This is a lovely place to hang out with some friends. Lots of different things to eat and drink. Never a dull moment. Even fun taking your family to experience a little of your student life. With the recent upgrades made, we as students can now enjoy more than ever before.

The Drakenstein has always and will remain a favourite on the NWU Potchefstroom campus. With generous portions of food at reasonable prices it is a great watering hole in campus.

Nice chill place, and they serve the best draught

The food is amazing, although a bit pricey. The vibe is nice and theres a bar as well for those who prefer alcohol. There is a restaurant side where you may not smoke and there is also a smoking side with its own bar. And you can watch sport there.

Cheap food & drinks. Small smoking area. Live-Tv sports viewing. Payment student cards or cash. Festive atmosphere. Safe.

As a student, the Draak is iconic and will always be part of the Universitys heritage. It has become very overpriced as most of the food increased with over R15 this year. Somehow this still hasnt stopped business.

Great Place Place For Taking A Break

The Draak is popular around students. It is located on Campus. Prices are not too bad, the food is also not bad

Situated in the campus of the North West University of Potchefstroom (PUKKE) it is a central hub for students! Great atmosphere and chill vibes! It can become to loud as it is directed for a younger audience. Food is fast and delicious! Try the Baffulo wings, you wont regret it! You pay your order at a till then you get a trophy with your number on to help the waitress identify the order with the table!
