Awesome Shopping experience.Great verity of items, had plans to go visit a few stores on the day to get groceries. Ended up finding 90% of everything I needed on that day making it convenient for me. The staff is friendly and the service was fast. Definitely worth a revisit when Im in the area.I also noticed they have fruit plants available just as you enter to your right. I love gifting with them now a have another place I can buy them when Im in the area.

I work in the area and I visit almost every day. Its a beautiful Checkers and it is a joy to visit. The service at the salad counter and the deli however is sadly lacking though. Today I waited forever for someone to assist me with pricing. This happens almost every time I want to buy something from there. You can see staff in the back busy with preparations but no one assist the clients. More than once I have seen people just put down their selection and leave. I really believe you can do better.

One of the best Checkers to ever visit. From the friendly security guards to the enthusiastic staff members. The food is always fresh and ever so well kept. Lots of varieties in alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic. The place is always clean and the queues are always moving at a fast pace. The trolleys are sanitized after every use and sanitizing stations are available upon entrance. I would advice you to make this your to-go store if you are local. Its a definite yes from me. :)

I get all my fresh produce from Checkers Loftus! The shop is clean and easy to navigate around, plus it has an ambiance to it

Great supermaket in a nice, recently completed location. If you are a Checkers fan, this shop is a go-to. Service speed is up to par, products are numerous (bread is surprisingly cheap here) and the area is always bustling with activity. Remember not to mistake this with a Checkers Hyper, this is just a normal Checkers supermaket, but quite large with the entrance completely separated from the exit

This checkers has a very convenient layout. Baked goods, fruits, meat & fish are always fresh. It is very clean and even though it seems like they are no longer a Linda McCartney stockist. However, they stock various Frys foods.

I absolutely love this checkers, but I was very disappointed to arrive at 19.45 (15min before closing) to quickly buy 1 important thing, but the store was completely locked up!

Once again I went there after work and till are closed with lone to the back of the shop....convenient, clean decent but service is dreadful 5 star for everything else but 1 star no.....0 stars for quick service.....

Absolutely great checkers, I love doing my shopping there. Yesterday was even extra special when buying their fresh yummy oysters. Mpho and Kea made my evening, their service was absolutely amazing

They could be more organised at the tills. After waiting in the queue, I was told I need to go to a different cashier, not once, but twice. So irritating!

This Checkers is built like a Woolies and it SHOWS! Its got lovely counters where you can get fresh food and its got everything you could ever want from a normal Checkers. Its just more beautiful and well set out. It makes me very happy. This is probably my favourite Checkers and its very conveniently located as well. :)

Good shopping experience

This is one of the best Checkers outlets in the country, not the biggest that must be said. The coffee bar right by the entrance with bar type seating makes sets it apart. The deli section is just on point. The location is another favourite feature for me, situation right at the heart of the Loftus Park Centre and surrounded by a few great dinning options. My favourite Checkers thus far

If you like soup, go and try their ready made soup from the deli... Sarah is the lady that makes the soup. Trust me that is one lady that knows how to make soup!! Her mushroom soup is not your plain boring mushroom soup, its the best I have ever had.

Easily the best Checkers I have ever been to... Not too busy, always clean, friendly staff, great location and you can often find what you need. Its amazing.

Shocking organisation at the tills. Its the start of the month so Checkers should know it will be very busy and make the necessary arrangements. Standing in the queue for more than 15 minutes and not even close to the front. And all this for four items. Just poor management.

Clean, well-stocked, well-staffed store. I never wait long at the till points; the shelves always have ample stock and a wide variety of products. The fresh produce and deli sections are amazing with the best quality products around. Friendly staff are always around and willing to assist.

Bakery could use some tending to, they keep on selling me rolls from the previous day even though they bake them fresh every day. I even had one of the ladies who assisted me admit that they sell the previous days rolls as fresh. I end up wasting my money on bread that doesnt last a more than a day cuz its already stale to begin with.

Has absolutely everything you need. The prepared food is great and while there was one hygiene incident a while ago, it was promptly sorted out by the managers.Very big selection of pretty much everything you could want and at very good prices.They have boerewors rolls and pancakes at the front of the store and a coffee bar as you enter which is very convenient!

Thee most cleanest Checkers Ive been to. The service from the food department to the tills was absolutely outstanding. I am absolutely wowd. Checkers Loftus, you deserve an award for Outstanding Service from your staff and The most clean Checkers in Gauteng.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of hot and cold ready-made foods to choose from including fish and chips, salads, sushi and pies. Everything is very reasonably priced. They have a lovely selection of fresh fish and meat and freshly baked bread, cookies and cakes. There is also a mobile coffee bar for buying take-away coffee.

A clean Checkers with underground parking available. The atmosphere is friendly and their service is good. They stock quite a variety, but its not as big as the one in Menlyn. Great for groceries.

So i went there on the 1st or 2nd of July to collect money at the money market. I normally would use till one. It was the third time i had collected money here, my tenants pay me their rent through money market as they do not have access to other means.This time around though, i was told that they dont pay out money more that R1500 at money market since 2018. I was shocked at this because just last month, i had drawn R3900 there. I dont know if the cash attendants were poorly informed or what. So i had to go to Shoprite to go do it. That was a bit of an inconvenience for me.

This store is very well laid out. If you follow the aile description boards, its easy to complete your shopping quite quickly. This store is well stocked and a good one stop shop.

This is by far the best checkers in Gauteng, the flagship concept us really cool as the shop is organized, well stock, they have everything. The new display is quite easy to navigate through, the staff seems more friendly and courteous unlike their reputation. There loads of parking around too.

Small and confusing you dont know where to enter and where to exit. The racks are in different directions. And they only have a small offering from the range that checkers is famous for.

Sometimes running out of stock on specific products.Trading hours makes it convinient people leaving to work around 8am as well as those who are knocking off later but before 8pm.Service is okay even queues are rarely long.

A fun game they like to play here is to advertise items at a special price and then charge you something different. If you can realise in time, you win!

Best Checkers Ive shopped at. The entrance and fresh food/deli sections remind me of an upscale Woolworths. Great restaurants nearby too.

Supervisors need to monitor queues during rush hour however love the 50% discounts.

Seems like a flagship store - well designed and very nice to shop in. Some staff not too eager to assist though.

Exelent Shopping Mall and Checkers. Lots of secure under roof parking. Have a large elevator. Quick easy access to all shops.

Parking is a nightmare, the shop is big and has all the items. Everything is fresh. Queues are not long and always moving.

Will never set foot back in this store again, i got severe food poisoning from their mini prepared bbq chicken burgers. This resulted in costly medical bills. I would not recommend this store to anyone. I believe that they are not capable of managing all of their fresh produce (maybe because its a new store)

Very nice Checkers. The quality of the food and fish is not the same everyday, it seems like it depends who is on duty. Somedays the fish is prepared to perfection and somedays it looks like they placed the fish in the fryers and forgot about it. When the shop opened in 2018 the staff was helpfull and eager to assist. You could asked the staff anything in the shop and they will assist you, but that was when it opened. The situation is not the same anymore. This store deserve 4 star rating however because if the inconsistency of the food a 3 star is still to high

Loftus Checkers is a very special. Do visit it and buy s potplant and fresh fish. Allow enough time yo lunch or enjoy dinner. An interesting selection of restaurants including a mexican restaurant.

This has been the prettiest checkers I have been in as to date. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there seems to be a lot of products. The layout confused me a bit, but Im easily confused and did not pay a lot of attention, so that might also be a factor.

Almost seems like a Woolworths when walking in. Cheap coffee and bakeries for sale at counter and over all, a great grocery shop.

Unfortunately today was the third time in the last 2 months that we discovered that food we bought from Checkers Loftus was bad.The first was chicken pieces that was rotten, second pre-packed fresh fruit that was badly bruised and mouldy, and today again beetroot humus was found to be covered in mould.I have heard comments from friends and colleagues of similar experiences.Small items not worth the time and effort to make a fuss over but really disappointing given the new look of the shop. We thought they were giving WW a good go at the quality end of the food retail line. Is there something going wrong with the cold chain? Might there be other problems that we are unaware of?Sadly suspect that the very good start-off with this store is something of the past. Will think twice before shopping here again.

It is absolute fantastic shopping at Loftus Checkers. The service is excelent. Staff are well trained and very helpful. I will most defnitely give it a 5 star rating
