Great pantries and coffee love the setting friendly staff took some bread to snack on.

Overall a nice experience. The café late was hot as requested, but a bit on the weak side. The place is beautiful and the pastries looks delicious. The waiters are a bit unfriendly, but not rude. Will definitely come back to eat.

We had some really lovely pastries and coffee at Bakehouse. Good friendly service. We will definitely return and even taste some Pizza or something else on their menu.It is worth a visit!

Terrible place and very poorly managed, I will give them the benefit of the doubt if they were new and still trying to find the sweet spot customers, they are not that new and by now should have figured it out. But I have never seen them coming around and asking customer if they have any issues, not just with the food but the whole experience and thats where the problem is I beleive, the seats for example, they are very hard and uncomfortable, the tables are so tiny hardly 2 people can eat with ease. Then the choice of crockery, the coffee cup has such a tiny hole, nobody can pick it up, and then the parking, on the street is horrific, but to be fair, its not their fault, its just the hazard of being in a residential street with no proper parking.

This and amazing destination for a french styled breakfast, it has many options for everyone, the atmosphere was brilliant, the service was exceptionally pleasing and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse if you are in the area

They are busy, but with reason. They have affordable pastries which are delicious and coffee to match.I would definitely have a lovely roast with breakfast and end it off with desert! They will definitely being seeing me again for brunch😜

Thoroughly enjoyed the cakes, fairly priced as well, one of the best bakers in Pretoria. Highly recommend it. My favourite so far is the almond croissant.

It was very busy during our visit there for breakfast, which was enjoyed by the group. They did not had any fruit juice available on the menu, which I find to be disappointing. Other wise it was a good experience.

The place has a generally nice, cosy atmosphere. The service was friendly, although a tiny bit on the slow side. While they have a good selection of pastries, the croissants leave a little to be desired (theyre a bit on the heavy side). The coffee is really great, however. They dont stock any craft beers, with only commercial ones being available. Overall, a fairly nice spot to spend an afternoon at.

I had a great visit! The coffee is great, I ordered a flat white. The pastries are delicious! The place must have an excellent pastry chef if I would guess. We had a custard slice, coconut sweetbread and a choux bomb, all three were perfectly done. The interior is beautifull and modern. The BakeHouse has a modern look with gorgeous crockery. The staff we very friendly as well. Overall I had a great experience and Im definitely coming to visit regularly!

Another gem, fairly new, but what an experience! Had a great thin based pizza, close to the best I ever had. Coffee was really great, great ambience. Love the decor! Cant wait to be back! Just by the way, thay also have Gin!

Only been here twice before, the service was very good despite it being extreemly busy and who doesnt like an atmosphere. Besides the street parking being a cramp, its worth tackling to enjoy all that BakeHouse has to offer. Coffee is great, Food is top notch!!! You cant go wrong.

Tried the BakeHouse for a brunch yesterday. Dont really have much to say other than service was good from an attentive waitron but the food was rather average at best. Only thing that stood out was the sour dough bread.

The tea and service was good. The pastry on the other hand was really disappointing. Im yet to give this place another try and the different pastries, but for now I was not too impressed. The pastry was a chocolate palmiere. Will definitely be coming back today

In terms of flavour - the Bakehouse Froissant (a French-toasted half croissant) is a dream! Perfect for those who love a sweeter breakfast / treat that is not too heavy.I have been here twice now - coffee is fantastic. Unfortunately both times, the service had been notably slow. Would go back but definitely not while it is so busy/ when someone is hangry :)

Have had great food on numerous occasions. The prego rolls have always been delicious and authentic.Today however had a bad experience. The prego rolls were not the same standard as before.Pity the quality of food has deteriorated....will not be going back.....

Gorgeous new restaurant in Hazelwood Village in Pretoria East! Atmosphere second to none. Service was excellent, calm waitresses even during peak hour, and food was delicious as was the coffee.

Bad food!! Bread of the prego were so hard it crumbled like rusks. My well done egg need to send back. Never again!!

Really great pastries. Serving tea with a teabag in a cup however detracts from the experience, as does serving milk for the tea in a cup instead of a jug.
