What a little gem. The hostess and staff were warm and friendly. The rooms so tidy and cosy, absolutely delicious breakfast, you met all our needs. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will pop in for a stay again in the future for sure!

I stayed here a while back and completely forgot to leave a review!The guesthouse itself is immaculate. The premises are beautiful, clean, and an absolute delight to experience.The owners/hosts were extremely friendly, and so accommodating of our late arrival time.The rooms are pristine and so comfortable!We truly enjoyed our stay, and appreciated all the effort and attention to detail from the hosts.Definitely would re-visit if given the chance!!

It was so much more than we expected. Every attention to detail was made. The breakfast, (at a very reasonable price) was the perfect ending to a perfect stay. The owner takes obvious pride in what she does. Will definitely recommend.

Owners took us in at 20h00 on evening 17 December 2020 we were stranded from Bloemfontein no booking, twas raining and were moving house, They were very welcoming and friendly, great hospitality, cosy rooms, exquisitely clean and immaculate... what a place to stay... cheers my wife enjoyed her stay.

This place is perfect for a couple of days stay...rooms are beautifully designed. When you enter the room/s you dont wanna leave. My wife was very impressed so much so that she wanted to cancel our pre-booked rooms which was around the corner from this place.

The name says it all, a quaint but homely feeling resounds from this guest house accompanied by friendliness and eagerness to make us as comfortable as possible. The setting is fantastic, a great place to stay I will keep going back.

Lovely guest house with very friendly people. Cleanest rooms with the softest towels! Massive, very tasty breakfast.

Wow! One of the best guesthouses Ive ever visited. The rooms decor is beautiful and very clean. One of the few guest houses that has a mirror and several electrical plugs at the mirror cabinet. We also enjoyed relaxing outside at the entertainment area. Thank you very much for your hospitality Johan. 10 out of 10 for Bush Thorn Lodge.
