid and we were told that they were very busy and to pick them up in an hour and a half (this was at 12:40, so we’d have to pick up at 14:10) and they also took our number. So after having to wait around in the mall I came back at 14:06 to only find that they had closed and another couple standing besides me with the same dilemma. After knocking vigorously and being ignored for a couple of minutes and getting a shrug from the lady who initially helped us, someone else then came so the side door and was very rude. She told us to calm down and that it was after hours and that she didn’t have to help us....even though is was only 6 minutes after hours and this was the time they told us to come back, and they never even tried to contact us. Reluctantly she asked our names and gave us our printed photos that were lying on the counter.

Consistently excellent service! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and the printing results for various items have been 10/10 every single time.

Poor service, or actually no service received from Parkview branch Pretoria. Logged queries online, got emails back saying a consultant will call me back, that didnt happen, then went into the store to sort out my query which I was trying to do on their website and still they couldnt assist. I was told to call the call centre, they cant assist me in the store.

Photos got printed in shocking bad quality. No attempt to rectify it....will not use them again! Besides that, I was waiting for 15 min before I got a „hello“ or assistance

Initially I didnt receive a confirmation for my purchase on my online project. When I contacted customer service, a lovely gentleman named Emmanuel helped me out quickly and efficiently. My order was found and a reference number was given straight away. Lovely service. Cant wait for my photo book to arrive. Always used QPhoto for prints when stores were open and havent been disappointed so far.

Unfortunately I have not had a good experience with Q photo as they did not return my refund and there was no communication.

Edit: I decided to give them another try after multiple disappointing encounters. I ordered 1000 business cards, and yes the online submission is super easy and flawless and to my surprise they delivered the cards within 2days! Upon receiving the parcel I actually knew it was too good to be true! They only shipped 513 cards (I had to discard 36 of them because they were cut skew). I phoned them and they told me they just want to follow-up they wil phone me back within 30minutes. After an hour I phoned again where they told me they are still busy following up. I phoned them the next afternoon where they were unsure, but they promised they’ll phone me back. They then actually did phone me back saying they printed the remainder and it would be delivered before the weekend. I phoned them again on the Friday to follow-up but they were out of boxes to ship my order in so it would only be couriered the next Monday.Phoning them again on Wednesday they told me it shipped this morning- so yes it’s been almost 2 weeks- the poor service and keeping the customer in the dark unfortunately outweighs all the possible pro’s!1st review early 2020…My first review I gave them a 5star review- I don’t like giving bad reviews, but after receiving good service only twice and bad service exceeding 5times now, not only did I change printers but I have to change my review!It is exactly the 4 times now where I waited more than a week for 36 prints (costing me R540). I don’t stay close by and opting for the free delivery takes another 2 weeks (I made the mistake of doing that as well) so I usually arrange for someone to pick it up on my behalf- telling them to please check that all 36 prints are there! After telling the cashier there is 24 prints missing they just said that is all they have and sent my friend home.When I phoned them they said they made a mistake so I have to bring everything back so that I can wait another week for them to correct their mistake and then I have to go and collect everything again??It is just super inconvenient with terrible customer service and over priced items- rather visit Galoot- I paid R170 for 70 prints, much better quality and same day pick-up!

Ordered a Build My Book through q-photo and spoke to agent - I requested the progress on my order placed on 8 Jan - the agent told me I placed it on 13 Jan....??? When I look at my account then there are no orders. When I queried this the agent replied it is a different platform and will not show - where is client centricity?? Not professional at all.

Very disappointed once again. !!There was a printing error in a photo book that I’ve made in the past which took hours to create and they didn’t reprint it for me. They’d told me that I must start all over again and create it again , because they couldn’t print the same book that I’ve made although it was their mistake. I decided to use them again for photo prints and uploaded 720 photos which took a very long time to choose from my phone and to upload. It kept giving me an error code when I tried to add it to my cart . Customer service just told me that It’s too many photos , that’s why it happens and that I must start another project and upload it in different projects . They couldn’t even tell me what the maximum amount of photos are that can be uploaded for it not to give me an error code ????? It took hours to add all those photos to my project !!!!!!! I’ll never use them again. !!!!!Ive already deleted 160 photos and it still gives me an error code. How do they NOT KNOW how many photos can be uploaded in one project??????????????????? POOR SERVICE !!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

I fetched my photo books on March 1, 2020. The books were beautiful and the quality excellent. Thank you very much!Unfortunately, the size of my books was not as advertised. Qphoto website advertises photo books as A4 size.The pages were definitely not A4 size. It was 36 mm shorter and 13 mm narrower than A4.My books printed in 2017 were also smaller than A4, but now they are much smaller.I am very, very disappointed!

Paper so thin on standard jumbo prints they are give to you curved. I ordered MANY photos as I am taking to family overseas. I only ordered duplicates (2) of some photos. Once I got home and could go through all the photos 8 came back in triplicate (3), and 8 photos I had ordered in duplicate (2) then only had one copy. I know there was no mistake in the order as the gent who helped me and I went through them in detail before confirming the order. This happened to me last time as well, I thought it was a simple mistake and left it at that, but twice in a row just indicates a trend. It was a standard order, nothing fancy and everything was put on the system which is supposed to be automated. Either the system sucks or it is the staff who cannot follow the order. Utterly displeased, the book I ordered last time glued itself shut, although kept in a box and looked after. I will not be going back. There are other smaller competitors all over, I will simply use them and wait a day instead of 1 hour for my standard prints. I have used a few competitors and am IN LOVE with their superior quality for a competitive price for what you get.

I ordered a set of retro (Polaroid-looking) photos. I ordered while they were closed and was initially quoted to receive it on 14 January. To my surprise, the photos arrived on 8 January. The quality is excellent and Im very satisfied with the service!

Qphoto has their ups and downs.The quality is a solid 9/10 most days, and they are very reasonably priced compared to everyone else.However, the customer service I have received from Dean (client consultant) has been outstanding. I often have odd requests and he is always super accommodating and takes care of me.Deserves a promotion - definitely!

Great store for frames and digital printing.Staff and service is good, but quickly overwhelmed by orders not being average. I asked if a simple C41 process could be done. I needed to speak to the expert about it. Then after placing the order and not having heard back from the shop for a while, they had a silly excuse that they did not have the chemicals.

Im extremely disappointed from your product and service.You provided a faulty product,  duplicated pages, cut the woman face out of the picture.You had a system error, you refused to take responsibility and I have to pay for a bad product

If a zero were possible, I would give one. My experience with Q Photo Parkview has been extremely distasteful and down right exploitative. I was initially quoted R70 per roll to develop film, and R5 per roll to put it on a USB. After waiting THREE weeks (I knew they send it away, so I was understanding), they charged my R70 per roll, plus an additional R5 PER PHOTO to copy to a USB. My bill ended up being well over R400.Having years of experience in photography, numerous of which is in the film photography community and industry, also having experience developing my own film, this is highly shady, not even to mention the staff’s unconcerned attitude, I’d advise you NOT to make use of Q Photo whatsoever. Utterly poor, and I will be notifying the greater film community of this as well.

This has been the worst experience of shopping online- I wanted to make a personal photo book for my gran over 3 weeks ago and the site has still not sent my confirmation order only pay fast confirmed it, 2 IT guys couldn’t “fix” my problem although all they did was delete and reinstall the app on my computer and tell me i have to download other apps to fix the problem.. then i asked for a refund over a week ago which i was told you only do it on a monday and that was 4 days ago?! I still have not received my money back and i have to change my gift idea for my gran! I am so utterly upset and the only solution i got was to get a 15% off from my next purchase as if i even want to do anymore business with you!! I want my money back now! And call centre wasn’t any help!

I struggled for 2 weeks with another supplier, trying to get a personalized item for my wife for valentines day but was met with poor quality and service. Q-Photo made my day by delivering a great product with a good quality print for me before valentines day despite their website indicating that I may need to wait until the 18th.

This experience was extremely disappointing. I had to wait two weeks for my film to be developed, at an extremely high price. And when I finally received the negatives, they neglected to send me the scans. This happened on a Friday and I now have to wait till the next available working day to receive my work. If you’re developing film, don’t go to Q photo. They are slow, over priced and unprofessional and I certainly will not be using their services again.

Standing under the wait here sign, no one came to help me. I finally asked a lady behind a counter and she said someone would come. Continued to wait over 15 minutes. Only to be told that a lady at a different counter would help me. Their meet and greet procedures do not work. I also think the quality of their pictures were better before they moved to this location.

Horrendous after sales service on a 2 for 1 special. Instructions for checkout were apparently in the ts and cs at the bottom of the page, and couldnt be seen when clicking on the special. Checked out with only one book as the promo code would not work. Emailed straight away to say I had a problem - 2 very rude sales consultants could not help, and the manager came back to me saying they could not apply a special after checkout. I have been using this company for 5 years, and am appalled at the lack of care over customer service. This certainly feels like they are trying to offer a special which is very difficult to fulfill. I wont be choosing this company again

Honestly have had the absolute worst experience with ordering from Q-photo online. Wanted to make a photobook. Their website deleted it multiple times, I think in the end Id done it over 5 times before I could finally order it. Ordered it, the cover was BADLY binded at the spine, and there was white lines showing that it hadnt been cut correctly before binding. Then, wanting to correct some spelling mistakes and order again, I tried to edit the project and couldnt access or duplicate it. I contacted support, and all they could tell me was that their system had DELETED my project (again!!!) after they had updated their website. Had to redo it AGAIN. After the order Im placing this week, I wont be using Q-photo for this purpose again.

Worst place ever first they didnt give all prints, then proceeded to argue that they did. Finally they agreed to give outstanding prints after an awful long back and forth with Emmanuel and then arranged delivery Saturday, call them at 1Pm Saturday then 2 then 3 only to be told the whole time by Emanuel that he is on the line with courier and will call me back shortly. He never called, we booked delivery for those prints on Monday now we cant cancel our courier as they are not open, so who will pay for this second mishap. They Emanuel does even have the decency to call and apologize or advise why delivery that he promised didnt happen. I stayed home my whole Saturday awaiting their lie of a delivery absolutely pathetic. I advise every one, photographer or public to stay away from this place as the incompetence is shocking!!

Takes forever to get your products , The photobook software is old and lagging . If you design a book be prepared to spend hours on it and then having a glitch deleting half of your book .Refund options are laughable .

The best place in town for all your photography needs. The photo books one can print using their software are great. We now have printed several books and the quality is consistently excellent.One thing I would like to bring to the attention of management. Unfortunately, the software to print the photo books doesnt allow you to save the design in high quality PDF. Very often, my clients also want a PDF version they can share. It is not possible with the software. I now have to order a printed version of the book, take it apart and scan it. This is not the most efficient and cost effective way of working.

Incorrect pricing given at point of consultation (after waiting 30mins for someone who can help me to get film developed) had to call them because I was not given a job number. And for good measure had to call the helpline to get notified that my things are ready even though I have not received an sms. Wont ever go there again neither will my fellow students. You would think a big order would be some what of importance to the business. Guess not

This company doesnt even dsleserve a 1 star. Its been six weeks and I still havent received Christmas cards that I ordered Theyve consistently lied about when theyd arrive and now its too late. In addition, they cant refund you unless you EMAIL all your banking details so they can eft your refund. So thats money Ill never receive back. I highly recommend NEVER using them.
