The food was delicious. Had the chicken schnitzel with chips. It was very tasteful. Our waiter was also very helpful and friendly. Will definitely give them overall rating of 9/10.

This is such a good fibe for students. Love the menu, with the coolest variety of drinks and with very good food, but the service was not the best, to few waiters for such a big crowd of people, waiting long for food. But very good prices, so its mixed emotions because of the staff quality. So go and decide on your own.

If you have time to waste go for it. Worst service ever. Not the first time also. Previously we waited 25 minutes just for drinks. This time waited an hour for our food. Left eventually to go to a place where we could get served.

They have lots of specials and the food is amazing.Their three little pigs pizza has been recommended to me, but I never got to try it.I remember a few nights with half priced cocktails and two-for-one pizzas that turned into late nights while chatting around the table in big groups.Make sure to book early on the nights when they have specials or the days when they do special menus.

This is the worst service Ive ever had. If I could I wouldnt give any stars. When I got here I I had to wait 15 minutes for the waiter to help me and he threw the menus on our table and left. I waited an hour to get a BREAKFAST. I could have made it at home in 5 minutes. Would never eat here again. This place is messed up.

Worst service I have ever experienced! We sat there for half an hour on a day where there was only 2 other tables with people and got absolutely no service.

Absolutely terrible service. Not once have I been to oukraal where the service was acceptable. The wait staff dont greet or welcome clients. You have to find your own table and wait ages for someone to come and help you, even with only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. The food is acceptable, however it takes forever to reach your table, and if they actually get your order correct or you actually receive all your food on the plate consider yourself lucky. The only time service is moderately quick is when time comes to settle your bill...

Affordable food and great drink options.

Lovely place to have something to eat and drink, food is delicious and not to expensive. Service is good and friendly staff. Jonathan was our waiter, and could not complain at all. He always check up on us, and ask if we need something, and keep us up to date on our orders.

Im torn about this place. I felt the prices were too high given the quality of the food. The 100% beef burger was not 100% beef. I could both see and taste that it was a processed burger. My tables starters were very nice. Great decor and vibe inside the restaurant. Great selection of drinks to go along with the vibe. 3 stars as the burger really disappointed me. Still worth a try though in my opinion.

I want to give them 5/5, but theyve definitely been slacking. Besides the expected wait, the bar gave us flat drinks. Generally though, Oukraal is amazing.

The food is amazing! I absolutely love the pizza and nachos there. I also had a great dom pedro. Although, with the other cocktails, I have yet to find ome I like.Has a great vibe and is a lekker plek to be.

Their pizza is quite good. The menu is rather extensive, especially the drinks. They also have some great specials. It can get a bit busy and noisy, so be prepared to wait a while for service. Overall, it is definitely a place to visit.

Very welcoming staff, half of the time. Yes we all know how busy waiters are but it is a real shame when the costumer has to wait hours to receive a menu, when there are plenty available or wait to have your order taken when the waiter is literally standing and twiddling his thumbs a few cm away. Please be aware of the surroundings.The food however is worth the wait as well as the cocktails.

We went to late lunch at Oukraal.. Food and vibe was great. Our waiter was Theo, who was absolutely the best. He took a very detailed order of 7x disses without writing a thing and delivered it perfectly. Thank you Theo.

Oukraal has a superb cocktail menu and you must have the ribs there. Wonderful vibe to hang out with friends and a great starter for the evening out.Service is admirable but when it is busy you do wait quite a while for your order especially of you are in a larger group.

An extremely cosy restaurant with a friendly team of staff. Food and drinks too a while to come but quite worth the wait in my opinion. Drinks specials until 19:30. Not 100% traditional drinks you expect from fancy restaurants but for what its worth not bad. Food isnt bad either. Good portions and not stingy with pizza topping which is quite a bonus considering their wednesday specials. They do have daily specials which is great for the wallet.

We waited a while for the staff to bring menus, eventually I got the menus myself. The cocktails are delicious, and the food was okay. I had a burger, maybe the other dishes are beter. Overall a good and comfortable environment.

Cocktail specials every night aswell as meal specials weeknights. This restaurant has tvs for game day updates and has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is friendly. Easily accessible venue seeing as it is situated on The Bult and is affordable to even the students

Very neat place, they have one of the largest variety of shooter and cocktails I have seen in quite a while. We had platters and pizza they are not stingy at all with the helpings and sauces, I would definately recomend it to anyone passing through Potchefstroom.
