Not much better way to enjoy lunch than overlooking vineyards and mountains with a large grass patch for the kids to play with a jungle gym. Pizza was good. Would definitely recommend it.

Wine was good, service was very bad, on the website it says ask us about our cheese platters available, we asked, and we are still waiting (now we will never know). Ordered a juice for the kids, and had to remind the waiter about that too. If it was extreamly I can almost understand, but it was not. The view is beautiful.

First class wine and dine

Beautiful setting and restaurant, great play area. Unfirtunate that the service was nothing short of shocking. I just moved to Paarl and went to have a drink and get the kids milkshakes in the afternoon. The waiter realised we werent staying for Dinner and lost all interest. I asked for a baby seat and he said they had inside but did not offer to bring one. He let me take another chair from a nearby table myself and did not assist. My son spilled milkshake all over himself due to not having high chair and he did Not clean the table (I did) for the whole hour we stayed. My daughter cut her lip open and I had to go in myself to get a glass of water. Then I had to go look for him to get the bill. We were completely ignored. I tip generously even if I dont get good service but he deserved nothing. They need to train their staff better and this guy was awful

We came on Friday afternoon as a danish tour operator to see the property and consider to bring groups her from Denmark. Unfortunately and surprisingly were turned around write from the gate by arrogant security guard and been told there were noboby at reception to see us. Funny enough, reception picked up the phone 10 seconds later and spoke to me.No surprise, things are going badly in SA after this kind of welcoming.One of my worst experience with accommodation without even visiting and talking to management.

A relaxed lunch venue with family-friendly vibe, including highchairs and kids play area. Service was excellent with attentive staff and friendly manager. Food ranged from pizza to lamb shank, and everything we tried was delicious. Well worth a visit!

I only visited the place to run a cross country race, but it was a race to remember. It is a beautiful estate with the most amazing views and architecture. To experience what the wonderful Boland is all about, this place is the perfect stop. With a friendly atmosphere, endless vineyards and good food, this is the place to visit.

We visited the wine tasting, restaurant and stayed in the lodging a couple of times the past years. Beautiful grounds. Wines are good, recommend the macaroon and wine pairing, restaurant has short but interesting menu, seating inside or out, outside recommended. Lodging is comfortable but showing its age, breakfast is tasty and takes a while.

Restaurant meal was lovely. Wine tasting also good but the childrens tasting of grape juice was very sweet and needed to be watered down. Beautiful scenery. Would recommend!

A fairly disappointing experience. The food was mediocre (and eventually came out cold with stale bread) and service was slow even for the winelands! We had meatballs and livers for starters - both in the exact same tomato sauce and underwhelming. Was nice to see the manager/owner about, but would have appreciated them making sure service was quicker.We love to support local businesses so will give it a second shot - hopefully it was just an off day!

Pleasant early Sunday lunch with magnificent views of ring of mountains around Paarl. Thank you to friendly Laborie staff...We enjoy our early morning vineyard walks and needed to come say thank you by supporting the restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food is delicious; service is attentive.

We enjoyed our dining experience on the patio on the comfortable couches near the kids play area where our daughter could run around. We had the cheese platter with an appropriate glass of the Laborie wines. A lovely afternoon with good service.

Fabulous setting and food

Beautiful atmosphere, but feel its still second to Grand Roche. Laborie has its unique charms. Its family friendly and provides a more authentic vineyard experience.

Lovely place to visit. But, it is essentially just a wine tasting venue with a restaurant. Nothing much else to see or do besides visit a small monument in the vineyard.

Instead of the advertised romantic setting room overlooking large parking , traffic and noise from paarl main road, no privacy we left after 10 minutes, nothing like any propert wine estate in Fraschoek or Stelenbocsh

Laborie estate no longer sells Laborie wines which includes tasting. Laborie wines was apparently bought by KWV which is down the road. Laborie Estate now has Taillefert wines on the estate, not to bad.

The food is absolutely amazing. You look out onto a fabulous view of the mountains while drinking quality wine.

The time I went I didnt have the best experience. Food came very late, it was then just slapped on my plate because they ended up taking my dish to the wrong table.I hope my next experience is better because Ive heard big things about this place

We ordered the chocolate fondant. Ok, so let me start off by saying that it was not a chocolate fondant. Talk about a disaster. So this was a failed chocolate muffin attempting to be a chocolate fondant.What a joke. It even failed at being a chocolate muffin.Anyway.......not an awesome experience.

We were very excited to take friends from Joburg to Laborie for the MCC and Macaron pairing, as listed on the website. Upon arrival we were greeted with very friendly staff, however we were notified that they don’t offer any pairings anymore. Overall a good experience, however I would suggest updating your website so that expectations can be met.

Service very slow, had to fetch our own menus. Pizzas were good.

We just finished a Motherdays lunch......This place have a serious management problem....All our food did not arrive on time.....So by the time the ladt dish arrived the rest of the food was cold.....The Calamary that I ordered for R130.00...or more.....6 pieces of Calamary and 7 pieces of chorizo plus a load full of rocket....for that price are you for real?....and it was cold......someone ordered a steak.....sorry we dnt have rump....a 4,5 star restaurant dnt have rump on mothers day......anyway....never such tough steak...we actually had to ask for a steak knife....I thought you would get that if you order steak.....the pork belly was good and when the lamb shank eventually arrived it was good...but then they started clearing the table before everyone have finished their meal....So it compelled the others to either rush their meal or not finish it.........SORRY TO SAY NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.........The view is excellent and I do think that if u actually go through the trouble of training your staff and management it could be excellent....just my opinion!!!!!!!
