Management and contact with the client was brilliant. However, what we went for, Mikes Kitchens renowned recipes was not found.

On the 28th of September 2021 I ordered a medium rare Sirloin steak and received a not medium, not medium-well, not well, but Very well done steak. Also my Starter ( Chicken wings ) was also Extremely well done ( some of them even burnt black )I dont know who was the chef and manager that day, but it is the worst service I ever received at Mikes Kitchen. I go to Potchefstroom often ( business and private ) and almost every time I stop at Mikes Kitchen for lunch before I go home, but I think I will try a different restaurant in the future.

Friendly staff and we enjoyed our meal. Helped that the play pen for the kids is outdoors as theres not many outdoor play areas around in this area from my experience.

Excellent experience here again as every single visit before. The waitrons are very friendly and quick to serve you. As you would expect, the menu is quite friendly to almost every palete. Kids will always be entertained as well and smokers are welcome on the outside sections, which are comfortable for group visits and small functions. A+

The cocktails were horrible if they even know how to make proper cocktails. I ordered a medium cooked steak I got medium rare to raw instead. The service was just bad and slow it was not even busy.

The food was delicious. They have a big variety to choose from. The food is pricy but for the quality of the food it is worth the price.

Excellent service and professionalism from staff. Our waiter was concise when answering our questions. Orders were delivered in good time, fresh and hot. Play area is in excellent condition and tables are located nearby for parents and in the event of a party. My wife and I had a period of rest whilst the kids enjoyed all the area has to offer. Needless to say, we will be returning soon. Thanks to Mikes Kitchen and all their staff!!

Our table was a bit big. I think they wanted to serve everyone at the same time and some of the food was cold. No shame in asking a table to serve as food comes off to make sure it is war. Staff very friendly

This was literally the worst meal I’ve had in a decade. The only worse experience was when I was being fed for free along with 300 other people at a hostel in the mountains of Italy in 2008.We arrived at 19:40. Someone came and got us water and said they would be right back to get our order. While we were waiting 3 other servers came by and asked if we were being seen to. We said yes but it still took 15min to have our order taken. It was probably 20:00 by the time we finally ordered.However, our food was not served until 21:30 and that was after we asked 3 times where it was!When the food finally arrived my “medium rare” steak was “well done” and cold. Then the server forgot to bring us cutlery, causing further delay.It was as if they were trying to ensure we had a bad experience. The only positive was the bill being brought to us quickly at the end.I’ve had so many great steaks in South Africa over the years. Why waste your time here when there are far better alternatives?

The food was average. 5 T-Bones were ordered medium rare. 3 arrived rare, 1 was medium and 1 was as ordered.Service was reasonable.There are two kiddies play areas at the rear - which is a good thing but if you want a peaceful meal do not take your meal under the rear cover area but rather in the main reataurant area.

Last Saturday myself and friends had a late breakfast at Mikes Kitchen Potchefstroom, as motorcyclists we were warmly welcomed, excellent service, had a great relaxing time, then today the 28/03/2021 I rode with another group of friends & I suggested we go for breakfast there again, wow was I shocked, we placed I order & waited which we had no problem with, when our order arrived it was such a disappointment, two of us ordered bacon & CHEESE toasted sandwiches which came with only bacon on, NO cheese, one could taste the old oil from the toaster on the bread, a real shame, in this troubled hard times for the restaurant industry Mikes Kitchen Potchefstroom will have to pull up their socks, well, I for one will never dine their again, sorry
