I was quite satisfied with the service and the staff were very friendly. I spilled water on my laptop and they were able to fix it for me in under 48 hours. The only reason why Im not giving them 5 stars is because I had to return the laptop after discovering that two of the USB ports werent working after they gave it back to me, but they fixed it for me right there on the spot while I waited so at least it was quick. I will return to them next time I have a problem with my electronics. Thank you LocaNet! :)

Great service, great touch, reasonable price

Staff are very friendly, but that is where it ends. Handed laptop in on Wednesday with an already identified problem. Promised a quote within 3-5 days. Monday got a phonecall to tell me that my laptop was faulty (exactly the problem identified the previous Wednesday) and they will prepare a quote. By Wednesday no quote. Thursday they promised that the laptop will be finished by Friday. I contacted the owner as I was not convinced. By Thursday late they indicated that they could not source the part. A week and a bit to find that out! Friday collected the laptop. In all fairness, the owner has been in contact and apologised but they will have to improve their service levels before I will go back. DO NOT MAKE PROMISES THAT YOU CANNOT KEEP!

Sent my Laptop in for Repairs, After two weeks I get a notice saying it will be repaired. On the day I picked it up they made me pay for a new hard drive and refused to give my old hard drive back with my valuable information on it and used a excuse someone had picked it up. They then called me to pick up the hard drive and tried to trick me by giving someone elses hard drive, I still havent got back my hard drive and I advise people not to use this service after my terrible experience.

Friendly staff to assist with all your laptop and PC neads

Had a discussion this morning and got the promise that it would be fixed by latest Saturday 28th. After 3 weeks of promises I went to the store waited there for 1 hour 30 minutes which should have been a 15 minute job, according to general manager Steven, but then the owner Frans du Bruyn also pitched at the store. Him and Steven then informed me that unfortunately the USB which they tried to repair for 1 and a half hour was once again broken by the tech as he cannot work under pressure and that they would bring my laptop during the day. Me and my wife refused, took the laptop was paid our money back and WAS PROMISED that the usb will be repaired on Monday 30 October at 16:30 by Steven. Needless to say that it was only but one of the empty promises I receive from Locanet. Never ever in my life would I visit the company again and I will inform all my friends to do the same. Such sloppy service !!!!!!
