Great place to stay. My wife was alone at the accommodation today and they went out of their way to make sure she is comfortable. House is awesome, clean and neat. Breakfast was also great. Staff very friendly.

The bed is rocky ,no convenient heater system. The head board makes sounds that make it difficult to sleep. The bathroom door on top had no glass for sealing, we washed with cold air getting through the bathroom. No patio as advertised. No correlation between picture and real accommodation. Please upgrade standards.

The host (Ross) and staff (Nana) are super friendly. The upkeep is quite grand for an establishment 40 years old. So if youre looking for a place with rich history, definitely a good idea.

The owner welcomed us with love i really felt like home the staff was so helpful aswell i really found my second home the place is quiet vintage style if you wanna relax thats were you can go alone with friends or partner... This is a tiny heaven for all antique lovers. The place is very beautiful and the breakfast was great. What you see in these beautiful pictures is what you get upon arrival and the rest of your stay. The welcome was quite warm as well. Will be visiting again 😊

We went for a romantic night away. The room was beautiful. The veranda and pool area are both lovely. The staff were communicative and went the extra mile to assist. They arranged an in-room massage treatment which was divine. It also looks like theyre planning to put in a jacuzzi and full spa facilities so we look forward to going back.

We have really been surprised by the tranquility and classic atmosphere of the Constantia Guest Lodge. We felt at home from the start, the staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, and plan to visit again.

A unique Cape Dutch architecture house which is situated in Pretoria, close to Pretoria National Botanical Garden. The interior is well maintained, along with all those vintage wooden furniture. It gives a feeling that youre going back to the beautiful past ♥ . With a few of the rooms it has, it gives proper tranquility for the guests who want to sit back and relax in its vintage looking lobby, or by the pool side, or the lapa. Thanks to Faith who gave us a nice, tasty breakfast 🍳🥓😍. Just for suggestion - I guess the light in the bathroom - if it was brighter, will be a lot better.

The place is a bit spooky, it is great if you love antique guesthouses with a vintage feel. But if like me, youre more modern it might give you the creeps. The bedrooms are also rather small.

We had a very cosy stay back in February and really enjoyed the unique décor and design of the building. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and informed us that the lodge was under a bit of renovation and maintenance - which is always a good thing! Our breakfast was good and cleanliness was satisfactory. The only issues I would raise is that not every room comes with an en-suite bathroom and that the floorboards can be quite noisy at times when there is high traffic of other guests. Otherwise not a bad stay!

I often visit to meet up with clients and it is a safe and professional setup that always impresses my clients. The EPIC EXEC Womans Networking group enjoys their monthly meetings in the gorgeous sitting room.

This place has no parking space... rooms are clean but there is that constant smell... tiny tv set inside the wardrobe. Beds are squeaky ... wooden floors are loose. Everything looks perfect until you get there.These clowns wont even give you WIFI access.3 nights felt like 3YEARS...

The guesthouse was lovely! But the mattress in our room (the Cabernet room) had collapsed in the upper middle and was barely usable.The staff said they had just noticed when cleaning the room and said they will replace it, but did not offer us a new room for the second night.When the guesthouse comments on this review that they have replaced the mattress I will update the rating to a 5 :).

Its a quiet place with excellent staff and beautiful comfortable rooms! I also loved the history imbedded into the place!

The place is good and quiet good for relaxing

Not recommended at all. Room was dirty, smelled of wet dog. Bathroom was dirty, extractor fan sounded like it was going to explode any time. Prices agreed on before hand changed the next day when I had to pay. Owner just sits outside and smokes the whole time and seems irritated when disturbed. Stay away

I had an awesome, it is a lovely place...very safe and clean

Terrible place, aircons dont work like they should, hot as hell in the room, feels dirty when you walk in. We left after checking in. Then the management lies to the booking agent saying everything was fine, but i caught them out and getting my full refund. Really disappointing.
