I had braces for 4 and a half years (I was told it would only take 2 years upon initial exam) with Dr Roux and my teeth were still not straight. I told him to take it off as I was leaving the country and had no other choice, he celebrated my teeth telling me how hood they looked but we BOTH knew they were not straight and my bite was still off. On top of that, it cost my parents 4x the original price that he quoted them for my braces. Everyone that I know of that had braces done by this unqualified Dr. had their braces for 4+ years and the biggest problem with their teeth were STILL not fixed. Never ever ever go to Anton Roux for braces or any dentistry work for that matter.

I wish I could give zero stars for this man.y root canal procedure was botched and now the whole thing needs to be removed,tooth and all. On top of that,he did fillings in other teeth after I explicitly said that he mustnt and then expects me to foot the bill. I wish that I could name and shame on Facebook without it being illegal,but I will NEVER reccomend him to anyone.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY ENEMIES!!!WOULD BE 0 STARSI am about one mm away from reporting this dentist with the HPCSA as he has no idea what he is doing or he has lost all his passion for what he does. He had fixed my wifes crown twice in 3 weeks and it broke again. He makes wild suggestions telling you need antibiotics while you do not even have any infection.AVOID GOING TO THIS DENTIST IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!!

I dont know how this fraudster is still open! Medical Aids should investigate this man thoroughly. I dont know how many fillings he put in my mouth that werent needed, along with numerous other procedures and a botched root canal - all claimed for on the medical aid. Do not use this dentist.

Very friendly, but hugely over priced. R900 call out for Sunday. Then when claim came through medical aid another R2200 for being in the chair for 5 minutes for an injection and quick drain of a extracted wisdom tooth that had become inflamed.Billed for items that discovery says this kind of practice cannot bill for.Over R3000 seriously not impressed.

Just had an implant done by Dr Anton removed by another dentist because the whole implant was loose, skew and somehow on the wrong bone. Almost cost me the two teeth on either side of it aswell. Nice Man, Questionable dentistry. Be aware.

Dr Roux is absolutely an awesome doctor child of God and his service is perfect he is very careing about his patients and he loves what he does I would recommend any one to go to him and my three year old daughter love him thank you very much for doctors good work and passion for it Gods richest blessing

BE WARNED !!!!! . Dr Roux is extremely unprofessional, I cannot recommend him at all.First, he calls you in a diminutive form on your name or Daps while your name is on his ladder.Secondly, I went for a stop, I asked him to do only treatment that d fund before, on which he assured me he would. In the end I have an account for R2200 for which the fund does not pay.

Reception lady did not tell me doctor claim no more from medical aid when I called the 1st time ... she waited until I sat in the chair. I have dr. Roux asked to pull my select tooth because I could feel wear was not much of the tooth left. He did not want to do an emergency root canal, prescribed atiboiktika and told me to come back in a week for a crown. Note what I have to pay out of my pocket first and then claim back from the medical aid. I then made an appointment with another dentist for a second opinion and canceled Dr Rouxs sentence. Just to find out from the dentist that my molar has broken down against my gums and that tooth cannot be repaired, but rather should be pulled !! So Dr Roux worked on a tooth because it was irreparable and now sends me a nice bill that I now have to pay out of pocket and then he wanted to do another crown too !!!
