Expected us to know how to repair biker gear, expected us to go buy our own material for the repair, not really sure of the exact price. What a waste of time to organise to be there in the week as repairer only works week days, but no clear understanding if and how to repair gear

22 February 2020: This morning was my 1st visit to Dubun @ Menlyn Retail Park. In less than 5 minutes my shoes heel tips - perfect fit - were perfectly replaced; no nails. Shoes look brand-new again. Im a VERY HAPPY customer. Thank you very much to Daniel who did the job. :)

Friendly service every now and then. They do not know how to fix a shoe. I have had 3 shoes repaired there and all 3 are torn again. I wont go back there. The last time I had clue stuck on top of my shoe. They didnt even bother to clean that up just to give a better quality service.

I used them to re-sole a favourite pair of motorcycle boots.Because they are in Pretoria and I live in Johannesburg, I used the courier model they advertise. Collection and delivery was flawless and the whole process took just a little over a week, which I think is excellent. My point of contact was Norman who is really on the ball - Thanks Norman!Pricing including courier costs was around R500 which is a good investment for top end motorcycle boots that cost R1000s. I do think the sole they fitted looks a little thin, but only time will tell.All in all a service that I am happy to recommend, and they make it easy to do business with them.

What a shocking experience! Dont be mislead by the smart name Dubun, i have recieved the most unsmart service ever.I brought in a leather handbag which needed the strap reglued and stitched. I also brought a pair of genuine Uggs which needed a small patch to be stitched to the side of both boots.They told me a week, and made me pay immediately.On the day of collection i recieved a phone call telling me the bag is ready but the boots are now at another branch........ the place ihad planned to take my goods, originally, before someone referred Dubun.I went there on the folliwing day, as instructed. No boots. They said come back Friday. Friday morning i recieved a phone call saying boots not ready, come tomorrow.I went again on Saturday, at closing time, i was given the bag which had not been done, and was told the boots are not back and they havent even repaired them yet. They quickly applied some glue to the bag strap just not to refund my money. Gave it to me with the glue still wet, its obviously not going to hold.I asked for my money back, and was refused. I still dont know the fate of those real Uggs.I will never come here again.

Dubun is a good place that does quality repair work. Yet I was a bit disappointed when collecting my shoes as shoemaker forgot to attach zip stoppers to my boots. Nevertheless, matter was quickly dealt with and zip stoppers were attached as I waited.

Excellent service and seems like good quality workmanship. Wil do business with them again any day.

Great work on my curtains.BUT for the price I had to pay,they could have handed it back clean,as it was cleaned professionally before I handed them in.The curtains I recieved back was dirty brownish dusty marks everywhere and the white looked horrible.They had to be cleaned again.Almost R2000 for alterations on 2 curtains....seriously you could have done better than that.
