What a great experience from start to end. Highly recommended. Don’t go anywhere else for your car radio and 4x4 electrical upgrades and add-on’s. Explained all the options and not like many other places trying to sell you the most expensive option. This is my second time I used Boomed Alive and I will not go anywhere else. Installed a new radio with Apple CarPlay… feels like I’m driving a new car😀. Thanks Aldo!

Wow. Excellent fast service. The business owner is involved hands-on with working on your car. Offered me quick troubleshooting and cost effective repairs, rather than outright replacement of the damaged. I didnt expect such fast service, but I was on my way again in less than 15 minutes.

This business has been here for a while. These guys know what they are doing and stick to their promises. Quality work and conveniently situated.I wouldnt go anywhere else. Pop in and make an appointment if they cant help you immediately... pop open your dashboard and have a quick look. They also use quality hardware that is reliable and does the job.

Recently installed a Sony Android media system at Boomed Alive. Product, salesmanship and service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this outlet for car media systems. They know what they are doing!

Went in to ask about interference that was coming through on my Rockford System from the rca cable and outputs... They were very helpful and friendly... Gave me some advice to correct the problem as well as giving me a audio bank sound filter box thats helps get rid of the interference at no charge! Just want to say thank you for the good advice and help!!

Great place. It doesnt look like much, but how much do you need to look at to get the best sound installed in your car. The customer service is phenomenal and their intentions are good, to help each other out. The quality of sound that these guys provide is of world class. I would definitely recommend these guys👌

You have uneducated staff that don’t know what they doing, incorrectly wiring my amplifier causing it to blow. Then you want to blame me for it? Train your staff on how to do their job correctly, people don’t have money to waste for your mistakes. Take responsibility for them.

I looked them up on Google and went to their store. These guys are really professional while still maintaining excellent customer relationships. Took 20min to get a new radio fitted and these guys are good. Thank you so much for the great experience.

**UPDATE**March 2019Its been a year after I met Aldo and his shop. The amount of changes and upgrades and tweaks he has done no my car audio is more than can be mentioned on one review. Aldo believes in client relationships. Support him and he will go 200 extra miles for you.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!March 2018I recently found Boomed Alive after being very discouraged with car audio installers in general.What I found was extremely friendly and very professional service. The post sale service is outstanding. I regularly phone Aldo or stop at the shop for fine tuning on my car audio system and they are always willing to help or have a look at no additional cost. They have systematically upgraded my previous aftermarket system with no problems whatsoever and at a price that is more than reasonable.Ive been swapping components and shops for 10 years and my system has never preformed this good.

Very good sound systems but poor (at least professional, but poor) service. I went there for a quotation, basically showing them what my plans are. They were very condescending in a way that only kicker audio is good, if you don’t buy kicker you might aswell leave it totally. I only had R10 000 to spend and they quoted me R12000 for an entry level kicker system

After paying a hefty school fee for using Alberton Discount Radio, I was referred to BOOMED alive. Went there on Monday and explained to them what was wrong. They asked me to come back on Thursday to check it out. Within two hours my entire system was fixed and everything setup as it should be. Extremely happy I found these guys. A definite MUST for all your car audio needs! Very friendly and knowledgeable and no BS either!

I am writing this review whilst sitting in my car listening to the sound system that BOOMEDalive has installed a few days back. I know myself. When it comes to sound quality I am not easily impressed. Im a bit ocd when it comes to that I think. Maybe its because of my many years as a dj or just because of the love relationship Ive had with music all my life.. Well these guys have delivered! All round impressive. Aldo and Shannon got fantastic sound quality out of my x3 using the best equipment and materials and professionally installed it completely unobtrusively and very creatively. All within my budget. If you are also a person who doesnt just listens to music but also FEELS it I would recommend them a 1000%. Henk Davel

Hi there. I have no idea where the 1-star is coming from, so I can understand that you guys are very upset. I get notifications from Google all the time to rate places and should have accidentally given a 1 star when I wanted to swipe it away. Anyway, here is my review: I give it a 3-star, with the following reasons:1. With the installation you promised to call me as soon as my car was ready (+ - 2 hours), because we were in a hurry. You guys saw exactly what I gave you and in no time told me that anything was missing or that the rest of my dashboard screens were going to stop working (I assumed the steering wheel controls would not work). You knew it was a single-din radio. You never called me and when I called you after 4 hours you just let me know my car was ready.2. When you put the OEM radio back on, you did not return the trim that came around the radio. Because my dad went to pick up the car, he did not know that anything was missing. Because of this I can not get a refund at Takealot, so I lost R900 there.3. You have skewed the panel above the radio. I then took down the panel to see what was wrong and made sure you 2 broke off some of the clips. I then glued the clips back myself and put the panel right back on.Furthermore, I have no problem with your work. I accept that the origin of all the problems is the low-quality product I asked you to install. I appreciate the effort you put in and would like to give a better review, but can not ignore that there were indeed mistakes on your part. I hope this removes any confusion and I once again apologize for the 1 star.If you would rather I delete the review, please let me know and I will do so.
