I love SPAR. Fresh fruits and vegetables of your choice. Ready to eat meals is always on my list. The coffee bar was a treat for me. Hazelnut freezo is a must on your list. Super friendly staff. Always lovely

The staff are very friendly and kind. Special mention goes to Shezi who operates at the till. Its a pleasure to be served by her each time I go there. Wonderful personality and helpful too!

Not much to say. Very spacious, wasnt crowded and has about everything you need at a supermarket. Pricing also seems very competitive and I think even cheaper than in Pretoria.

I wish I could give a 0 star review. Managers are rude to staff and unhelpful to clients; ruined the entire experience.

Decent parking, nice service, pretty well stocked.The only critique i could give is that the store layout feels off, and that i couldnt find soy sauce by myself (ie not with the other sauces, again layout)But the overall experience is good, it should be noted that this is a Super Spar, and that the prices arent always competitive, but their produce is some of the freshest in town, their butchery is also very nice with a great assortment of meat.

Staff is very friendly I have never been to this spar before and one of the employees could see that I was lost she took my basket and took me through every aisle and help me to get all the food an products that I needed. The wait at the tills was not long. Great service. Alot of SPARS out there can take some tips from you!!

Service is great and their shelves is always stocked. Ive never waited for long in a queue. Their parking is not so safe though, as someone tried breaking into my car in front of the entrance.

Spar has all the goods one needs. It is wheelchair friendly. The service is fast and reliable. Its prices are reasonable and it has a great food selection.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have gone out of their way to help me find something by checking the stores. They also try to keep prices as low as possible and allow for students to pay with their student cards. They, however struggle to keep up with the demands of the public and always seem low on stock.

The Local Potchefstroom Bult Spar just had some mayor upgrades and renovations. It looks and feels the part of a decent grocery shop. They also opened a Spar Pharmacy right next to it. So you should get everything you need right here. Clean, good prices and good customer service

Go-to store if youre a student and too busy to go to the mall, its organized and also the best place to buy braai vleis.

The store is absolutely great! One challenge, though, is the parking area in the frontside of the store. People who have lived in Potchefstroom long enough will know that its a one way, most people do not and it causes a lot of frustration.

Everytime I travel through Potchefstroom, I stop at Spar to buy flowers or snacks for my parents. And definitely buy a cup of coffee or cuppochino. The staff members are friendly and very supportive. They also offer a BIG glass bowl filled with delicious water - to enjoy for free.

Encounter a VERY unfriendly staff member there. My granddaughter (9) has a small mini pin. She does not even wheighs 1kg, she carries this dog with her everywhere. We usually support bussinesses that doesnt mind the little dog and visited this branch frequently in the past. At this occasion, we already ordered our food, the lady was about to give my order, when this supervisor said we are not alowed in there with the dog. (Just before that I watched him scold an employee about something in front of customers - very unprofessional and humiliating for the person) Okay, very well, I understand. (I know most shops have a no pet policy, it is fine)Can I just pay for my food? Very rudefull - NO, we have to leave NOW. So we did, left our food there and didnt go there again nor will I EVER go there again.

As a big name in the food retailing industry one would expect quality throughout, but by my experiences this Spar has one of the worst customer care and services that I have seen. Utterly useless and dont even think of going around 6 and 7 at night.Some pros of the store is that it has a bigger variety of products vs its competitors in the area. The store also accomodate payment made via student card (hence the busy hours of 6 and 7).
