We visited the restaurant, what a pleasant experience. We can definitely recommend the pizza, good value for money and very tasty.

My hubby and I had his birthday dinner with friends a few years ago, the food was delicious. Decided to try the Sunday brunch this time, food was absolutely delicious (the mussels were exceptional!!), great service, a really lovely buffet spread and gracious hosts. Well definitely be back.

Manageress rude, stubborn wants to do things her way and not keep the clients happy. Not near enough protection from the rain and not prepare to think out of the box before a function and make alternative changes. Won’t see me again.

I had a wonderful party here and have come back the following day for breakfast.Wonderful hosts.And we absolutely loved the food.The setting is amazing with pool for the children.All set in the bush.

Great place to host an event like a wedding or other events. They have a beautiful little chapel for weddings or christening events. There is a play area for kids, and large gardens where kids can play in safety. The gardens are also great for photos. The restaurant prepare good food and they have a well-stocked bar. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

This is a wonderful wedding and function venue. I was here for a wedding in December 2018 and the setting was fantastic. The animals were close by and could we seen from the gardens, the staff were very helpful and the facilities were first class.

Fine restaurant, was here several times for dinner - a beautiful and safe location. Excellence meals and very friendly staff. Recommend steaks or other meat dishes, Pizza was very big, but crust not the best.

My wife and I were disappointed with Gabbata. It is meant to be one of the better establishments in this area, but in my opinion it is mediocre at best. Food was rushed, rubbery and generally unexciting.I can only hope we were there on an off day

This place has a restaurant that you can book even if you are not hosting an event. The food is very good. It also has a kids area which is very convenient.

The function at the boma was great and the staff, food and service was excellent. How-ever the room we stayed in was a complete letdown. Having a 4 star rating and considering the price charged, the room was by far to small. Guests should be warned that the rooms are so small, and do not have air conditioning. We only had a ceiling fan, and no water was supplied in the room. The view from the room however was great.

The food here is excellent, we were in a large group and special vegetarian dish was arranged. Really good and owners always around hands on managing things.

The lodge is like a real life Saffier and great value for money. You will not be sorry to host your event at this wonderful place. The management is very hands on and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’ll definitely host an event in the near future, because I was just a guest this time around. Plus an awesome place to take some good pictures or make wonderful memories. Enjoy your visit or stay... 😉

The wedding was fun and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think that there was a slight lack of seating outside while waiting for the start of the proceedings as well as the photos.

Ruined my sleepBreakfast needs some work. We had the Lodge Breakfast and it came covered in weird tasting basting/sauce with ruined it
