To eat at the Golden Pillow restaurant is a fantastic experience... and the best hamburger and chips in Polokwane! Friendly and well trained staff... would like to name waitress Angel.... very competent in her job.

Lovely place to sit a relax, whether you want to work or a business meeting, or just a drink with friends. Competitive prices as well as weekly lunch specials (Had a succulent and hearty T-Bone steak). Definitely a must visit if you are in Polokwane.

Golden Pillow is one of the best Tourists attraction centre in Polokwane.The staff is so friendly and tries to assist us in whatever the challenges were in as far as accommodation was concerned.They were prepared to can offer the alternatives in case they were fully booked.This is to go an extra mile.One will always want to go back for accommodation requirements

Food was good but service was terrible

Golden Pillow offers special meals once a week. This week their special will last for the week. 2x 150g beef sosaties (kebabs) plus chips or salad for R110.00. The meat was tops and the salad fresh. You can find their specials on their Facebook page. I can recommend them.

The golden pillow is a lovely overnight place, very clean, very friendly. No extravagant extras, but definitely worth a business trip overnight! :)

Excellent Food

Very disappointing! Waitress had to be called by manager to get any service🤔 We were there with clients and while we were still eating the waitress came to ask us to pay our account as they want to cash up. And then the account was mixed up as well. Rooms with no electricity and when the gentleman complain they said maintenance left and will only be back tomorrow! After a struggle we got a new room and had to remind them to give us the key. Sorry but we will not entertain clients there anymore. Nor will we book our clients there for overnight.

The food was ok. Nothing special about it. The waitresses dont have costumer services. I ordered a mixed grill, and asked for a hard boiled egg. The egg was boiled but the yolk was runny. She didnt even offer to get me another egg or apologize for it. She just looked away.

The food is exceptional. Not expensive. Service with a smile. Nice admosphere. The running water and koi is contributing to the relaxation. A pleasure to eat at.

Stayed over for one night and got to experience the most devine chicken livers peri peri... Now I enjoy them hot so the chef, whom I had the pleasure of meeting, added some chopped chillies on the side for me, wow so tasty. My partner enjoyed his mild and they have such a lovely taste. The steaks were mature, just the way they should be served, and well marinated in wine and garlic. Definately will visit again.The accommodation has all you need for a relaxing overnight stay and clean.
