Pack a picnic basket and go into the outdoors a little. Best would be to leave all electronics at home and spend some time in the outdoors. It has improved a lot since the last time I was there and things seem to be going better again. The waterfall has running water again and the restaurant inside the garden is open for business again. They offer lovely little pre packed picnic baskets.

Nice place to go for a walk or a run. Beautiful gardens, well maintained. Will recommend it to anyone.

The botanical gardens are a small haven from the city, great for picnics, and theres a paved walk of about 3 kilometres. Theres a fair amount of bird life, plenty of trees and a small waterfall. A good outdoor restaurant too. Overall, the infrastructure is deteriorating due to poor maintenance, and the plant life needs more care. But still worth a visit.
