Our trustees have secured the services of Glen Smit Property Administrators in Port Shepstone. They have been managing our complex for the last year. Their ability to service the complex in the best interest of the owners is sorely lacking. Under the leadership of Michele Brewitt it is shocking to see the absolute lack of transparency, poor communication skills and overall apathy for anyone they engage with. She does not respond to emails, she was condescending and rude during our AGM which was done over zoom during lockdown.Her ability to deal with issues and objections brings her ability to behave in a professional manner in disrepute.The owners of the complex have objections to a special levy that was instituted illegally and without due process and are ignoring all communication around this issue. One of the owners have now officially laid a complaint and awaiting feedback and is NOT confident at all that she will even respond.Glen Smit PA manages over 50 body corporates in and around the south coast of Durban and Im sure that this is not a singular occurrence. It is concerning to see that so many people entrust their asset/s to a managing agent, that clearly does not operate within the rules, without questioning and doing something to eradicate this type of behavior.The behavior and conduct of Michele Brewitt is unbecoming of a managing agent who is employed by a body corporate to service the needs of the owners in an ethical and professional manner.

The Bookkeeper does not have manners, she need to learn to speak with customers.
