Received the worst service from cashier Khaliso who not only gave us attitude but threw our stuff to the other side of the till and did not want to request the price for one of the items making us leave it. Youd think the manager - Kaylee would be better but she ignored us to continue her personal phone call and after all that she just said shell deal with the cashier and dismissed us. Checkers has to do better because this is not the first time.

Best Checkers Ive seen by far, looks very modern I love the cheese island, not a huge variety of wines though.

Always a very long queue while there are ONLY 1 or 2 tills open!This Checkers sells products that have expired. From fruit to cheese to bread even wraps or tramzzinis. Very unhappy with this.Clean.. but definitely Not recommended.

Bought mac&cheese from the deli/prepared food section (almost only a palm full for R25). The staff were quite grumpy. Came home and it was completely inedible - the cheese sauce or something must have gone off. Even the smell was repulsive, plus the food was icy cold for some reason. I had to throw it away, since it was too far to drive back. Also tried to buy a cappuccino from the cafe section, and the lady was unhelpful, saying they often do not have whats stated on the menu, but that shell check. She saw the grounds had to be cleaned out of the machine, and thus said she would have to first fix the machine first (basically urging me not to go through with the purchase). While I usually enjoy shopping there, this was a miserable experience.

Its like walking into Woolworths. Its new, fresh and has everything you need there. Finally a place that I can go to without having longer than a 10 minute drive. They also have some organic products that I love. Very clean very professional.

Worst Checkers I have ever been at. The staff is slow, grumpy and unwilling to help. On multiple occasions now, I was forced to wait 20+ minutes to get assisted and then was forced to wait another 20 minutes for them to tell me they are out of stock on that specific product. This place lacks organization and structure which other Checkers store have.

Unhelpful and grumpy staff. Offline most of the time when I go to the shop. Not good, Ill rather avoid that store in future. This is my personal experience. I think there need to be done a lot of training.
