This place has the BEST service. The way they treated me as a customer was top tier, theyre helpful and patient. I felt comfortable and welcomed by the staff. Ive delt with them multiple times and I always go back.The place is also clean, neat and tidy which is always a plus.

The service here is excellent. I was over my milage for my service and tried to make a booking for my service. The lady (BONGA) at bookings was very friendly and told me to bring my bakkie in and they will sort it out. I can really recommend them.

What a great experience! I only went there to get a quote for body parts for my daughters accident damaged vehicle, but Alan at the parts counter is such a great guy, and doesnt mind at all to walk the extra mile for you to help you! He even printed me the exploded view of the front end of my daughters car, so I could see what every part on the quote was, as well as where it goes when I have to reassemble the car.

I initially was very impressed - received like royalty from (and especially the gate keeper) all the way to the mechanic who would deal with my bakkie.I am fast changing my mind.I have phoned 3 days in a row to find out what is to be done to my bakkie, and got promises to get a call back and to date - nothing. I expressed that I have no other transport and that this is crucial.

Booked my Peugeot for a service. On a Saturday as it is the easiest day to arrange everything including having to pick it up. Then about 2 hours later I get phoned, and they say that they cant service my car as it should have been serviced in Feb according to their records as it is a year or 15 0000km. I only bought the car in September 2020 so they never updated the system when I bought it. Then arranged for my car to stay there until the Monday. So, Monday, I waited for them to ring me, as they say they will ring me. 9h00 I ring them as I havent heard anything... they said they willl sort it out quickly and ring me back. An hour and a half later still nothing so I ring again. They are busy so they eventually ring back. Saying its been sorted. I ask them what time I need to be there to pick it, once again they will get back to me.. another hour later. I can come at 15h00. No sorry for the inconvienience caused, no offer of a courtesy vehicle to pick me up, as this was their mistake. Basically I needed to do damage control and rearrange my day due to their mistakes and slow service on getting back to me. Honestly, if I knew what I knew now.. I would have probably bought another car. Dont get me wrong, the Peugeot I drive is awesome.. but the after sales service... that was a very dissapointing experience.. And at the end of the day, a car will get you from A to B.. the service you receive is what makes the difference.

Take your car elsewhere for a service. You get screened by reception and cant speak to service consultant directly. you have to leave a message for them to phone you back - which they dont. Eventually tried the online service booking function on the website just to be phoned by a sales consultant that he received an enquiry to purchase a new car.Car was booked in for a service and at the end of the day they phone you with the quote amount. You ask to see the detailed quote you get it 11h00 the next day. you email them back instantly to continue with the service.Phone them at 12h00 to ask if they received the email confirmation but then you have to leave a message and no one phones you back.at the end of the the day they havent started with your service as they are awaiting confirmation to continue with the service.

The first time I worked with Ettienne and Westvaal and I am really impressed from a workshop (DASTEK) perspective. Ettienne really gave great service, sent parts immediately and I received parts which I was told will take 1 - 3 days, the same day. A big upgrade to the kind of service I am used to from previous Isuzu dealers.

I took my Citroen for a service 3 weeks ago. I only got my car back today. I had to wait until today for a new battery. They are blaming Peugeot parts department. But I found an email in the paperwork which stated that the part was ordered against the Peugeot part number instead of Citroen part number. The part mysteriously never appeared. I phoned Peugeot customer care yesterday and the part was at the dealership this morning. It doesnt matter to me that someone made a mistake. What matters is how they go about rectifying their mistake. Unfortunately no one at Westvaal had any interest in getting the part, following up or informing me, the customer of the state of affairs. I still believe that if customer care had not intervened the battery would still be MIA.In addition, I phoned this afternoon to ask if my car was ready for pick up. Annelize de Lange said yes, it was. I arrived 30 mins later in order to give them time to vacuum and clean the car - just in case. On arrival Annelize was informed that I was there to get my car. She promptly disappeared around a corner. After making me wait for 5 minutes she informed me that my car was not ready. They are still doing diagnostic checking? I asked her why she informed me that my car was indeed ready when I phoned earlier? She basically shrugged.My husband was with me and lost his cool at this point. Unfortunately the general attitude at Westvaal is pervasive. Eventually the owner came to us and informed us that we were being rude for yelling at the staff. I asked him what about the customer always being right? He responded by saying that the customer is not always right, but the customer is always the customer - whatever that means. He also tried to implicate the wonderful customer service agent saying that she lied to us about what was happening at the dealership?Generally I get the feeling that the staff are incompetent and cannot troubleshoot problems, once a problem has arisen they cover it up, instead of trying to resolve the problem.

Opel PART SALES guy is useless at customer care, I came to Opel cause a part on my car needed to be fixed/replaced. Part sales helped me and said the part will be ready In 3 working days so in a few days later i went and the guy at part sales says the engineer is unavailable he will call me tomorrow if I SHOULDNT come in. I didn’t receive a call so I went the next day. Part sales says no he is busy. So technically I wasted my time. I go in the next day cause I didn’t get a call. SAME THING. so then I said to him clearly. Call me when I CAN come in next time. It’s been almost 3 weeks for a rubber part on my car. That’s BEEN there. Eventually he calls me a week later to come in after 4pm so I do. I wait for another 30/45 min. Why wouldn’t he just be READY for me when he knew I was coming. Honestly shocking service. BUT the engineer on the other hand was very friendly and helped a lot.

Im not happy at all with the service i got in that place i gave them my car for 2 weeks for them to get a fault since the car was showing me engine light.i kept on calling trying to get whats wrong with the car they said they are busy working on it, when I visit them after 2 weeks my was still there no one worked on it for the whole 2 weeks, and along that 2 weeks i even called work shop manager he also said they working on it but all that was lie. Westvall failed me big time.

Unfortunately I cant give this a negative star rating though it certainly deserves one - without reservation this as one of the worst customer experiences Ive encountered. I booked my Peugeot 3008 in for its first service at 10k km which is basically an oil change. Having left the car at 8am the service was still incomplete at 15:30 and they close at 5pm. No valet service is offered nor do they seem to care that a car is a necessity in a place like South Africa. I had to repeatedly call to find out the status of the car; and given no update if I was to receive my car on the same day. The service center itself looks dull, grim and chaotic which really does betray the Peugeot brand. This workshop should be banned from servicing Peugeot - their abysmal service does not bode well for those who wish to purchase a Peugeot in future. Peugeot South Africa should really take this dealership to task for their poor service. I for one will never take my car here again.

If you eventually reach someone in the service department, they dont have an idea and they will find out and get back to you... Dissapointed in the service weve received and are still receiving.

Bought a car from Westvaal in May 2019. Since then I have been battling to receive a part that has been promised to me since I bought the car. This promise was even something that made me buy the car in the first place. From one manager to the next. No feedback. I even removed the previous review as the previous manager promised to deliver after I posted the previous 1 star review. The truth is Westvaal is full of promises pre-sale but no show afterwards. I would not support them again. Think carefully before you make a decision to support this company.

My mom took in my Peugeot for its first service this morning. Around 10am she received a call to say the car was ready and they will pick her up to fetch it at 11am. When she got there, the car was not ready, dirty as well. She was told it will take another hour to wash the car. Mind you, she left work because they said it was ready and now they expect her to wait another hour while they finish up. Mom asked for the invoice/document outlining what they did during the service, they said they cant give it and they will email it, still no email received. As the owner, I called them to complain and without listening the reception lady forwarded me to the service department. Very rude. The service department said I should be talking to their manager Reinier who is not there and I should call later. What kind of place is this that I complain and I must call when its convenient for people and no one is trying to address my issues? Not even an acting manager available to assist? This is disgusting customer service. I have never been treated this way in my years of having a Peugeot car.

My mother experienced the worst Customer Experience from Frikkie Snyman, he refused to give a refund for a part that was unused which is against Terms & Conditions. She took WESTVAAL to The Motor Ombudsman who is in support of her. After that Frikkie called my mom and threatened her to remove her negative reviews or else she will not be refunded. He did not even apologize for the poor service. How distasteful. He is unprofessional.

Went here for a car service recently. Service itself was great, no problem, friendly people etc. But check the prices when you service here! Extremely overpriced on some items, we ended up getting our brakes done at their competition for a third of the price. And R2000+ for replacing wiper blades? No thanks, that’s waaaay too much.

If I could give no stars I wouldI went to get my car serviced and everything went well. I booked my car. Payed for the service afterwards and was on my way. Until my car started making a squeaking noise 4 DAYS AFTER THE INNITAL MAJOR SERVICE. This caused my cars engine and handbrake light to flicker while i was driving.I had to take my car back only to find out that my alternator belt was scratching against my time belts casing. They requested R642 for the belt to be changed as the current one was already deteriorating. I paid the amount with a heavy hart.Not even 2 weeks later, my alternator belt FELL OFF while i was driving on the highway i might add.I insisted they come out to my house the following day to fix their mistake with no fee attached to this service. The Manager gave me attitude saying they first have to find the problem before discussing prices.They came back to me saying the alternator pulley isnt the right one for my car and that they dont check it with a routine major service. They requested ANOTHER R690 to replace the pulley and the belt. As if Ill go back to them to screw something else up.I urge you to look on other helpful review sights (Like Hello Peter) to make sure you receive an accurate review of the place where youre receiving service of any kind.

What is the use of advertising trading hours if you dont trade during those times? Just to waste a persons time.Was there on Saturday at 12, everything was closed and no one was there. Trading times end at 13:00. There were two other Gentleman whom were also there to look at and purchase a car, Westvaal if you stuck to your advertised times you couldve sold 3 more cars... What a waste of time.

So my wifes and my story with west vaal started 3 years ago, we bought a gwm h5 suv from them after another dealer let us down, from the time we phoned them to the time the care arrived in smithfield from the branch in nelspruit it was about 48 hours, we had 3 years of excellent motoring out of that vehicle, Fast forward 3 years to the present we phoned them again but they had nothing that we wanted so they put us on to the Menlyn Branch we thought that its the same dealership we will get great service but no we were sadly disappointed, it took them nearly two weeks to get the car to us, once we got it it was one problem after another, first there was no sd card for the navigation, the front fender trim was coming off and the front fender bracket was bent.The problems got worse, radiator fan cowling held on with cable ties there were more things that i could mention the car went back to menlyn and they supposedly fixed all the problems but low and behold when i got the car back still no sd card the front fender trim was still broken and the bracket was not repaired. two weeks later the sd card arrived and the front fender trim also came but i will have to fix the bracket at my own cost. There was excuse after excuse with the dealer. The car sat in the workshop for almost two week before it came back what the work shop did was absolutely nothing other than press in a few clips and fasten a few things, The battery bracket was even loose after spending this amount of time in their work shop.This whole episode has left a bad feeling and i dont think i would ever use them again.In my opinion they need a wake up call.
