We had a coffee there yesterday. We decided to have Rooibos, Cappuccinos and an Ice Latte. Unfortunately, the cappuccinos were both cold. We tried the cakes, and the carrot cake was sensational. Id definitely recommend coming to The Daily.

Very impressed by the quaintness and cosy-clean feel that this tiny place packs! I had the absolute BEST and LARGEST carrot cake of my life and did not need any dinner after that. I wish I had time to check out the rest of the menu but I wouldnt hesitate to go back, one of the better places in the area to meet up with someone either professionally or even for a quick date

Good food and service.They are more than willing to accommodate requests not on the menu and do not charge exorbitant prices to do so.Their menu isnt bland, and their food combinations are international fusions of ideas and tastes.Their combinations work well. Try dishes like thier chicken and potato stack or angry beef pot and many other for you will not be disappointed.Their coffee selection is also good.

We had a really sweet waiter and the service was great. My mom had a cheese tomato sandwich - quality ingredients was very good, just a bit dry round the edges. The wraps are so good and bursting with flavor. The best was my order. I had an eggs benadict with a twist. Its a delicious potato waffle topped with spinach, two eggs, holandise sauce and 3 rashes of bacon for under R70. So impressed. I swapped the eggs for mushrooms and they were happy to accommodate. Best dish off a breakfast menu Ive had in ages.

First impression will always be my last. One morning I came very early for my daily coffee. What I saw touched my heart. The owner and the staff were making a big circle in the middle of the shop and started praying. That was their first priority for the day and that is how all businesses should run. God will bless the daily till end of times. Keep on doing it.

Lovely place nestled in the south of Pretoria East. Its a gem. Staff are friendly, management runs the place well, it seems, and the menu is diverse and well priced. Worth the drive and the time and money youll spend there.

Best sugary cinnamon pancakes and on Fridays they have a special on pancakes. And of course the great coffee!

I love this little place. Their coffee is good as is their quiche and cheese and bacon scones, however I feel their food prices are pricey if you look at the quantity that you are getting.

Absolutely lovely! Not just are the staff friendly and helpful towards the people clients, but they gave extra attention to the four legged fur clients, by providing a nice clean blanket, water bowl and dog biscuits! Higly recommended for anybody who does not want toe leave home without their doggo!

Very nice waiter (Oros) and really nice ice tea. I was in pta for the weekend and I normally go to the one in cpt by sea side village. Id highly recommend them for breakfast food. They are a bit pricey but the portions are very large so it is well worth it.

Excellent service at table. Noisy, maybe a coffee grinder forms part of the ambience BUT not if this is all you hearb the entire time. Coffee very good and fresh. Parking early morning ok but rest of the day pretty much a nightmare. Castle Walk not known to be parking friendly. That said, I will try again to see if they added a silencer on the coffee grinder.

Visited regularly but on last two occasions received terrible service, actually no service. Went for breakfast this morning 10 min later left as nobody even acknowledged that I was sitting and waiting to order. Not even looking at me walking past but ignoring my table. Very disappointed. Will take my business elsewhere and encourage my others to do so too.
