I used Intelligent Computing a few years ago when they werent this big and I received WORLD-CLASS service. It seems as though as they grow, their customer service decreases. Earlier this year I bought a laptop from them that had issues, they replaced it with another one. This laptop worked well for about 3 months and they took it in. Its charger got broken (the outside covering began to peel off and the wires got exposed; nearly shocked myself when I plugged it in). Anyway, that charger gets replaced and this 2nd charger doesnt even charge. I sent emails, nobody bothers to respond. Save yourself the trouble and go to companies that believe in customer service.

I sold my old laptops to Intelligent Computing via their sister website webuylaptops.co.za and I am so impressed with their service!They arranged a courier to pick up the laptops once I had approved their offer via email. They then inspected the laptops to make sure all was in order and before I knew it they had transferred the money into my account.Its great knowing my old laptops will be used again instead of ending up in a junkyard.I highly recommend them and would be happy to do business with them again!

They delivered my package on time and its exactly what I had ordered.

Bought a laptop from them earlier this year and it had some faults. I wasnt happy about how the first technician handled it, however Frank stepped in and did a great job.

Absolutely terrible service. Your emails are ignored, and when you call the store with your query, they tell you to email. Dont bother. There are plenty of other places to buy computers these days - Id really wish I didnt waste my time trying to contact this particular company.

Good day AndileThank you for your response on my review, but it does not change the situation for me.Allow me elaborate; one of my business laptops was dropped off for repairs at your premises (which have changed location from literally one side of Pretoria to the other) while this whole delay was happening. Had I been notified that you have changed location I wouldnt have had you carry out the repair but would have rather had a closer supplier look at it. I was called with a quote only two weeks later to which I approved the repair immediately not to delay the process. I was told the laptop will be ready in a couple of days. After I had to follow up another week later I was told the laptop is ready for collection. I send my driver the same day to the other side of the city only to find out that nothing has been done to the laptop yet. I only received the laptop back another week later, by sending the driver again to the other side of the city.So you see I cannot afford these kinds of delays in my business hence the reason my comments was never to use your service again and people should know what they getting into when dropping off a PC at Intelligent Computing.I hope this have now outlined my frustrations in dealing with you.

I bought and paid for an HP Compaq 8300 elite yesterday, the website said there was just one in stock and I was pretty excited because I know this computer and it was a good bargain. I had hesitated because I had never even heard of this business before and I considered just buying from a vendor I know at a higher price, but I said I cant let this deal pass by and dived in I paid the money, and waited. This morning one of the sales executives and/or owner called to tell me the computer I paid for was not available, there had been some mistake and I have to either accept a refund or a similarly speced Lenovo M-something Ive never even heard of. I decided to go ahead because I need the computer and the specs are pretty much the same and even though to me there is no equivalency between Lenovo and HP, the Lenovos he sells do not come with core i7 and he upgraded it to meet thate original deal which for a small business cannot be easy or cheap to do. I recognise your effort to make reparations for this but I really hope you dont allow something like this to happen again.

Incredibly disappointed with how horrendous the after sales service is. Good and well when chasing the sale but not after the fact. Bought the HP Probook which, everything was cool until I realised a few days later that a corner side of the hardware could not close tight causing the keypad and back to be quite loose when opened. I alerted them of this and the machine was collected for repairs. It then came back without the charger. Alerted them of this and they sent me a generic non HP charger that did not come with the machine. I reported this and was promised the original charger. 2 weeks later, absolute silence, still stuck with a charger that is half the length and causes the screen to glitch upon insertion. As a business youve got to be able to manage expectations and do damage control. Definitely never recommending the store nor making another purchase; which is unfortunate because as I mentioned, the pre-sales service was great.

OMW never again. This prices is great but the service is terrible and the staff is totally clueless as the one has no idea what the other is doing, so if you get something repaired here follow up frequently as you will end up running is Circles if you just leave it up to them.

Fastsm and convenient customer service

Placed a custom quote for a server. After a little back and forth regarding specification and delivery address. The order was placed and paid. A few minutes later I got a call from the sales lady about my order. The hard drives were unavailable in the quantity ordered. Her technical team had organized a different configuration but provided more space and more stability. Will update once the server arrives :D
