The place looks clean and it is honestly amazing👏♥️.. they attended to us as soon as we got there and directed us to where we were supposed to sit.The downside was the amount of time they took to prepare our meal. We waited for over 30 minutes and it wasnt even how we wanted our steak ... otherwise, I recommend the place

Food tastes amazing, great view. A lot of parties hosted which can make it quite loud if you’re sitting outside. Not sure if there’s minimal staff members but we had to ask for our waiter more often as he would disappear. Prices are reasonable as well.

I love this place because their food is delish and portion sizes are generous.However, my partner and I went for lunch on Friday and we both ordered seafood mains. The portion was tiny! 🤦🏻‍♀️ My mussel starter that I had had on a previous occasion was more filling than this. So I was quite disappointed.Baobab, dont cut down on portion sizes! People like this restaurant because the food is tasty AND the helpings are generous.

Walking in I was already doubting our decision to eat here. The waiters were acting like you were doing them a service to eat there, there were no place settings on the tables and the service was just a disappointment. You do expect more from a place where most main courses are upwards of R200. I got my Eisbeine and... Was actually blown away, probably the best I had in Pretoria.I can not say anything about the rest of the menu, but yes if you eat anything here, you cant go wrong with the Eisbeine

Wow I regret going to the Wonderboom branch today, food was cold, menu was limited but no prior notice was given, served by 5 different waitors... The entire experience was beyond APPALLING! If I could I was going to rate them less than 0. To top it all upon paying the Bill the waitor did not utter a word to us... Despite giving him a tip after this service!!! I will ever ever set foot again!

A Good variety food, wine and gin selection, we had fillets Which were 3/5 star. I asked for medium rear and they accidentally made it well done. Though it didnt turn out that bad but it still didnt level with my high expectations from the look and feel of the environment. Definitely a great place to have a meeting or family dinner as the place is very spacious and has a good tone to it. Soft Jazz and chill music in the background but service is slightly slower than the usual waiting time at a restaurant. If youre looking for a great vibe I definitely recommend it but if youre aiming to impress someone with food Id definitely recommend looking further than this location.

A bit of a mediocre experience. The service and attentiveness in my view, could have been better. Had the rump with fries with their creamy garlic sauce. The steak was OK, and the sauce was a bit runny and lacked flavour. Enjoyed their mango frullato.

Had their ribs and wings, i must say they were great, my friend ordered their beef burger it didnt look nice, it was unappetizing and dry, he had to order something different and commented even a R40 Big Mac looked better than this. Their dessert were okayjust okay.3 star rating is fair coz i think they are more focused on grills and just add other things on the menu just to give their customers opinions.

Bought the mixed grill, was disappointed that the meat was just cooked as it is . No spice whatsoever. It was my favourite meal at baobab Cafe, but I guess I gotta take it off the meals to buy whenever I go there if therell be another time.

This is a shockingly, amazingly wonderful restaurant with a breathtaking African and animal safari ambiance inside. The booths are private and frankly romantic, like caves. The food variety is wide and I enjoyed Rump steak in Avocado and mash room sauce. Overexcellent. This a very welcoming place. If you dont know it, you should try it.

Very good restaurant. The wine list is very well designed and has some great options. The food is also of very high quality. But the place were this restaurant shines out is their cocktail menu and view of the mountains on their deck. The service is also excellent and very friendly. I would like to specifically applaud our waitor Wesley for his witty service. He went out of his way to make my birthday special and the proposal next to us even more special. Over all I do recommend this restaurant.

Can you give a place zero stars?? HORRIBLE service!! And that on mothersday too 😔 so sad. We took our mother for what we thought would be a lovely mothersday brunch..complete opposite. We sat down just before 11am (to annoyingly loud music bursting on a Sunday), saw the waiter once and ordered coffee..didnt see him again until after 12. We continuously had to call other waiters around us and ask for assistance. Once we ordered starters from our actual waiter we waited about 40min..slow but we wrote that off to the restaurant being a little bussier than usual. Never saw our waiter again...had to call other waiters around us still. We finally got to ordering mains only around 14h20!! We waited..and waited..AND waited. No one came to give us an update on how long the food will take or even once asked us if everything is still okay..no one..after another an hour of waiting we called a waiter over to ask if they could please go see what is going on..he said the food will be ready soon..another 30min later we asked another waiter to call the manager because we have been waiting over an hour!! He then said sorry and left..after another 20min we finally got our food..just to have all the sauces mixed up and most of the food over done and dry (ordered steaks and fish). The manager eventually asked if they could offer us a free drink or dessert..as if we were wanting to wait ANOTHER hour for that?? We were all already in such a bad mood by that time, we were more happy to shove that dessert where the sun doesnt shine. We then urged my mother to take a slice of cheesecake home since we werent going to stick around for dessert..and we left around 16h00..very irritated and let down. Will never go back again and 100% NOT recommend this restaurant.
