Was a service with a smile. Food was warn and yummy. And drinks cool as ice.

Good Food, and fast service

The Good: There are ample parking. The food is good and what you expect from Wimpy. The restaurant is medium sized and caters for customers who would like to sit outside under a roof. The waiter which served us was prompt and friendly.The Bad: The doors to the toilet is very cramped and might be difficult for a parent with a child to navigate.

Great burgers and friendly staff. Had to wait more than 20 mins for 4 burgers in the drive-through

Slow service, cracked plate, food does not look appetising, tastes okay.Edit: Later that day all 4 of my family members experienced food poisoning. Hope it was a one time thing.

Very poor service. We waited very long for someone to help us. There were barely any waiters to be found (because yes, we had to get up and go look for someone to take our order). When our waffles finally came, theyd obviously been standing for a while because they were ice cold. A disappointing experience.

Returned after bad experience 2 years ago. Today they need a very well deserved thumbs up. Thanks for awesome food and service!!!

Cleanliness, and quality is a problem

I had placed an order for waffles and ice-cream through Mr. D delivery app around 45 minutes prior to closing time, I waited for Mr. D till Wimpy was officially closed but the staff worked beyond to reach out to Mr. D to fetch their orders for me and I got it with the ice-cream still in good condition. Thanks! Maybe I should get a free breakfast voucher for two 😁

They took away the vegetarian breakfast with a veg patty from the menu. I was sad, but the waitress was kind enough to organize one for me.

My experience at this drive Thru has just been bad. First, the steak was dry, and chips not done well. Not to mention the takeaway pack was placed upside down and the food was just all over in the bag and sauce had made the bag wet even the back seat of the car.

The service was sloppy . Whatever they claimed was a grill tasted like it was made in water . The food really gets 1/10. The only thing I enjoyed on that plate was the chips. They had mixed the orange and mango juice and there was no other option 😂😓.Get this , our waiter checked on us once . We asked for the bill from another waiter who then disappeared for 30min . I eventually stood up to go ask for the bill. The ladies at the cash register told me that they didnt serve me . They called Nnana who then came with the bill like another 15minutes later .I hated it here. To think I was hungry !! Didnt even eat the left over food. Terrible .Close Potchs Wimpy down please !!!!

This branch of the well known food outlet chain has been part of the Potchefstroom community for many years. Fresh food and friendly staff ensures a pleasant experience time after time. The drive through is operating efficiently and the orders are prepared correctly. Although the premises are relatively small there is ample safe and secured parking available. If you are in the mood for a typical Wimpy experience this branch will not disappoint.

Staff are friendly and very efficient. They prioritized the kids food and that is something uncommon in general. There is however no kids play area. Enjoyed it and will be back.

Not complying with Covid-19 requirements.Poor service we ended up leaving the restaurant after we waited for about 20minutes for a waiter to serve us.

Me and my family go to Wimpy on a regular basis especially Sundays for breakfast, unfortunately I am disappointed this time around since went for lunch and ordered something different this time.The chicken and calamari was very dry and tasted old.I have informed our waiter who was very kind and did not make something about it, but I will stick to my normal breakfast in future.

Bathroom smelled awful. We had to call waiter if we wanted something, as she didnt stop by to check if everything is fine. Breakfast was fine though. But they also forgot to give ice with our drinks and we had to ask.

We bought the new crunchy burger with the onion rings. Omw the burger was amazing, the chips was amazing! We also made use of the drive through service and I am not disappointed.

As far as wimpy goes... This has everything one would expect. Good coffee, pricey food, standard diner style seating.What separates this from the others: absolutely abyssal ablutions.Single toilet for men and Ive been told the women also only have a single toilet. Rarely in a clean condition.All and all, not bad. But not the best wimpy in Potchefstroom

I would not call it the best experience that Ive had at a Wimpy. It is very small. I would say the drive through service is more the key feature of this specific franchise, because the service inside is quite slow. The food was not bad though, I would call it up to standard.

Fresh food. Friendly service. No one introduced themselves and our table swopped waiters. Only checked back at the meal when we were finished. We didnt wait long for food to come. Fast service. No tvs. They were removed from the wall. Cables were hanging there.

They advertise they open at 7. It was cold and raining. I worked nightshift and 7 worked well. Staff sitting around but only opened the doors at 10 min past 8. Not very friendly. Will never support this branch again

The best Wimpy ive been at... and by far the best one in Potchefstroom.This isnt just a impressive modern looking Wimpy, but the only one ive ever seen that may brag with a drive-through!*The waiters were also incredibly friendly and played along with children, serving the orders very quick and making sure everyone has a great time.Thank you guys!!! Not good at all. Toilets very dirty. Aircon not working. No Salt and pepper on the tables. The smell of pinegel in your nose.

Their service was friendly and their coffee remains their greatest claim to fame.

Did not even give me ice with my water. Very bad! Wanted to charge me extra for a slice of cucumber. I opted to go to Pick and pay to buy a slice of cucumber for my water.
