Went to a charming little restaurant here called SwaartSkaap. Had a great salad and there is a large garden for kids to run around.

Strongly recommended. Friendly owner. Beautiful place. Good service.

This is a gem situated in the east of Pretoria. There is a nice outdoor farmy feel, surrounded by smallholdings. Our 2 year old son loves to play on the toys. With enough space available, we can supervise him from a distance, whilst enjoying your coffee/breakfast/lunch. The food is good and affordable, with great service.

Staying in the Honeymoon suite, lovely quiet relaxing few days on my first few days holiday in South Africa, lovely room, double shower, jacuzzi bath, comfy large bed and welcoming atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and Maria was especially welcoming and helpful. Large beautifully landscaped gardens that are well kept and offer some great photographic opportunities of the local wild birds. Weve really enjoyed our stay and I hope to come back here again next time! Highly recommended A++++

Beautiful venue! Very atmospheric: makes one feel you are deep in the African bush, despite having Pretoria and Johannesburg on your doorstep.

Absolutely fantastic!! Food, accomodations, service. All of it, just perfect.

I stayed here for 1 night earlier this year, my experience was terrible. There was no-one around to greet me, when someone finally appeared they accosted me as if I was an intruder before finally realising I might be a guest. Then they lost my payment (which I had confirmed the day before).The place seemed empty but I got put in a tiny room right next to the kitchen, I had to step over the kitchens trash bags to get into my room.In the morning I was woken by the kitchen noises before sunrise, and the cherry on top, there was no hot water.Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.
