Definitely not the biggest and grandest of the checkers stores but you can get most household stuff here very efficient check out points

This is suitable for most groceries and some stationers. The opening hours are convenient and theres ample parking.

One of the most advantageous of buying stuff at checkers is that they have all the same product everywhere. I visited many checkers and I bought food at the same price and same test.

Very clean. Very neat, great specials. Only problem is, at peak times they do not have nearly enough tills operational to help the overflow of feet currently in store. I see people walking out and leaving full trollies because they wait to long. This is a trend in the specific store and have been for a while.

Every single time I bought from this Checkers something was not packed and stayed behind in the store.

The store is clean however the staff is extremely rude. Had an encounter with one of the staff at the money market today. She was so rude and incompetent it left me wondering how she was hired to begin with.

We are extremely shocked at the poor control over people entering Checkers. No social distancing. People walk in 2x2. One stand in the queue whilst the others shop. And blocks the rows. The floor manager just shrugs! People in the express till has no distancing, whilst people from the back push and push. Once again floor manager just shrugs it off. Very good breeding field for corona. Poor service delivery

The worst service in a franchise. Staff unwilling to assist. Money market staff not equipped to assist public. Shop reeks of rotten goods when you enter.

They have a great variety of cooked food, salads, dessert, fish, fruits and more. There store is always clean. They have discounted meals when its almost closing time. They also have great imported coffee beans and their bakery makes delicious doghnuts, pastries and cakes. They also have a great selection of cheese.

I just went there to buy fish for lunch as usual me and my colleague, to my sprise when we got there, there was a lady cleaning the fish dishes wiping oil, we did not take anything into consideration, but we bought fish, when we got to the office the fish was full of oil, I dont know if you have changed your staff or what but please give you current staff some workshop on how to do your fish best,

This is our community checkers. Not to be biast but never had any issues here. Management always on the ball and staff are always helpfull. Products are top notch as per checjers standard. Only complaint would be till staff. Always accommodating but uninteractive at times.

The shop itself is up to standard and cant complain about it but the staff take this store from a 4 star to a 1 star. Definitely the unfrienliest staff Ive ever come across.

Always been my favourite place to shop but have not been back for a few months because the things i usually buy are not on the shelves month by month. This is extremely frustrating. I then need to go elsewhere to get what i want. Bioclassic washing powder but one example of many. Please stock your shelves especially when you know the dates when shoppers flock to the stores to buy groceries such as the 16th and end of the month. I like the shopping experience at Pretoria North Checkers and the warmth of the staff but need to be able to buy what i want please.

Not so convenient. In a small shopping center & situated deep in passage of the center. Small a bit congested inside.but you can find most of home needs. even freshly baked bread & cookies.

I just love your shop...but had a bad experience yesterday while shopping..at the veggies some of your workers were working on the fridges moving stuff and was standing in the way and when I ask to pass please they just ignored me and carry on talking..as this is not the first time your workers are rude I think it is time to let you know..the other day in shop and old man ask for something and they did the same ..ignored him anf carry on talking..otherwise its my favourite place to do my daily shopping

The selection is good. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Love doing my shopping there and buy my groceries 99.9% of the time there.

Its a great store for the locals in the area, and they always have freshly baked bread, cookies and most of all the best freshly made fish!!!

Very neat and modern shop where you can get anything you are looking for.

My only concern is their seafood department. One has to wait for 30minutes because theres one worker working there. The lady must fry the fish and still serve customers.. This is really an inconvenience really.

Dont go during month end it gets very busy but the staff is friendly and helpful definitely will come back again.

I very seldom find the staff to be friendly at all. Today I promised myself not to shop there again. Only one to assist at the counter for accepting e.g. Telkom payments and no-one for handling the lotto machine. I dared ask for someone to come help only to get snubbed. Never again will I set foot in that store.
