Be aware if you are price conscious. They quoted us R15 000 to fix two small holes, apparently they have to use porcelain to fill the teeth. At the end of the day we walked away having paid a R1000 for a 15 minute consultation without any resolution. I cant comment on their quality of work which from other reviews seems good. Just not for us.

I had a similar experience to one of the other reviews posted. Made an appointment citing a small hole in one of my teeth as the reason - they asked if I would like a full inspection done and I said yes, considering it had been around a year-and-a-half time since Id been to the dentist. Little did I know the full inspection would end up costing R2500 - this may be the standard rate considering the x-rays and other inspections done; but, it would have been helpful to be informed of the extensive cost beforehand.In addition, after the inspection, I was quoted nearly R100,000 to fix everything wrong in my mouth - immediately giving me financing options in pushing for me to get the work done. Admittedly, they did say that not everything was absolutely necessary for me to do but even just the necessities would cost me nearly R50,000 according to them.Went to another dentist who did recommend more than just a filling for the hole, but said the rest of the stuff I was quoted on was really not necessary.

I recently went for my first professional photo shoot, but felt a little self conscious about my smile. After using Smile Solutions, I had the cleanest and whitest teeth for my shoot. I had an appointment with Dr. Nel. She was very rough and it was very painful, and it was only a teeth cleaning session and x-rays! I had to tell her to stop at one point. She criticized the work of the orthodontist I go to, and he is an amazing orthodontist and highly recommended! I felt very uncomfortable and it was really expensive! It was almost 3-4 times the rate of other dentists. She was late for the appointment too. I feel she can be a little more sympathetic to patients and be more professional.

Dr Rita Nel is a great dentist, brilliant with kids and able to calm nervous clients. She has seen us after hours for emergencies and is always happy to assist. I love that she uses all the latest technologies, but does not try to sell procedures she does not think are worth it. We have been seeing her for years and my children love going to the dentist! Special mention of Christal Birk at reception who got me cake after a painful (but actually quite bearable) procedure!

Hi was in severe pain last night, I contacted many dentists to assist me. Dr R Nel assisted immediately to explain what is wrong, what can be done and even assisted with pain management. So thankful for her.

Excellent work and great proffesional service. They helped me afterhours to get me through a painful night. This service is on the pricey side but you get everything and more that you pay for.

Very very expensive! Take a normal dentist fee and multiply by 3 to 4 times the normal rate! Not for medical aids, they do not cover these extreme rates. Cash or card only!
