Service was excellent. Never in past had such good service. Person that assisted me was Johannes. Made sure to give me correct package and relative information. Dreaded to go but all I can say highy recommended after this experience. Excellent!

The waiting on the que takes too long. I came here today and there were only 3 people working. Each customers issue took almost 1 hour to solve. Although there is one person who goes around finding out about peoples problems, it does not help much though. I foresee a person leaving after 2 hours of waiting here. Mtn should bring more consultants to attend to customers.

Been trying to move my contract from somebody elses name into my own. Was given a form for the other person to sign and was told all I have to do is bring it back with my bank statements and latest pay slip and they will do the transfer. Upon doing this I was told that they cannot help me because their branch hasnt been able to do this for the last week because of some system error. The employee also seemed more focused on her cellphone than on her customers.She then told me to go to the other mtn in Menlyn and then they told me that the other person HAS to also be with me when doing the transfer and that the document I signed didnt make a difference.Staff are not trained properly and there always seems to be internal miscommunication. Rather than the staff knowing how all processes in mtn work, knowledge seems to be compartmentalised and you can only hope that when you visit mtn you find someone who knows something.

There is no sense of customer service: there is one or two servce agents and a waiting time of 45 minutes plus. You sign in on a sheet but there is no proper queue and they pop in anyone anytime, no matter how long youve been waiting. Oh, and they just shrug their shoulders and day the system is slow. I wanted to see the manager (Friday afternoon) and was told he will only be in on Monday. Pathetic.

Pathetic service,I am done paying for my phone.I called to cancel my contract but they continued to debit my account.I went into a branch in menlyn and my contract was due for cancelation 7 July 2021,but still they are sending me the bill statements.

Pathetic!!! No customer service whatsoever!! Nobody knows what they are doing. They dont care about the clients. They will chase you up and down for days but wont even give the product you pay for. Pity I cant give a zero star rating

Incompetent staff, stood for almost an hour and the person behind the counter could not work te system, a colleague showed them on their computer, he walkes back and could still not replicate the steps on his own, ends up treating me poorly because he was an incompetent person.

I ordered a phone from them. Was told would maybe arrive in a days time but definitely in two days. It has been 5 days since we ordered and employe keeps telling us the next day and and the next day that it will arrive and it never does which is false hope would not recommend this branch

After long and winding battle with Vodacom, I decided to visit Menlyn Maine MTN store. Ivan went out of his way to assist me in resolving my issue and activate 2 new accounts. Great service is for some reason a rare find these days - thanks Ivan for great friendly service and making my day.

The process was quite lengthy to open a data account, but the staff was very friendly and helpful through the whole experience. There was a problem with the sim activation the following day and I had to phone in. However, the gentleman who answered the phone helped me out and got the problem sorted out. All in all, a positive experience and Im happy with the deal that I got with them.

After a disastrous attempt to do my contract upgrade with my local store MTN Hartbeespoort - which must qualify for having THE most unhelpful staff on the planet - it was such a refreshing experience to deal with Mr William Rasakanya from the MTN Menlyn store. Not only is he friendly, curtious and knowledgeable on the products, contract options etc, he went out of his way to ensure I get quick feedback in order to expidite my renewal since I will be travelling overseas shortly. Lo and behold, what was supposed to take up to 3 days, took a morning only. Well done guys! I am seriously impressed.

A nightmare from the beginning, with 2 contracts. i made once and the second time it was a mistake. they are too quick to deduct your money but the employees will always tell you they are offline when they have to be assisting you.Now i just called all the possible numbers, the switchboard does not assist in anything as well. MTN is a big mistake never to be made again. i am glad my contract has ended, having counting seconds just hope they do not deduct anything, we over, if they do i am engaging my lawyer.

They are terrible. I think they really need training urgently. Most of them lack basic skills to do their work. I had to tell one how to do his job today. However, they is one guy called Siyabonga who at least understand what he is doing.

Trying for 2 days to activate a simcard. After being on the phone, Was told by the Call Center that it needs to be Ricaed. Givem the Rica Dept no, they dont do it telephonically anymore...have to go to a store. Went to the bank with a sick child to get proof of residence only to be told in store that Rica has been done. Baco home still same error, Call center sending me back to the store...🤬🤬🤬

My husband did an upgrade which was ok, but he applied for an extra line which turns out to be a nightmare. They promised to phone back and never did. When you phone to query they are always busy. But walk into the store they are absolutely doing zilch. I will be taking this issue further. Junaid if have read this message,then you know who it is.

Such terrible service...waited 2 hours before i was helped on 4 October 2016. few consultants, terribly slow system which went offline two times. it was as if we came to vote...we should have brought water, food and a cushion to sit on :-(applied for contract on 4 October 2016. it took a month for the consultant to communicate the progress. today is 16 November 2016...still no word...no device.

Wish I could give a zero star rating! I handed in a phone for repairs on 11 November 2017 for repairs and after 2 weeks decided to call the repair center to follow up on the repair status. According to the repair center they have not received the phone yet. The process of booking in the phone took well over an hour and now they cant locate the phone!
