I got a quote from them on my car. It was higher than expected so I thought that maybe my expectations were off. Nope. Received two other quotes, also from reputable, accredited businesses (with better reviews as well) and they were both a third or less than the quote that Auto Magic gave me.

*Shaking my head* R180 for a quote to paint a panel...no accident damage just to do cosmetic work only.. painting plastic black mat panel to a gloss black color ONE panel and I must pay R180 for a quote, nope you guys are not serious about business.. Try panel beaters around the area you wont pay such stupid amounts.

Next level customer service. I really wish all insurance companies would recommend this outlet.I was kept up to date at all times.Got left voicemails every week. The car was done two weeks prior to the deadline.Really really awesome group of people.

The first time I requested to polish and paint a plastic panel of my car that had a small scratch. They didn’t want to do the job if it wasn’t replacing the whole panel. The second time I was sent there by my insurance company and the woman at the front desk was incapable of giving me a date to book in my car and when they called I was given over a month and a half of waiting. I took my car elsewhere and was perfectly repaired by the time this company called me with an appointment. It seems that they have a policy of chasing away clients. Not recommended at all.

I would HIGHLY recommend them! I was in an accident and had to have most of my cars rear end replaced. Not only was it done in record time, the workmanship is of a high quality. I was called with regular updates on how my car was doing and and estimated time frame for completion given each time. I have moved to joburg but I will still go all the way to menlyn if I need any work on my car done again.

Unfortunately for me and my insurance Ive been @ Auto Magic Menlyn more than a couple of times but fortunately the friendly and knowledgeable staff made every time a great experience.For a automotive enthusiast like myself the workmanship is the most important part and the crew at the back you never see gets an extra 5/5 Stars for that.

The service at Auto Magic Menlyn is atrocious.My appointment was for today. Several arrangements were made with my partner, his family and my colleagues to ensure alternative transport from today. Auto Magic Menlyn simply changed my appointment. They refuse to see reason. Their stubborn and downright rude refusal to accept that a mistake has been made is beyond comprehension. They have wasted my time, my partners time, my colleagues time. They are unprofessional and not to be trusted.

A bit hard to locate

Wanted to repair a scratch, they quoted for a replacment of the scratched panel and did not respond to my email complaining about the quote.

Worst experience with a panel beater ever. Receptionist is friendly and helpful but the two managers Jethro who has no idea what he is doing and how to treat a customer and Barry that has an attitude problem.

Even though I had a good experience. The receptionist Lebo is terrible. She has an aggressive attitude and is rude to clients. She was so obnoxious if I was dealing with her I would have demanded to speak to a superior.
